“They still had their marriage training wheels on.”
“Deacon was her air. When life bombarded and suffocated, just the touch of his warm skin brought balance.”
“She was exactly what he’d needed. Exactly what he’d been longing for before he’d even know what it was like to love.”

When an author you already love says "Hey, you guys wanna read my latest book?" You only have one answer. HELL YES. Such was the case when Taryn Elliott offered us a chance to read and review Rock, Rattle & Roll. This is the follow up novella to Rocked, which I gave 5 stars and made Deacon my book boyfriend. I love that Big Guy. This book didn't change a thing. I still loved it, and I still think Deacon is the most amazing guy ever.Loving in fast forward...
Love on the fast track has been the definition of Harper and Deacon McCoy's relationship. In between studio sessions with Deacon's band, Oblivion, and building a new clientele for Harper's catering business, the newlyweds haven't had time to sleep let alone have a honeymoon.
Deacon convinces Harper that they need a week alone together before her business as well as a new album and tour swallows them whole. Since Texas has always held special meaning for them, they head to Galveston to recharge and remember what it's like to just be a couple.
A beachfront cottage, hours of alone time, and plenty of skin on skin action is just what the rock star ordered. Until the future once again comes much quicker than they expected, threatening to crumble not only their perfect honeymoon but also their brand new marriage.
Okay. Here's the deal. I loved it. Now, Megan had some issues with how Harper reacted to some things and we got into a big argument about it. (Yes, we do argue over fictional characters. Regularly.) I can't tell you our exact argument because it would involve a massive spoiler. However, just know that I am right and she is wrong. So there."Do you realize I haven't been inside you in four days?"
"Man, lucky girl. How'd you bag Mr. Universe?"
Harper pushed her shades up into her hair. "Coconut chocolate popovers."
"You're not alone anymore. You'll never be alone again."
"Congratulations on fucking for a week straight."
"God, you're such an ass." Simon rose off the couch, two party hats on his head like horns. "It's congratulation on making love for a week straight."
"I'm sure about you. I'm sure about us."
