This book is all about magic. It just is something always am ready to see or read. It wasn't exactly a mission but it was a competition. Trap lost the competition and he spread the news that geronimo his cousin would make big ben disappear which i thought was quite crazy but geronimo did it anyway.there was villain and it was mystery mouse. mystery mouse is really evil and she came to win the money more like steal.my favourite character in this book is Trao as he is the prankster type of guy and l also felt bad that trap's magic trick was revealed. My favourite part was when geronimo made big ben disappear as it was so funny as the police went on giving tickets to geronimo but luckily he made it reappear. i know the trick but a true magician never reveals his secrets.

I came across this book randomly on Libby and decided to read it lol. I forgot how cute these books are! This was a trip down memory lane for me when I used to binge read these books in elementary school lol, although this one I hadn't read before. The graphics in this were also really nice - I also loved that the author included little history facts about the places in London Geronimo was visiting on his trip (little me would have loved that). Might read more in the future for the nostalgia.

Grade: 2-4
Genre: Fiction
Review: The Geronimo Stilton series is one I was recently introduced to by the 1st grader I nanny. He is at a reading level far beyond his grade, but still has some challenges reading this book; I think he just loves the silliness of it, and I typically end up reading aloud to him. This book is great for teaching fluency and expression, as it includes dialogue and many expressive features. The print is large enough for students to read comfortably, and the vocabulary is just right for these primary to intermediate grades.

Plot:
Geronimo is a newspaper delivering mouse in a New York City-like environment. Geronimo is always getting into all kinds of adventures- there are 60+ books in the series! In this edition, he is assigned to the task of protecting the crown jewels in London. He and his trusty friend, Trap, travel across the pond to solve some mysteries and perform some exciting magic in the process!

Cute concept for a children's book - lots of illustrations, word art, short chapters, and a plot that was easy (a little too easy?) to follow. For this particular mystery, I (along with my 8-year-old daughter) felt like the clues were a bit too obvious, making our hero, Geronimo Stilton, appear to be something of a nincompoop for taking so long to figure it out. Oh well. My daughter loves this series and it was sweet to read one of them with her (but I don't think I'll choose another to read any time soon!)

Geronimo Stilton and his cousin Trap were travelling to England for two reasons, the first one is that Trap wants to attend the worlds hardest magician contest and geronimo as told to investigate by Agent 000.One thing which Geronimo discovered that someone had their paws on the crown jewels! And before he could solve his mystery,Trap needed his help to perform an impossible magic trick.Could Geronimo do it all?

Amazon kept recommending this book to me every time I finished one so I decided I had to read it haha. I'm actually really glad I did because it reminded me that the Geronimo Stilton books are the absolute best books for young readers and I can't *wait* to introduce my son to these in a few years. Honestly, I wish I could experience the joy of finding a new Geronimo Stilton book in the library again, I don't think I've felt that alive since I outgrew this series 😂

A goofy little story but still very fun. Even though it is number 64 of the Geronimo Stilton books, it stands alone well with minimal throw-backs to previous books. This will make a great addition to my classroom library and I will definitely be purchasing more of this series.

Geronimo took a vacation at London. But his cousin, Trap is coming because he had to show the tricks. But, he was cheating! He said Geronimo can show the best trick on tomorrow. Geronimo had no idea what to do!

A little too obvious of a plot, and unfortunately not enough closure for the discerning reader.

Great book

I love OOG books and the spacemice, cavemice and normal books. They are just breathtaking and exciting. They are amazing.

I think trap is mean and selfish at the end, as if he is ever is nice or selfless. But I thought it was a good book altogether.

While this was easy to read and mostly enjoyable, the ending fell a bit flat and the constant mouse and cheese puns became repetitive.

Geronimo Stilton goes to London to solve the mystery of the insulting lions in Trafalgar Square…and manages to solve it thanks to his cousin Trap’s obsession with winning a magician contest. Many many years had passed since the last time I read a Geronimo Stilton book and I had forgotten how wonderful the cast and illustrations in this series are. The plot is rather simplistic, but it’s a children’s book after all.

this book was really good but if trap involves with the mystery then i would rather give it a bad report but mostly the book was good i wish they made a movie out of this but the book was entertaining i knew the theif until i saw him and i can not believe that geronimo did nor reconize him and thought that was dumb.

All of these books have convinced me that I want to travel the world some day. I want to see all of these places that I’ve been reading about. If you get nothing else out of these books, at least they spark your sense of adventure!
