The Girl Who Could Fly

Rate this book
Tomasina Jones isn't like anyone else Adam Lee has ever met. She can stop a ball in midair, and sometimes she seems to be able to read Adam Lee's mind. She's also a killer baseball coach, and that's just what Adam Lee's team, the Off-Beats, needs.

I liked when she flew and when she dressed up as a boy. That's all.

Note: The subtitle to this book, as written here ("Black People and Self-Esteem"), is incorrect. I have no idea why it appears in goodreads like this. The cover is correct, but the subtitle is misplaced.

There was nothing about Black People and Self Esteem in the title when we checked this out of the library. No matter... it was a sweet story that made me and my mom cry at the end...
