When I’m out and about, I catch the ladies checking out the goods.

I’m at the beach today and my sister has her posse of friends with her.

”Justin, don’t you remember me,” she asks, in the most sensual voice I’ve heard in a long, long, time.

”Sloane Hart, is that you?” I utter in disbelief, it’s my little sister’s best friend all grown up and filled out in all the right places.

Needless to say I don’t waste a minute getting her alone.

After I take her out to dinner, I get her back to my place for a little slap and tickle session.

Things get hot and heavy, we’re just about to do the dirty deed when I sense something isn’t right, she’s tense.

“Can you go slow and easy?” she asks timidly.

I don’t mess with virgins anymore, not since high school.

After a couple of months, I’m usually done and over it. I tell her I’m doing her a favor.

As soon as I got to then end of the first book I was honestly shocked at how quickly Justin turned down the girl at his work, but I actually felt sorry for him considering he realised that he has feelings for Sloane, but when he got there to try and win her back it didn't exactly go very well considering she wants nothing to do with him.
However Justin isn't going to give up on Sloane that easily, and makes it his mission to win her back no matter what it takes. He knows deep down that he has hurt her considering when she turned round and set him free he sort of jumped at the chance instead of insisting that he wants Sloane only. He knows it in his heart that the only way he can win her back is if he steps up his game but also makes sure that he treats her right and takes her seriously.

Sloane is missing Justin like no tomorrow but at the end of the day she was the one that set him free and then turned him down when he came running back to get her back, she's not sure what went on between the girl from Justin's work and himself but she knows she deserves someone who will look after her and be there for her. However her heart won't let go of Justin, no matter how much she tries and she is slowly starting to realise that she needs to get him out of her system yet the only way that she could do it, is by going out with him but only allowing him access to her body and not her heart as that way he can't exactly hurt her again.
After Justin keeps insisting that he take her out to dinner to at least try and make it up to her she reluctantly agrees, but later after they've had dinner and are back at his place he decides to tell her whilst in the middle of making love to each other that he loves her. Sloane can hardly believe it and ignores him as she doesn't think that he is capable of loving any girl, but to Justin he means every word of it and he wants to shower her with all his love and affection but she keeps pushing him away.

I honestly hope that after a weekend away that Sloane will finally lower down her walls and let him in as I think it's so sweet that he's trying his hardest to win her back, but at the same time I understand where she is coming from as if any other girl was in her position they would be hesitant as into giving into what she wants.
Trust me when I say that you will be wanting to see how it all works out between the two of them as I felt exactly the same way when I got to the end of the first book. The writing and the characters have been so well thought out and they are honestly amazing, each time I read any work of C.C. Cartwright's I fall in love with it all over again and I hope that you all feel the same. So please take a chance with this series

Just Love Me 2 picks up where Just Love Me 1 left off. It's a best friend's older brother romance story filled with heartbreak, forgiveness, undeniable attraction, acceptance, second chances, and love. It's well-written, has a great story-line, and incredible characters.

Couldn't get into this book to save my life. Thankfully this was a freebie. It read like a Dick and Jane book, plodding along with painful simplicity. It's supposed to be a New Adult novel, but the only thing even remotely adult would be the ages of the characters. Their thought processes and dialogue are simply too much like a junior high drama. Maybe it picks up after a while, but all indications are that it continues like this to the very predictable HEA. It would be different if the narration illustrated the characters in such a way to make them sympathetic, but it's written from first person POV switching between Justin and Sloane. So there's no omniscient narrator to make the reader *want* to get past the immaturity and conceit of these characters.

Ok so this book was definitely better than the first one.

I did love that Sloane didn’t automatically forgive Justin, but she did cave a little quickly for sex. Justin was still annoying to me in this book by basically being a coward and still not telling Sloane the complete truth about what happened with Alexis.

Also Justin kept calling Alexis a real woman, when in fact she is what we call a slut who knowingly goes after a taken man.

I honestly have to say that I have fall in love with an amazing and new author for me after reading only 4 books of C.C. Cartwright's. What can I say? Her books are a little bit habit-forming, jiji!!

This novel is the conclusion to Sloane and Justin's story! So the story line in part 2 picks up right where book 1 left off, awesome! With book 1 and now this book you will really fall in love with all the characters. Sloane is very heartbroken and Justin is a jackass, pardon my french! Well time has passed and Justin realize that he wants Sloan back. They see each other for the first time after their brake up in his parents home for dinner. Justin's tries to get her back but she does not believe him or thrust him. Can Justin win her back? Can Sloane get her happy ending? Can his family accepts them as a couple? I don't want to spoil the ending for you but it's superb! So buy it now and get reading, you won't regret it!!! I cant get enough and can't wait to read more about maybe Justin's sister Kylie and Scott romance.

I so waited to continue Sloane and Justins journey. The way the first book ended... I was so anxious. Will Justin win her back? Will he change his ways and be true to his heart?

Like I said in the first books review, this is a simple story, but at the same it isn't. There is something about it, that made me all antsy and apprehensive. I didn't have one hundred believe in that that Justin will go through to the bitter end to win his woman back. I was waiting... Well, I'm not sure exactly what. It just it was his first try at relationship after all his years of man-wh*re ways. And I kinda waited when it will be to much for him and he will just run away. There where some moments when I really wanted to smack him over the head and say "Man the f*** up!". But he did go through all the walls Sloane build after heart heartbreak. He came through it all.

Great continuation to this series! Highly entertaining, steamy and extremely hard to put down with very sweet exchanges coming this time from Justin in his quest to win again Sloane's heart. After Justin takes the easy out Sloane gives him, it's too hard for her to trust him. Even though she decided to move on, her body and her heart have other ideas. Justin is miserable after realizing the huge mistake he made, but he's ready to man up and do whatever is necessary to win Sloane back, even if it means wearing his heart on his sleeve and being vulnerable. Will he be able to convince Sloane that they belong together? Will Sloane be able to move on from her teenage crush?

I loved this second book in the Just Love Me series. At the end of book one it left you with a huge cliffhanger. You wondered if she takes Justin back or not. Justin really changed for the better in this book. I absolutely loved how this book ended. I volunteered to review a copy of this book.
