Finally, a book with a story within that beautifully intrigues the mind on multiple levels. Truly captivating, “Time by the Clock” is a story for creative, poetic, artistic readers like myself! I was fascinated! I enjoyed and appreciated the overall flow of the book. Some pages flowed so effortlessly that at times I did think I was reading poetry. Yet, that flow contributed and complimented this dark plot wonderfully as I read how the main character, Catherine recall moments in her life. A little eerie at times due to a lingering spirit, however, it increased my curiosity as I anxiously read trying to piece together the truth as to what exactly has happened. How did her dad die? Why did she know so little? Why did her mom not even have a picture of him up? The suspense was killing me, but I enjoyed every moment of it!
