****Standalone***** Brooklyn is a 23-year-old independent woman who has anything that she wants. She doesn’t need anyone to take care of her, but her boyfriend of five years doesn’t seem to understand that. He uses his money and materialistic things to take the place of his comfort and love. Brooklyn starts to get tired of it and lets him know, but he doesn’t seem to listen. Sincere was always taught that actions speak louder than words, so he feels that buying Brooklyn whatever she wanted would get her to understand how he feels. That is until he starts doing dirt and using the gifts to cover up his actions. Tinka has had a sexual relationship with Sincere since they were teenagers, but it was nothing more than that. She starts to catch feelings for him then the indescribable happens when she gets pregnant and she sets out to make Sincere hers. Knowledge been with his kids' mother for years. He was comfortable with their relationship. They agreed for him to get his career off the ground before furthering anything with their relationship, but now she wanted more. He goes and takes a big step, but he doesn’t feel like it was the right move when his demons from the past start to haunt him and make him regret his decision. He pushes himself more into work and his music. With everything going in in their personal lives, Brooklyn and Knowledge become closer than ever. What starts out as a friendship soon becomes more and makes them realize that the money can’t keep you warm.
I really don't know how I feel about this book. I wasn't a bad book. I really like the storyline. Sincere really thought that he could keep her happy doing his dirt and buying her gifts to make up for it. Idk why he thought that. I like the outcome of this book. I don't like how Brooklyn acted towards Aundrea tho. This is my first time reading from this author but I will definitely look for more.
Sincere was a fool he was dishing it but couldn’t take it and it cost him in the end. Knowledge once he got real with himself things started to flow different, now Nicole she was really sick in the head. Brooklyn I love how everyone underestimated her....
Wow what a big turn of events. Sin needed to be slapped who sleeps with the town whor3 raw? Tinka kept getting the paws put on her. Brooklyn was a true go getter. Knowledge was a good guy. Aundrea needed to let her boys grow up
Yes Brooklyn my gut Money, Tinka, Nicole got what they a needed. Knowledge and Brooklyn a cute couple. Her best Friend were her true friends she were wrong to get mad atthe. Lil Sin was a mess. Need Part Two of Knowledge and Brooklyn
Niccas stay trying to cover up their dirt or right their wrongs with money or materialistic things. Sin was dirty as all get out and thought he could hide it from Brooklyn by buying her gifts. Unfortunately, your sins will find you out and the boomerang effect takes over. Knowledge was just the right guy to step in and take Sin place too. Of course there is always haters to bring drama and Nicole and Tinka was just that! Read the story to find out why money can't keep you warm! You will not be disappointed, great job Andrea!
This was an interesting read. It shows what happens when you take your relationships for granted. R. Kelly said it best, "when a woman's fed up, it ain't nothing you can do about it". I was happy that Brooklyn stood her ground however, it was foul how she hooked up with Knowledge knowing he was married. This was a good book and I recommend it to all the women that put up with BS.
Sincere and Brooklyn had a toxic relationship that was doomed. He wanted his cake and ice cream, but it was nothing but crumbs. He went to the extreme to get Brooklyn back, but it was over.
This book was everything & more karma is a bitch & all three if them got what the deserved. This book is a great read, it focus on real situation & it was written so well. Banger
