“To gain something substantial, you need to sacrifice something of equal worth.”
As Bla’Gar rushes to save his beloved pet, the possibility of a grim future might be waiting for him. Will he be forced to repeat the mistakes of the past...again, or will he be allowed to make another choice… Exchange one eternity for another Hell?
Jessy can’t foresee a world without Raven. In a time when enforcers like him are the very fibers that hold together the future of this new world, she will do everything in her power to help save him. But there will be a cost… There is always a cost.
As Seth struggles within his own personal Hades, the mate he always wanted, but felt he never truly deserves, comes to save him. But the darkness is vacuous and beautiful at the same time, and it might just be the end of all of them… If the Beast doesn't get what he came for.
Raven is lost to all now, fading out of existence, yet Death may be his only salvation.
Some actions speak louder than words, and some will be immortalized forever. Some wars are never won, they are simply...forgotten.
What if you had one chance? One opportunity to change the past? What would you be willing to sacrifice for it?
They come to me in the night, creeping into my head. Their voices are all different, their stories all dissimilar, but they keep saying the same thing...
“Show us, tell us to the world. Bring us into yours, and make us known.”
Then I sit and they take over. They tell their tales of love, loss and sinister misfortune, not all of them get a happy ending, but they are pleased when their part is written.
I sometimes find myself lost in my own mind; a world very similar to our own yet so different. Things don't go bump in the night—they squeal, and crawl under your skin, making you grind your teeth, and your stomach turn over and put your nerves on edge. Then there's the drama. Oh, the drama!
I write because I must! There is so much inside of me that needs to get out. So many stories to tell, characters that want to be heard, and hearts lost and won. Words and art are my way of bringing my world to others. I enjoy telling tales of the human condition but working in elements of the supernatural. Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies, Witches and the unexplainable all set against the human world or worlds of their own.
I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, grew up in a working class family and enjoy writing, cooking and spending my husband's money! Yeah I’m a cocky little brat too :) (and proud of it, spankings included.)
Gah! The ending of the first season brought everything together and, yet, turned it all upside down at the same time. I want to say it wasn't as dark as the previous installments, but that's not quite right. I think it gave more hope. As another reviewer wrote, "it ended how it had to end," and I think that is the best way to put it. I loved it. And I have to say, Mr. Godgluck certainly has a way of making the reader want to come back for more. I can't wait to read the next season...
I can think of one word for this season finale: unexpected. Of course I should have known better and don’t be surprised, cause the author is one of the few able to make me love stories so dark and full of twist. Stories I would have never enjoyed if he didn’t write characters who are impossible to not like.
As I already said in the reviews of the A Tooth Claw and Horns Chronicle series , the series is not for everyone, it’s violent and often too hard to take. Plus it needs to be read in order, so if you haven’t done yet, pick the first one, it’s still free.
Back to Neon White E5: Episode Five, I have to admit I divoured this book in a couple of hours and I had to start it again the day after, cause I was so overwhelmed by everything happened, I was a little confused and wanted to give it a second try. And it was better then the first time.
I really don’t feel to talk about the plot cause I don’t want to spoil a series so rich in characters, events and unbelievable endings. And in my opinion the book ended in the perfect way ever because it gave the series a very deserved closure, exactly where everything started, back at the origins with my loved Raven and Chetlér. I was on the edge through all the book and the ending was balm for my soul. At the same time it saddened me, knowing I won’t meet them again but the author left open so many routes to follow in a coming (soon I hope) new season. I can’t wait for more.
I want to highly recommend the whole series, if you’re looking for something different, quick and startling you want to read Neon White Episodes by Wulf Francu Godgluck. To me it was a huge success. Really well done, Wulf!
The cover art by Wulf Francu Godgluck follows the style of the whole series and it’s well done and different from the usual.

Here we are with what could most accurately, in my opinion, be called the Season Finale of Wulf Francú Godgluck’s Neon White Series. I’ve really enjoyed the author’s style in writing this series. It has consistently been pretty harsh, fairly raw, and totally untamed. No sweet syrupy romance here, so if that is what you’re looking for, move along.
I’m going to be a little different on this one. I’m not going to give you a lot of information on the story since this last Episode is only 75 pages and it would be easy to do spoilers. Suffice it to say that we’re back with Bla’Gar and Raven White, as well as the other characters we’ve met along the way through the series. The story begins immediately after the end of Episode Four and this is the final Episode as I mentioned above.
I’m going to do something else I’ve never done before. I’m going to be really, really honest and tell you that on the first quick read through this book, I didn’t like the end…like, at all. I even kind of hated it. So I decided to give it a couple weeks, and then go back and give it a re-read. I went back and re-read it this morning, and I’ve now got to admit it ended kind of how it had to end. Once I slowed down and didn’t speed read, like I always tend to do when I am greedily reaching the end, I found the kernels of good in the ending and realized the way things worked out was necessary to tie out the story, and to also leave the way open for the follow up “Season” that the author has already teased us with. Seriously, upon reflection, I can’t see any other way it could have ended, although I still don’t like the Bla’Gar plot twist, and I think you’ll understand why when you read it.
That fairly large plot twist is what got me hung up the first time through. I love that this author can instill such different feelings in me depending on what I guess was my own mood while reading it. Last time I was in a great mood, all sunshine and light, and I didn’t like it. This time I was in a grumpy ass mood over some stupid social media issue, and I loved the ending. Go figure. I’m not going to tell you what mood to be in when reading it, because that will depend on you!
In conclusion, I very highly recommend the Neon White series, and I’m going to rate this final installment as a 4.5 on our scale, meaning that I “loved it” partially because of the two totally different viewpoints I had of the end of the story by re-reading it, and partially because I just really, really liked this series! Masterful job Mr. Godgluck. You definitely know how to manipulate my feelings!
One note, it is imperative that the Episodes be read in order, as they wouldn’t make sense as standalones. For those of you who haven’t been following along in the series, and need to start at the beginning, the author has also just released Neon White Season One: A Tooth, Claw and Horns Chronicle, which is all five installments in one book.
I was looking for a bit more for this final episode. BUT I did love how the book ended. I still have so many questions to ask. What would happen IF Raven and Bla'Gar meet again? Why would Seth and Lucas be doomed? Hopefully Wulf will elaborate more with the next installment.
Wulf Godgluck leads the reader into deeper, darker places in this final episode and proceeds with a thorough autopsy of your existence, but forget about the careful precision of the typical death procedure, expect to see your entrails splattered everywhere before he's finished with you. Breaking all assumptions for tales of love, this author isn't satisfied unless he leaves you eviscerated and completely altered from the innocent who first ventured to his world. Heed the warnings, human, and turn back before it's too late!
