I got this mesmerizing military sci-fi ebook novel from Amazon with KU.
As per the other books, this story ends in a cliffhanger. They need to be read in order.

Fair read

Not bad In places very good, good for lying on a sun bed and passing a couple of hours I listen mainly at night as I do not sleep well and I find I much better than reading since I had bleed on the brain I find it difficult to concentrate.I have always loved reading and this is a good system to enjoy books without the need to cause headaches that reasonableness brings in .all in all quite a good story I have already bought the next two in the series. Well done

Sloppy Workmanship Continues In Book 3

Book 3, "Fight or Die," continues not only the decent SciFi storyline of "The Blood War" series, but the eBook author's inept writing and sloppy editing/proofreading.

The storyline is an sadistic alien race invades human space, while using human-alien hybrids. The framework of the series is WWII Pacific Theater (mainly U. S. Marine Corps) and other military history, painfully woven into the SciFi future.

The writing is inept and unskilled. The "romance" introduced by the eBook author in the first half of Book 3 is disturbing and boring at the same time, a unique accomplishment. It is as if an adolescent combined the Marquis de Sade, Penthouse Forum, Harlequin Romance and Victoria Secrets. It is really, really bad soft porn. The other portions of the book are at best ok. The repetitive nature of the writing makes one question if the author has issues.

The editing/proofreading is marginally better in Book 3, in contrast to the earlier books (inept). As there is no listing of an editor and/or proofreader, in makes you wonder.

The copyright name is different from the listed eBook author's name. Is the true author embarrassed by the poor product continually spewed out?

This was it .

Yep, this one had it all. Great story, characters, and believable dialogue. I am pissed off to find it is the last of 3 in. the series, but I'm going back to read the first two, and maybe read this one again. But I will almost certainly buy all three, so I can loan them to friends. I do have my usual complaint ; You need proofreaders ! I guess it's the low budget, right? Well, this guy's stuff will be selling for more soon, maybe you can afford a little more to make him look like he actually uses english as his native language.

Realistic Humans Versus Hostile Aliens at its Military Best!!!

As a former combat Marine, this book presents a saga of the Foreign Legion and Marines in future space combat and planetary battles. The equipment, training, circumstances and engagements are at their realistic best! I can smell the equipment and the smell of fear through the author's choice words and knowledge of the Legion and Corps. The Blood War Book series gets a loud, 5-star, "Oorah!!!".

What A Ride

I couldn't put this book down! Dasan Sand and his marines again. The plot was tight, the characters were believable and likeable. Raw language typical of marines. GOOD STORY PEOPLE!
