I have been enjoying this Echo Canyon series so much! Each book has so many different characters and varied situations that you never get bored reading. When one book is finished you can't wait to read the next book!
One particular book you will need a bath towel to be handy is Book 7. I cried so much! Like all the books, it has your emotions going up and down but the main storyline is very intense!
Please, please, read these books in the order in which they are written! It keeps the story flowing and you don't have to keep referring to books you have not read yet. The series is a good clean romance story every one from 16 years old and up can read it and nd enjoy it.
Each of these stories are about The Terranova Family their sons and daughter get married. Side stories include the Pastor Andi and Arlis with his mulitple personalities getting married. Marvin lets more people in to tell his and Shadow's story, sad beyond belief. The military comes to town who are evil to arrest Wild Wind and his brother Arrow because they ran away from the reservation even though they are married and have jobs and Wild Wind is part owner with Lucky in raising Sheep. Book 7- Sal and Lulu almost don't get married because her parents are racist and against Catholics, you have to know the history behind catholics and protestants to understand. Their daughter Vanna was engaged to Arrow, so their story was really cute. Anyway Sal and Lulu get married after all in Pastor Andi's church with their families. Ariliss, Win and Marvin have to go to Alabama to settle some gov't business so he can be free. Book 8 - The military come to arrest Arrow and Wild Wind. Shadow protects them until they get a plan together. Arrow and Vanna are married the daughter of Terranova. Arliss contacts the department of defense who he knows to help, they come up with a plan to build a school for indians and Arrow and Wild Wind get to run it in Echo. Nick meet a woman who was held captive in a Commanche camp, and they get married after much trials and lies. In Book 9 is Gino's story with Carrie, their story is crazy. She has a daughter no big deal, she also has ties to the Irish mob yes through her husband who died but was really killed. By the time Gino finds out of course he is in love anyway, although furious, because he can't believe she would not trust him, when her brother in law comes to Echo, he kidnaps her daugther and then go Gino's estate demanding they get married. The sherrif finds out and comes up with a plan, Gino of course pays them off and they get arrested. So Gino and Carrie get married after all. Also Allie and Adam get married Jessie and Thad's daughter. I like these stories they have more excitement and each one builds on the last story which makes it interesting. It is ironic to see the development of the main characters especially the Earnest twins Marvin and Shadow. Also Pastor Andi is a gifted healer and a prophet. They call her a physic in the book.
I've really enjoyed the story line of this series and continued to purchase them when I typically stick to free books.
However, this trilogy in particular could use some extra polishing with proofreading. In book 8, I think it was, the text went to italics to convey some non-verbal communication. Unfortunately the rest of the trilogy continued in italics. There are also several typos. Because I typically read "free" books, this normally doesn't bother me much. But because I purchased this trilogy and there was a high occurrence of typos, I hope an update with corrections will be made for future readers.
Regardless, I enjoyed the storyline and often laughed out loud and usually had a smile on my face s I read.
The story line is very enjoyable and even tear jerking at times. I enjoy historically based novels and the settlement of the northwest is very interesting reading. The author shows a lot of potential. I find that the English grammar is rather poor, however, and the author might profit by taking a few courses. The books also could benefit with more editing. I hesitated mentioning the grammar issue, but did so because I find it very distracting to come across while engrossed in the story. Sorry.
Once again I am amazed and enthralled how this fantastic writter can come up with so many different story lines and keep a so interested in it letting us know what's going on with the people from the previews story. I would recommend the series anyone It's 1 of those stories that when you Start you just can't put your pop it down and tell you read the rest of the periods.
I love all the characters, they are well defined and detailed . I cam see them in my mind as real people. The history of early settlers, tragedy, skills strength to over come so much is incredibly told. Adding Indians with mail order brides is so intriguing to me all different cultures mixing. How people help to over come life issues. Always a mystery to these series too. Which is exciting to me.
This series continues to be fantastic! Linda Bridley's writing is excellent. I am amazed how well she is able to weave at least three storylines within each book. Easy to follow each! Thinking back over the series books 1 - 9 as best I remember, I have read the stories of 14 couples. I highly recommend Echo Canyon series. Each book is great!
The combination very good especially when I was very surprised when it happened. Good reading for those of us who love a good mystery and the added love stories makes it more interesting
A must read. Thank you Linda Bridey for your hours of enjoyment. I lost sleep over your stories!
Lovely addition to a great group of takes about a small Montana town called Echo Canyon. Each story builds on to more of the characters and their lives all interact with each other! Wonderful plots and people! Don't miss it! Love them all! Great read!
So far I have finished 1 - 9 and am getting ready to start 10 thru whatever's next. This has been a marathon reading spell and my wife is ready to kill me. But they're so good. Keep going and thanks again for writing them.
Despite dealing with many serious issues, these books are fun to read. Ms. Bridget may make some grammar errors but the depth of her understanding and perception is awesome.
Okay this set introduces us to another family in Echo. What starts as an intervention ends with a proposal. Each member f the family has their own adventure. This book ends with a cliffhanger. But oh what a ride. I wish I could go back in time and live in this town
I enjoy all your stories but not the one with the 3 different personalities. That I could Passover. It’s too weird that it was excepted and they were married. To far out.
I’v read sets 1-3 would recommend this series to everyone looking for a love story that was tastefully done and looking forward to reading more of your books
I have read 2 different sets of this series. It is exciting, cute, funny, and sexy. It is good from first-page to the last! The characters are rich and full-bodied. Perfect!
I have read the series to this point. You get to know and care about the characters and truly want to continue to follow the threads in a small western town.
The characters in these are good, dreams and heartache seem so real. Obstacles and surprise may stand in the way of happiness. Enjoyable and narration are good. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
