Since reading this, my first, Elle Mesen book earlier this year I have devoured all but two of the author’s other works, and in my opinion this is the pinnacle of all those that I have read to date. “Summoned to the Sissy Farm” is an intelligent, intoxicating, and occasionally humorous chronicle, with writing that really stimulates your mind as well as other regions of your anatomy! I was unable to put the book down from start to finish, have now read it twice in its entirety, and consumed numerous acts multiple times over (the image portrayed up by the masterful description of the feeding bowl, for example, is burned stronger into my retina than any photograph or video could achieve). The author periodically interrupts the narrative to interject her own lucid viewpoints on matters relating to the reader’s self-improvement. Her cogent arguments are decisive and conclusive - you are left in no doubt you could not win an argument against such a superior intellect! However, beware; the book will mine the deepest recesses of your mind and unearth the darkest of your most depraved desires – desires that undoubtedly lie deeply buried for good reason. I actually had trouble sleeping after first contact with the book and even now, many months after initial reading, some of the passages still perturb my thought patterns. If you are in the market for this genre of literature and are contemplating buying an Elle Mesen book, make sure you read this one first. As the title suggests, it’s hypnotic; you will be the author’s chattel long before the end of Chapter 1 and a confirmed feminist by Chapter 5. Hinako!

The book description warns that it is over-the-top, and it is. Normally I wouldn't rate a book this highly that contains so many gnarly scenarios, but the author really is spell-binding. Usually with books in this genre the reader is wishing "yes", or hoping that something similar would happen to them. In this case I kept finding myself saying, "no", or oh, please don't go there. But, no matter how much I would cringe, or involuntarily avert my eyes from the words, I had to keep reading. I like her conversational approach to writing, and definitely look forward to more from Elle Mesen in the future.
