In an unspecified not-to-distant future, where medical science has largely eliminated most genetic anomalies, Brad Edwards enjoys the simple life of a retired federal investigator when he is approached by an old mentor about a questionable investigation into a potential treatment for Alzheimer's Disease. As Brad digs deeper into a seemingly endless trail of dead-ends, he uncovers an odd series of events, strange encounters and apparent conspiracies that may or may not be related to his initial investigation. His investigative prowess is tested to its maximum as he uncovers more and more evidence to support his worst fear in the investigation. As events unfold, it becomes increasingly unclear who Brad can trust and just how far those with an interest will go to protect what they know.
