* 1/2 Grabbed this book off the shelf after seeing the movie pictures on the cover and thinking it was the book version of the movie. Ha, turns out is a self help novel for those dating (not me). I read the first chapter and flipped through some others but what little I read seemed dated and according to our male author it would seem that no matter the circumstance, if a man isn't actively pursuing you then "he's just not that into you"??? I have re-read this book so many times. When a situationship is happening you can turn to the relevant chapter and talk some sense into yourself. It is the one book I will never part with and I’ve owned it since 2008 and have just re-read it again today in 2024. The movie is also great!

Finally, a self-help book that’s actually helpful.

Girlie, if you’re getting mixed messages or questioning where you stand - he’s just not that into you.
