Last Days Trilogy #1-3

Last Days Trilogy

Rate this book
Led by his curiosity and fueled by intelligence, Dr. Marcus Leon embarks on what he believes is the greatest scientific experiment of all time. One that ignites a firestorm of controversy. Not only does Marcus intend to extract DNA from the blood trapped in the Shroud of Turin, but he will clone the image upon it.

The experiment is a success and the masses embrace the clone as the embodiment of Christ, failing to recognize that science can replicate the body, but cannot touch the soul.

Devoid of this essential spirit, the clone is nothing more than a directionless vessel in need of a captain. A position quickly filled. The arrival of the clone begins the end to all humanity.

Last Days Trilogy includes all three books: Last Days, Exodus, Purge

I see that the majority of people enjoyed this book....but I had to force myself to get through it. The story line started out interesting, but just got so messy and confusing....it just seemed to drag on and on and on. I felt the dialogue was poorly written and I can't remember the last time I disliked a character as much as Reggie. She is supposed to be grown woman with a child. Her tantrums, rudeness, and foul mouth made me want to reach into the book and smack her across the face. This book was a big disappointment, as I've enjoyed all the other books by this author.

Don't get it on audible

I like the author and I she has sold and a bunch of books but she really needs to spend a little money and get some real narrators before I ever buy anymore of her books

Oh My What can I say?

What a book! Mere words cannot describe this story. The author writes with a passion that shows in the characters. A definite 10 star book!

love your books…

Your books grab me from start to finish. I could stop reading and can’t wait to begin the next one. It’s well worth the sleepless nights and being late to work, lol.

Last Days
So you want to clone dna from the Shroud of Turin?Better bone up on your Bible, according to this sci fi story. It was slow going but kind of interesting.Iffy science and religious dogma make a good enough story.I liked the narrator,Rick Gregory.I found it funny where the lady with the British accent goes ahead in a deifinitey American accent. “I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
Exodus 2
This 2nd in a series was slow.Rick Gregory did a good job with the voices BUT as annoying as they were written to be,annoyed me.It seemed everyone in the story was irritated or worse with each other.A cloned Messiah is preparing for the last battle for Earth. He has gained some support along the way,but not everyone is on his side.I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review.
”Purge bk 3:This is the last part of a series. It's the end of the world.Davante ,the clone turned antichrist,is waging war.He has demons, etc on his side.Humanity has Michael, the archangel.James is just a messenger.Again Marcu, clone maker,s is made to stay away from his love. This is the part I really dn't understand.Lilian comes back into Kile and Reggies life with dire consequences.
I liked some parts of this book.Michael and Devantes personalities were non existant Rick Gregory did a great job narrating.I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review.

This trilogy is awesome! It is now one of my favorite post-apocalyptic series! A doctor trying to clone Christ, what could go wrong? Dr Marcus Leon has always questioned his religious beliefs. He's a man of science and needs tangible evidence. What better evidence can you get than seeing Christ in the flesh. He intends to extract DNA from the Shroud of Turin and clone whoever was supposedly wrapped in it. The cloning is a success, but definitely not what he expected. He calls himself Devante. He is the Anti-Christ and he is ready to bring the end of days to mankind. As Devante gathers his army from Hell, Marcus, Regina, and the Archangel Michael gather an army of their own to fight back and save humanity. This is a great Sci-Fi trilogy that I highly recommend! Rick Gregory does an outstanding job with the narration!

I love this author more with every book of hers I read

Jacqueline Drugs is my new addiction! After reading the entire Beginnings collection I needed to go d sometimes huh ing of hers to read until the next part is published. She did not disappoint with this trilogy. I will keep reading her until I can find no more!.
I never was drawn to post apocalyptic novels and still don't enjoy other author's writing in this genre but she gives life, hope and an amazing insight into each character she gives life to! Trust it! You'll like it!

Poor Dialog

I don't understand the five star reviews. The story is interesting, and could have been quite good. However, the main character, Reggie, is so irritating that I wanted to slap her silly. She is a grown woman in her thirties, and a mother of a young son, who has the behavior and dialog of a ditsy teenager. Much of the dialog is sophmorphic. So many times I wanted to give up on this book, but I pushed through. Thank goodness it is over.

Good book

Loved the story, I enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. The characters were well developed and I loved the banter between them. I laughed and I cried a little... I have read several of this author's books and I honestly think this one of her better ones. As a former librarian and teacher, I would recommend this book.

Not my thing. Book 1 I liked 4.5 stars. Book 2 only some parts with Reggie and Marcus. Book 3 was too much.
The Jesus and Angel thing are way over the top for me. I skipped those pages. 1.5 star.
