Back to back Content Marketing books in a row for me. I suppose this is inevitable, lots of the current content on SaaS companies are of the content marketing type.
This book is 11 chapters written by various people who either work at Salesforce or use to. Since each chapter is written by a different person the chapters aren't particularly consistent.
The book is solid for understanding all of the different SaaS metrics that are commonly used. The authors provide specific tactics for getting things done, such as Go To Market exercises and a granular plan for creating an ebook. I wish they gave examples of the exercises done correctly.
This is a content marketing book so lots of Salesforce pitching is in there. Pardot, Radian6 and more. They have nearly an entire chapter that tells you to get a CRM as soon as you start your SaaS company, lol.
Despite the blatant sales in the book, the content is useful for anyone working at a SaaS company.
