Once again I find myself in the mother of all book funks. I've been struggling for the last few weeks to stay focused on a book long enough to get past the opening chapters, yet Consurge hooked me in so much that I devoured it and was left begging for more.

I didn't think I liked Remy very much when we first met her in Somniare but her experiences have changed her and, despite some of her plans being a tad devious, I believe it was for the better.

There were many questions left unanswered in Somniare, but we get those all answered in this instalment.

Somniare is the realm of dreams. Remy was trapped in Somniare with her familiar Makoto, a kitsune, and her magical living voo doo doll. Now they have escaped, but her life hangs in the balance. And if she does live she has a difficult task ahead. Can she help her captor find his corporeal body without unleashing his evil on her own realm?
I really enjoyed these two books! The story was interesting and not your typical paranormal romance. It has elements of fae, dragon, shifters and necromancers. Plus I love how she wove part of her Gates trilogy into this story. It was a great read! 4 stars!
