Tess Delacour writes spicy contemporary romance fiction that is sexy and modern, with a generous dose of fun and humor. The characters in her books are friends who live inside her head and come out to play in her novels. She credits a former teacher with addicting her to romance fiction at an early age when Pride and Prejudice was assigned to her high school English class. Once a woman has experienced Mr. Darcy there is no going back. Hooked by the ‘happily ever after’, romance fiction has been a lifelong obsession. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and currently resides in rural Virginia with her family and Toby the wonder dog (a Cairn Terrier with a Napoleon complex).

Tess Delacour's new romantic thriller is darker, more complex than her previous series. A well developed story populated with believable characters, and a thought provoking plotline. The interplay between Laura and Nate is sinfully delightful.
