I love Theo! Only bad part of this book was that I waited so long to read it. Now I want to know Quake and Lucia's story! I like how Elle handled so much overlap between this book and Alexa's. It could have easily been filled with rehashing things already read in the other story, but she avoided info dumps as much as possible. That kept my focus solely on Leandra and Theo. I'm going to be so sad when I get to the end of these stories.But for now I still have many to go. Solid 4 stars for his one. Next please!

Excellent!
I can highly recommend this authors shifter world books. Each and everyone entertained me. All contain awesome characters, with good amounts of cross over. The storylines are distinct yet there is a thread that weaves thru each story that binds them together to form a complete world.

I liked it in context with the other books, as kind of a backstory, it would have rated lower if I only read this one book.

A quick read that's not a stand alone. I almost wish the stories were all combined into one single one so that I wasn't rehasing what I've already learned.

the swamp witch and the enforcer, what a strange combination especially since it is taboo. I thought this was a great storyline, I love the fact that it started in the past so you could see what happened before we met these characters in the other stories. Theo is a fun character, no matter his position he has no problem doing what he thinks is best. Leandra was an interesting character, she seemed like an old soul in a young persons body and had to grow up to quickly. As with all Ms. Thorne's stories you will easily fall in love with the characters if you had not previously done so. Each series is original but incorporates the characters of the others to keep it tied together in one big family. There was a lot of important information provided in this plot, some easily recognized and others were just subtly touch upon. I always have unanswered questions when I see the hints and wonder what surprises she has in store for us next. I saw several opportunities for spin off stories and wonder if I am on the right path. Fast paced and easy to follow with a great storyline and amazing characters. I look forward to finding out if my suspicions are correct and as always eagerly await the next adventure.

It feels like we've dreamed about Theo and Leandra's story forever. I can honestly say it was worth the wait. Elle Thorne has done a wonderful job with their story. I would recommend that you read the other books in the Only After Dark series before reading Inevitable. Each book gives you a look into Theo and Leandra's relationship. While Elle does hit the highlights in this book to really understand the struggles this couple has been through you should read the other books. However, if you can't or choose not to for some reason you will be able to understand how much Leandra sacrificed in order to save not just Alexa Arceneaux but Theo too.
For those of us that have been curious about Quake, we all get a glimpse into him and Lucia. Now their book is one I absolutely can't wait to read. Elle Thorne's entire shifter world grows with each new book, yet they are all connected in the way that families are connected sometimes by blood and sometimes by choice.

I couldn’t wait for when this story came out! I’ve read all of the stories in this series so far and you got one story that you were starving fir only to hunger to know the stories of 3 more characters within this story. It gave you an early history of Theo and his Swamp Witch Leandra, when they got together, and how they came back to each other. But this short story puts so many questions in your mind like just how old was Mémé and Lucia. What is Quake and what’s the deal between Lucia and Quake? Just when you get sated for one couple, you’re thirsting for another—and I can’t wait for the next drink!

I got goosebumps. I love the story of Theo and Leandra. So glad Elle started from the beginning of their story decades ago to present day. To learn why he had to fall in love with Alexa and then all of a sudden BAM the spell is lifted and all is right with he and Leandra once again....OMG just loved it. You have to read it for yourself to get the whole story because I am not one to spoil a good read. And if you haven't read any of her books, you need to start.

So worth five stars. Way to make me want more. Theo has been building up for so long and what a perfect way to pull him and his beautiful witch together. No way will I say more and blow it for others. Just need to read it fore themselves to understand.

You don't know what's in the swamp
Lions, Tigers an witches. Throw in a few vampires with attitude you have crossed lovers, added to the mix. A lot going on. Love will bring them together. Have to see why the big baddest of what is on their side.

Inevitable...
Love the second time around except it never stopped it really stalled. Shifters and witches who would have thought? You should read the previous books in order to really understand and enjoy this book. Well written, sexy and dramatic.

Wow Elle did nit disappoint!
Leandra and Theo have a love that can withstand magic, battles, evil, and even prejudice. This story was able to bring the New Orleans Shifters history full circle for me.
