I have been waiting for this book for over two years and I was thrilled to finally get my hands on it. The Hunted absolutely did not disappoint! It was totally worth the wait. It’s sexy, twisted, and suspenseful. My heart was pounding out of my chest the entire time. It’s dark, depraved, and oh so perfect. I was delightfully surprised just how dark it is.
Knox Bane is hot af. He’s deadly, he’s scary, but he is also protective, sweet, and maybe slightly obsessed with Raven... in, you know, like, the best way. I could not get enough of how he is with her. He is so broken and the way she comforts him is so beautiful. They are so perfect. Gah!!
The Hunted is a wild ride from start to finish. If you like dark reads, you absolutely need to check this one out! I highly recommend this book! I can’t wait to get more of this series. All the side characters are so intriguing. There’s tons of potential there!!

Another story that’s been in my library for a while now.
And since the second book,The Deceived,is out,i decided to tick this box before thinking of reading that one.
Christy set the stage in a good way,the players were likeable,and the suspense was built in a good pace.
Overall,it was a good story….apart from a few key details,and that’s my reason for the 2 stars.
Raven needs to find her sister Scarlett,and she thinks she knows where she is.
So,she signs up for a year at Hale Manor and has to follow the rules.
Obey the members,and be the Prey to be caught in a Hunt a number of times.
Knox is the one in charge,and after he returns from a business trip,he notices her.
Her behaviour doesn’t add up to a girl that signed up to earn a good sum of money,and he starts digging into her background.
After he’s caught her in her second Hunt,they have a memorable night together.
Raven starts to trust Knox,and admits why she’s at the manor.
He promises to do everything in his power to find her sister….and tells her about his past.
About his father,and why he hates him with a vengeance.
Shortly after,his father returns and takes Raven…..
As i said,the story was likeable.
The issues i had were with the timeframe,and how someone behaves after they were at death’s door.
The story unfolds in a very short period of time,but the instant trust Raven has in the man running the same place she felt responsible for her sister’s disappearance felt a bit ….off.
Another of those men,Lazz,treats her….poorly….and she warms up to him when he does one good thing.
Is this girl so naïve,so in need of love,or what??
And Knox…let’s focus on one thing,him getting shot.
He takes a bullet near to the heart,is saved in the nick of time,and after a week,he wakes up and wants to have sex?
That sounds like a very speedy recovery….right?
Maybe it’s me,i’m not sure,but i was a little disappointed.
And i’m not sure i’ll read the next one.

Woah!!!!! This book was hot as FUCK and sooooo intense! I want to be claimed by Knox; he is dark and dangerous, but I just loved how he set his sights on Raven and didn’t stop until she was his (a little bit stalkerish, yeah, but he was so lush!) The last book I read by Christy Anderson, was a romantic comedy, and THE HUNTED could not have been more different, but it just shows her diversity as an author. She writes so well, and is incredible at setting the scene and making you feel like you are right there - I could feel my heart racing when Raven was in the woods being “hunted”by Knox, it all seemed so real.
I cant wait to see what Christy comes up with next, but if I get a say (which I clearly don’t...but let me have this for a second) I would love Ace to have a book. That man really intrigued me, so would love to find out more about him.

Had me hooked within paragraphs!
Packed with sexy intrigue & tasty mind fuckery, I expected a dark and intense read and got it in spades.
The good guys are bad, the bad guys are horrid & the baddest of them all are revolting - just the way they should be in this genre.
The Hunted is cleverly multi-layered in set-up & delivery, giving you just enough with each reveal to keep you flipping pages & craving more.
I already want the stories of (at a minimum) 4 of the supporting characters - one of whom I’m fairly certain now I think about it, we know very little about...🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😆

O.K.
I was looking for something a little different and found this book. I found the plot intriguing but everything happened too fast. If everything had been developed more this could easily have been a 4 or 5 star read. Instead, it was a 2.5 for me. Without development I couldn't fully connect or believe in the romance portion. The suspense/action pieces were good, though a tremendous amount of suspension of disbelief is needed. I think that those looking for a quick erotic story with a bit of action would enjoy this.

Omg this had me in its grip before I read a word! This is intense but it’s like Pringles once you start you can’t stop.
Knox Bane is a dark, twisted man broken in many ways from his past, that is until he spots Raven in his manor she doesn’t belong in his world of depravity and evil but there is no way he can stay away from her. With her he feels a need to protect and this is where you see the real Knox, you get to see beyond the trained assassin to what is beneath the surface and now he has to make Raven apart of his world. No matter the cost he will have her, he will protect her and most of all he will love her.
Raven entered the manor in the hope of finding a lead on her missing younger sister. She was aware of the whispers surrounding the great house but knowing is a lot different to seeing. Trying to make herself invisible and fading into the background isn’t getting her where she needs to be. She finds herself being prey as she is hunted through the forest by the rich men paying to find her and take her as they want, when she’s caught well and truly by Knox Bane, there is chemistry from pretty much the moment he touches her. This man changes her life in ways she never expected, sucked in to the world of paid hitmen and many other horrors could he be her knight and help her with her mission? Or will she lose both her sister and her heart too?
If you are looking for a dark, intense, thrilling book which also has so much heat between the pages then look no further this book is so the book for you! Definitely a five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read more if I could! After reading teasers for this book for over a year it was so worth the wait. Can’t wait for more from this talented author.

Seriously? How hot is Knox Bane??? This isn't your typical love story. There's dark elements and there's tragic elements but there's also a connection of love that shows no bounds. For Knox to grow up in the world he was given, it's amazing he was able to have any sort of normal relationship at all. I'm kidding, it's not normal. There's nothing remotely normal about this love story but it sucks you in from the beginning and doesn't let go until the very end. I can't wait to see what happens in the rest of this series. PS.... I hope Ace and Lazz get their own books *fingers crossed*

This book, what can I say about this book?
This book is AMAZING!
It was hot, it was cold and everything in between. Honestly, I couldnt put it down and there were times it threw me for a loop... and I loved it!
This book is sexy and makes you feel on edge at the same time and not many books can do that. I LOVE this book. It drives right in and just grabs hold and won't let go.
You will not be disappointed in this book, I promise. If you're into dark angsty mature content then 20/10 would recommend. Give it a read and you'll see what I mean.
Hopefully you'll love it just as much as I do.

What a journey! Wow.
I've been waiting for so long to read this story and it's finally here; I still can't believe it.
Raven's quest lands her straight into the middle of Knox's domains and now, she's got his attention.
And she's pretty confident that's far from a good thing.
Knox knows that too but, for some reason, he just can't seem to stay away.
And so it begins.
Just believe when I tell you: you will not want to miss a single second of this emotional roller coaster.
I wish I could give away more than that, but then I'd have to kill you.
Just kidding. But it's that I'd threading in spoiler territory and then it would be YOU wanting to kill ME.
So let us leave the killing for the qualified ones and just revel in what can only be described as one of the best, darkest, most powerful and suspenseful stories I've read all year. Maybe ever. It's perfect.
I can't wait for the next books and to read more about the men from this world.

This is the first time I’ve read one of Christy’s books, the cover alone sucked me in I needed to know what was behind the cover.
Knox- a hunter who stalks his prey, but the prey he’s looking at has some hidden agendas and that’s something he’s ready to find out the answers too.
Raven- a broken heart and someone willing to do whatever it takes, regardless of what the consequences are to her!
I enjoyed reading The Hunted it had a little different spin on it which I liked.
There is something’s that’s been waiting for a long time to surface but who will be caught in the crossfire?
I really liked Ace the supporting character we got to see a glimpse of him but he didn’t show too much I would like to read more about him.

I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately it wasn’t what I thought it was. The preview sucked me in immediately, but after the first chapter or two, it wasn’t for me.
What fun is Hunting if you don’t toy with your prey?
Knox Bane is over protective, hot as hell, and a SMART love interest who can read through the lines. How awesome is that for a change? He’s the Hunter and he knows his prey is hiding something.
To find my sister. I’ll do anything I have to for her.
Raven Wyatt signed away a year of her life just to find some answers, but she doesn’t really know what she signed up for. She gets chosen for The Hunt and, while terrifying, she doesn’t understand why she’s intrigued with this different world. And with someone dangerous, like Knox.
My feet once again transport me through the grounds, but unlike last time, the prize is my life.
Raven frustrated me a lot. She was passive and scared for most of the book until the end when she suddenly had strength that wasn’t there before. All the events of the book happen in a matter of days, so the characters go from strangers to love struck in a chapter or two. It’s a lot to take in all at once. But the love scenes… hot, hot, hot!

Luckily for her, the hunter is Knox Bane. He’s a powerful man and he wants Raven. Not only does he capture her, he’s the man that can help her find her sister. In the process, she finds so much more.
This story will keep you intrigued and heat up your kindle. The supporting characters, Lazz and Ace, have their own stories to tell. I can’t wait to get to know them better in the future. There is so much more story to tell and vengeance to be sought. This was only the beginning. I’m looking forward to MORE!

First book by this author I have read and although some of it was a little rough overall the writing was good and the storyline was definitely good would have liked a little more development of the characters so I could have connected more but I will seriously be giving her another shot

To me there is nothing better than an H & h with instant chemistry. I love the connection you can feel between the two that pulls you into the story and is one of my most anticipated parts of any great book. Knox and Raven had that from the beginning and it grew splendidly from there.
He was an alpha with a growing obsession and she was on a mission. When the two got together it made for a fantastic read. I was definitely cheering for the Hunter to catch his Prey.
There's heat, suspense, and hopefully we will see a few side characters get their own stories. Fingers crossed!

Dark and beautiful are two words I would use to describe this incredible read ! This book is dark, full of suspense and super hot steamy scenes ... A beautiful broken man who seen more as a child than any adult ever should. A woman determined to go to any lengths to find her sister. Even if that means giving up all that she’s known her entire life. Knox and Raven are amazing.... The chemistry is so hot even when she’s scared and knows she shouldn’t be attracted to this man. He wants to make her his, but he knows the life he leads isn’t meant for someone like her. But one taste is all it took and be cant give her up. Raven will do anything to find information to lead her to her sister . Even if that means giving her body to this man. She brings out his weaknesses and in his line of work that’s never a good thing. He brings out her strengths and makes her realize nothing she’s ever had before has been real. It’s dark, there is lots of blood shed, tho it does not go into gruesome details. There is mild bdsm , well mild to me . So if that’s not your thing... I can’t wait for more !!!

This was exactly what I needed in my life right now.
Raven is such an awesome female lead, she makes me proud to be a woman. Her strength and love for her family was inspiration.
Know..well I don’t even know where to start with this man, he was my perfect man in every way possible! He’s the alpha male that makes your panties melt and your ovaries explode.
I don’t ever do spoilers but what I will tell you is that you should not be put off by the first few chapters, yes there are some darker elements to this story but it has the most amazing love story attached to it!! I look forward to seeing what else Christy has in store for us with this series!!

The Hunted is a brilliant new, full length mystery romance; filled with passion, heat, twists and turns. The reader is absorbed into the story with sexual expression, insta lust, dark romance, an emotional roller-coaster. While this might be considered a dark read, I though it was well balanced between dark issues and hot passion.
Knox and Raven or (Hunter and Prey if you prefer), are thrown together in this story. Raven is at Hale Manor to find information on her missing sister, Scarlett, who has been missing 8 months. In order to find out information she must sign a one year contract, to prostitute for depraved rich men. Nothing is off limits as long as consensual.
She meets Knox here, he owns the club; and soon finds out she is in over her head and Knox just might be what see needs to get answers. Knox is a surprising character. His obsession with Raven is more then it seems.
With time running along, passions high, and secrets entangled upon each other, the two find themselves drawn both to each other and to the mysteries of the story.

I highly recommend this story to everyone. It was an amazing ride. I had the extreme pleasure of reading this ARC and I am leaving an honest review. It is a must read and will be added to my favorites list!

*Knox can Hunt me any time!*
Welp this book hit the floor running and didn't let you go till the end! And I loved every minute of it. This is not your typical roses and fluff type of romance. We have secretes, some super hot alpha males, a heavy dose of naughty, and Knox! I'm ALL about Knox. He is so swoony but he would punch you in the throat for even thinking that about him. He's my favorite type of book bf! I'm awful at summarizing plots because I usually give everything away so I wont even try it. This book is meant to go into blind but trust me you will enjoy every page. And when you get to that freaking awesome epilogue all you'll be thinking is "Give me more of them hot men!" I can't wait to see what Christy has in store for these characters next.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for this dark and twisty read from Anderson and it did not disappoint! This story was a suspense ride start to finish. Well developed and unique, it leaves readers with a sense of what’s to come in future installments. Now to wait for more of these characters!

Five Blown Away Stars!
The Hunted grabbed my attention and refused to let go. I was hooked from the prologue. If you love a dark, suspenseful romance then this is your book. There's lots of twists and turns and smoking hot encounters. Knox Bane is the book boyfriend you've been waiting for. The Hunted had it all, and I enjoyed every single page!

Intense
That's one of the best words I can come up with to describe this book. It gripped you from the beginning and didn't let go until that last words were read. Knox...good Lord where do I begin. Dangerous, sexy, strong, broken...I could go on and on and when you add all that up, you get "Well hello there you delicious book boyfriend!!"
I'm excited to see where Anderson will take us next!! Way to go girl!!

This is a strange romance, but romantic nonetheless, as the characters face challenging times and find a reason to continue because of another person.
