It's been two weeks since Charlotte's rescue and Noah's very near brush with death. He came very close to dying while trying to rescue Charlotte but a little thing like a near fatal knife wound could never slow down the powerful Noah Cutler. Surprisingly, he has finally proposed to the lovely Charlotte with a very large diamond in a very grand gesture right in the middle of Time Square. Oh my! And of course, Charlotte has accepted. But that's not all! Noah has offered the future Ms Noah Cutler a full partnership with him in their brand new office in a brand new building. What? Yep, Cutler and Cutler. But, that's still not all. Still trying to recover from her kidnapping and ordeal with Professor Worthington at Force, Charlotte discovers that Noah is keeping yet more secrets from her and as a result, her trust in the man she loves, once again begins to waiver. Shaken by this latest revelation, Charlotte's newfound happiness with Noah begins to unravel. Oh no! Will Charlotte and Noah's relationship be able to survive this latest ordeal??? And Charlotte's mother???

Our story continues with Charlotte desperate and discouraged with the status of her relationship with Noah and the secrets he seems determined to keep concerning Force and the missing women although he continues to insist it's for her safety. And to add injury to insult, Charlotte's mother has now made an appearance and for some unknown reason, appears committed to disrupting her life. Charlotte, desolate and fed up with both her mother and Noah, refuses to submit to the will of either and decides to no longer accept neither her mother's interference nor Noah's high-handed tactics. But no one disobeys Noah Cutler and gets away with it - not even Charlotte. But there's much more at stake than just her engagement to Noah. Her dream of becoming a lawyer is threatened as well as her life. Oh my! And to make matters even worse, the shocking and unexpected reappearance of an old enemy serves to further complicate Charlotte's newfound resolve. WOW what a cliffhanger and the suspense continues! Hannah did it again with this book in making you want more and you cannot wait to read the next book to find out what happened. Although Noah and Charlotte love each other, their relationship has been through so many ups and downs—Noah being charged with murder, then Charlotte being kidnapped. Will their love prove to be true love or will it run its course and cause them to separate? Professor Worthington, who kidnapped Charlotte, contacts her again; and Charlotte has to meet with Dr. Cartwright regarding law school. Will Noah be able to protect Charlotte from Prof. Worthington? Is Prof. Worthington out of prison or did he escape prison? Will Prof. Worthington try to kill Charlotte again? Will Charlotte be able to continue law school or will she be asked to leave? When Noah and Charlotte meet a woman regarding a case they are working on, Charlotte notices the Lameuix name on the woman. Is there something else Noah is not telling Charlotte about Lameuix? What is the connection between Lameuix and the woman being questioned? This series just keep getting better—you will not want to put it down, and it keeps you enthralled with the characters. There is so much suspense, twists, complications, intrigue, and of course sex that you are not sure what is going to happen next.

Professor Worthington, who kidnapped Charlotte, contacts her again; and Charlotte has to meet with Dr. Cartwright regarding law school. Will Noah be able to protect Charlotte from Prof. Worthington? READER/BUYER BEWARE: At first, I liked that I could buy all 10 books for .99 and getting a good deal. WRONG!! There's OVER 22 Books! The others at $2.99. This author knows how to rip the customer off by offering short stories where the storyline never ends. These books offer bonus books that you find after a few short chapters, and those too offer short stories getting you to buy MORE BOOKS to find the conclusion. Each book is ridiculously short and there is no group deal of 11-22+. For the cost to read the beginning to end, you would think this author would employ her skills in editing her multiple books by spell checking. There are so many unanswered questions throughout the storyline. The characters give quick short answers & never follow up leaving you wondering. I did like the storyline, but after a few books in I couldn't help but feel I had already read this story. Then I realized that the storyline was almost identical to a book I read a few months ago, minus some alterations here & there. Other than that I did like the book(s), but I can't like the author who intentionally rips off the customer.

Tired and Frustrated!!!
Okay so now I am agreeing with everyone else - why write only 56 pages or so and charge money for that and keep continuing to break up the chapters?? It would have been a better idea of writing one or two books combining all 26 series of break-up readings. Plus I am getting a bit tired of Charlotte always putting her foot in her mouth. She shouldn't be a defense lawyer because everyone is guilty before they see their day in Court! She wouldn't even be a good prosecutor because she steps all over herself so much so she'd never win. I'd like to give her a smack or two for her negativity and her "why me" attitude. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Sexy and exciting book.... But.......Please end the book!
This book is BOOK 20 in a series that shows no sign of ever finishing. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers, especially when the next book is months short of coming out. The book is very sexy and quite interesting, but I crave a conclusion.... I read way too many books to be able to keep all of the points of interest straight in my mind. Once the next book finally comes out, I don't even remember what I was waiting to have concluded.....please put us out of our misery and END IT ALREADY!

OMG!! Hannah Ford is one heck of an author! I mean the twists and turns she throws into her stories keep you on your feet and never knowing what's coming next!! Charlotte and Noah's story gets crazier and crazier! I'm eager to know the whole truth about Lameiux!! And that cliffy!?! Wow! Definitely didn't see that coming! I hope the wait isn't long for book 21! I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Waiting
This is a really great series. The story grabs your attention and doesn't let go. Having said that, the wait between novels is killer !! I used to check every week for a new book, then I went to one a month. Now I just wait for news letter. They are worth the wait,but I wish they came sooner.

Another fail for the reader
As with every book so far this was entirely to short just enough to charge for this author has separated chapters into books just for the money this series could easily have been a 3/4 part saga but it's not worth the £2 per part up until now I've always enjoyed this author but greed is always an ugly trait and I will not be reading anything else

Too short..
Thrilling kinda, but the short stories are annoying! KU is the only reason I'm reading! The plot keeps growing without an end in sight too... I'm not up for 21 more books!!! & at this rate, short story flow & so many loose ends to tie up it seems that I am probably stopping at 21...

Keeps getting better
I have loved this series. It keeps me guessing what's going to happen and if Charlotte and Noah are ever going to have their happy ending. Don't make us wait to long Hannah for the next book!

What, I was hoping for a wrap-up. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the storyline. But, twenty novels on two people are more than enough. You reader's need a happy ending, not more drama.

This series just keeps getting better. Noah has his hands full in this episode. Charlotte seems to be a magnet for drama. Everyone seems to want a piece of her, or a piece of Noah through her. And wow, great cliffhanger.

Again not much happened to move the story line in this novella series. There are many things happening, but the series which already moves slowly is starting to get very predictable. The scenes are steamy, but that is not enough.

This book was very difficult to follow, bits were missed out, I felt like I had to fill in the blanks myself so city would make sense. Also it jumped back a lot so I was reading their same bit twice, not the best read

This ( book?) Was almost impossible to read. There were pages that repeated,and then clearly pages missing. After looking forward to this chapter,I was SO disappointed
