Okay so this is my first read by this author and I am hooked! I love the realism in the characters, the relationship between Kennedy and her BFF V, and how the entire story came together.

DON'T YOU DARE CROSS BIG GRIP !!

Wow.........I don't know where too start ! This had to be one of the most refreshing books, I've read in 2016. Not only was the plot, one that flowed with a page turning mindset, it was like reading a script for a BET movie. As too not give out any spoilers, I'll say this, the book centers around four main characters, Kennedy, O, Grip, and Vee who are all, going about life dealing with their own issues. Throughout the plot, the four become intertwined in ways you will never see coming. What I really enjoyed about this book is how vividly the author made characters come alive, and I found myself laughing, crying, and just plain old rooting the crew. Yes this book definitely had me in my feelings, and nor did it build me up just too let me down, it kept me engaged from the beginning till the end. Although the book do have quite a few errors throughout, it doesn't take any enjoyment away from the story. True you can't read a book by its cover, and this one, ( cover ) was a tad bit blah, the book definitely get a 5/5 rating from me. I definitely recommend this book because, I love what the author did with the plot and he portrayed the characters as individuals with something going for themselves. Not dope boys and trap Queens. Please where is part two ???

Torn In Between the Two

Kennedy got caught up and found herself torn between Sean and Octavio. I loved the relationship Kennedy and Vee shared because they had each others back and kept it real. Octavio messed up his chances by not keeping it real from the jump. I liked him though because he realized his mistakes and though the entire situation was messed up he still kept some type of hope. Sade needed her ass handed to her for what she tried pulling. It was something about Grip from the beginning and how he took control. Before it was revealed how he got his money I kind of sensed it. I'm glad he got a chance to meet up with Kennedy again but I couldn't believe she was blind to some things about Sean. The whole situation where Grip wasn't able to help Kennedy or Octavio was crazy. To know someone would plot against you and cause pain was unforgettable. I don't know much about Chachi but I'm ready for him to be a distant memory. I can't wait for part 2 because Grip is about to cause some serious problems because dude has violated for the last time.

I enjoyed this book. Kennedy was caught between two men, Sean and Octavio. Kennedy did not know that Sean and Octavio was brothers. Octavio was a basketball player, who traveled the world, and loved women. Kennedy met Sean and she enjoyed his company, she thought she loved Sean but still had feelings for Octavio. This is a true love triangle. A few errors in the book, but it did not take away from the story.

Great Read

Loved the energy of this book. Lots of drama , intense mind boggling events. The choices that Kennedy was faced with kept it interesting. I loved Octavio and they made a good couple , but her and Sean made a better couple. There is so much to say , but not without giving it away. Just get this book , it will be well worth it. Great job Sammie!!!!!

This is my first read by this author. I love the storyline. The title says it all. Poor Kennedy has gotten herself in a real dilemma. What's a girl to do? I like Octavio, but I like Grip as well. I loved Vee's antics through out the story. She sounds like my kind of girl. I can't wait until part 2 to see what Grip is going to do to get Kennedy back.

Wow

Kennedy has really gotten herself in a tough situation. After almost being killed behind Swan, you would have thought she would have left him alone. I was secretly hoping that Ken stayed with Octavio. I can't wait for part 2!

I enjoyed my first read from her for sure. This story gave us a glimpse into the life of Kennedy & the things that some women go through when battling their head and their heart. I'm ready for the next piece. I recommend this book to anyone that wants a change of pace.
