Seven years ago, Gash was sent to prison on false rape and murder charges. He put the club first, but now it’s time for him to get his revenge. There’s one woman from his past who may have all the Charlotte. But is she also to blame for his imprisonment?
From the first moment Charlotte saw Gash, she fell in love with him. He was a hardened biker, but she saw something inside him that touched her heart. Now time has damaged both of them, and neither is the same. As they dig deeper into the past, Gash realizes Charlotte is not guilty and was hurt, too, by his enemies. Revenge matters even more now, for her sake, and now that Charlotte is in his life, he’s not going to let her go.
When their enemy’s identity is revealed, will Gash risk Charlotte’s life, or will he let Master go to protect the woman he loves?
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
I was disappointed with this instalment of the Skulls MC series. I had high hopes for Gash’s book, but they fell short because of the constant repetition of thoughts from the characters. It seemed like the author was using the same thoughts as filler for the story, instead of keeping scenes fresh and exciting. I found I became emotionally unattached to Gash and Charlotte because I had heard way too many times that they loved each other and wanted to spend their lives together. There was also a lot of Gash pushing her against the wall and “slamming his lips on her” for a kiss! Be nice to have him do that once, but after the twentieth time; it lost it’s magic!
The scenes I did enjoy were when all the Skulls and their families were together. There is a lot of history after 13 books and it’s nice to see and hear about all the characters again! I like how there will be a crossover book of the Skulls series and the Chaos Bleeds series! So I’m now going to catch up on the Chaos Bleeds boys so I can get to Master’s book!
I do hope that the writing gets back to some of the earlier books because I was really enjoying both series so far. Fingers crossed!
Seven years ago Gash and Charlotte spent the night together, she gave him her virginity, and he in turn did not remember their night together.A night that led to consequences beyond their control. He was sent to prison for rape and murder and she went to a mental institution for five years because she tried to commit suicide several times because of a horror that was done to her. Each out of their own type of prision, they meet up again when Gash confronts her in her apartment 2 years later.Charlotte is now a shell of her former self, and Gash a changed man,the only thing that sustained him in prision was the memory of a woman.Gash is hell bent on revenge towards the people who falsely accused him and Charlotte also out for her own piece of revenge. Great story of this couple,I felt their loss and they journey to their hea was well deserved. Master, the evil bastard ,finally revealed himself, and his identity as Gash's long lost brother was a shocker to say the least. I hope that the Skulls and Chaos Bleeds MC takes him out soon,he is a sick sob. Great seeing some of the old crew members and Whizz played a huge part in this book, poor guy,he deserves his happiness with his old lady and Sally. Looking forward to the next in this series which is probably going to be a Chaos Bleed story.
Gash and Charlotte were flawed through and through but that didn't taint what they offered each other...
Gash put his MC first even after serving five years of a false rape and murder sentence until he finds Charlotte to help him put the pieces together for both their worthy revenge against Rebecca and Jeff.
There was pain, angst, love, new discoveries with bouts of mystery/suspense in this highly awaited goodread. Parts fell into place but not all questions were answered about the X.... nope I won't give it away; read it yourself and see!
Woah. This is a revenge drama, and a revelation to a mystery that has been building up for the last twelve books. We have Gash, who is finally out of jail after being falsely accused of rape charges. He meets up with Charlotte, who has her own vendetta and painful secrets. This includes a night of rough sex, amnesia, a forced abortion, multiple suicide attempts and institutionalization. We see them working together to fight the culprits, and have wild sex while falling in love. Book also has updates about Lacey and Whizz and their future happiness with Daisy, the very pregnant Angel and Lash, the sad Sally and Steven and the tragic Spider and Paris. In the last quarter, identity of "Master" is finally revealed, and the book ends in bloodshed and cliffhanger.
I don't know when I'll be ready for the next one but my heart legit sank.
This was an OK read. I mainly liked it because we got to see some of the other Skulls that Ienjoyed from the past. Particularly lots of Whizz, Lacey, Angel and Lash. I really sympathized with the h Charlotte, she went through some pretty tough shiz, but Gash wasn't what I wanted him to be. I didn't really believe his love for her... it felt forced.
Sam Crescent also showed us the kids and some of their maybe love prospects :) She showed Angel and Lash's son Anthony who is 7 and has a crush on a little 6 year old that Lacey adopts.. it was so adorable how he always comforted and protected her, I see a future virgin couple coming up!
I will read the next book because I'm super interested to see what happens with all this Master drama. Plus this had a major cliffy.
ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review
This is the story that I have been waiting for since Gash came out of prison.
My Gash: So, Gash went to prison because he was falsely accused of murder and rape! So all he could think about in prison was getting revenge. And he needed Charlotte to help him find the people responsible.
My Charlotte: (Maybe)
Charlotte has always been in love with Gash and they had their one night together just before everything went to Hell! However Gash was drunk and he can't remember who the women is that he can't stop dreaming and thinking about.
Did you remember her?. Whizz asked. I remembered bits of the night, holding her, feeling her wrapped around me. It's what got me through the worst part of prison. I need to go talk to her.
Charlotte definitely got the worse of this story, as what happened to her was so horrific and terrible that I don't even know how she could function (you have to find out for yourself what happens)
This story started off as a revenge story and ended up with two people finding each other and getting their happily ever after.... (or did they)
Sarcasm makes me horny, Charlotte. You keep on with that smart mouth, and I'll put it to better use. Funny, I thought rape was beneath you, she said. Believe me babe, when I get you underneath me, you wouldn't be screaming rape. You'll be begging me for it
This women had been right underneath his nose the entire time, and he was only now getting a taste. he wasn't going to give her the chance to get away from him. Their past wasn't a great one, but he was going to make sure their future was the best
The ending of this book was so not a good ending, and I guarantee you will want to throw your kindle/book/ipad against the wall. But that just means that we are all waiting in anticipation to see what is going to happen next. But you get to check in with Sally after she came to live with Whizz and Lacey and Baker and Millie and the Chaos Bleed Club... So much drama and drama and drama...
Oh and did I mention that we finally get to see who MASTER is??? HECTIC!!! So for those that follow this series, you have to read it NOW!!!!
Thank you Sam for allowing me to read your book, it was Hectic! And I still love you even with that ENDING!! :-)
Gash is a man on a mission, he was sent to jail on a lie and he wants retribution. Showing up at Charlotte's house, he knows she had a part in his jail time and he wants answers. Gash couldn't be farther from the truth though and the Charlotte he once knew is now a shell of her former self. Gash wants to know why, but Charlotte doesn't want to go there with him. She wants revenge as well to the people who hurt her, but in doing so she will have to work with Gash. Can she be close to the man who once broke her heart and didn't even know it?
Another fantastic read by Sam Crescent. This was a different story as it had a lot to do with the man who has been acting against the club. Pieces of the puzzle begin to come together. Anxious to read the next book, can't wait.
I enjoyed this book from the beginning and especially to the end, I did dislike Gash from the previous books especially at the end of the last book in this series when he confronted Charlotte and Charlotte made my heart break in this book especially when her backstory got told about how she lost their baby and Gash I did warm up to despite his past with Charlotte and her flatmate. I liked both of their backstories and how Charlotte became more stronger and how she wanted revenge on the same people that Gash wanted revenge on, I liked how all the characters from the previous books were in it and that they all had big parts in this book, I did guess who Master was throughout the book so I wasn't shocked and I can't wait until he eventually gets his comeuppance and I couldn't believe the ending it ended on such a cliffhanger and now I want to read the rest.
I thought I'd hate Gash where all he wanted was revenge but I've got to admit I actually fell in love with him. Gash and Charlotte are the perfect couple. I can't wait to read the next one in the series. Sam Cresent is an amazing author and I would recommend any of her books to read
Definitely a better add to the series. I really enjoyed Charlotte and her story with Gash. It was a nice improvement from the last few entries in the series.
I feel like I waited forever for this story. I was excited and scared at the same time. Scared what will be waiting for me on this ride. And let me tell you, I was blown away.
I loved Gash. I always did, through previous books. But in his own story, I saw all side of him. And I loved every one of them. Gash is on the top of my all fav book boyfriends.
Charlotte... I had double feelings about her. I admire her and my heart ache for her. But at the same time I'm a little disappointed in her. Don't get me wrong she is strong in her own way. But I just didn't liked how she reacted in some moments in the past and present. But I guess this comes to the part, that we all are individuals and are reacting differently at the same situations.
The story itself... Just wow. I was hooked. I would say it was the best in the series, but hell, all those books are amazing.
The Master thing. I don't know for how much I could keep it in and just one day not to let loose of the leash. He's playing with my last nerve. I hope The Skulls and Chaos Bleeds soon will play their own game with the little shit.
For those who needs to know if this story having a HEA. It does. And at the same time it doesn't. Lol. Confusing, right? Well, you will have to jump on the bike and find out on your own. You will not be sorry.
Sam Crescent is one of my favorite authors, I pretty much will read anything written by her.
Gash was set up and spent 7 years in jail for something he didn't do, now he is out for revenge. He is looking for the people who set him up and he finds Charlotte thinking she may have been part of the set up. Little does he know Charlotte was also a victim in this story. I really like Gash and Charlotte's story. Again another great additions to The Skull series.
First, I must say I hate cliffhangers. I think that when a book ends it should end. This being said this book has a cliffhanger. The bad part it was cliffhanger. The good part it wasn't like I fell off a cliff and couldn't recover from it. The characters were good. I think at some parts I wanted to yell "shut up" and at other points I thought it dragged out too much. I still liked the book and will continue to read though. So that says something, right?!
Gash has a plan for revenge....but things don't go quite as planned. You will really feel for Charlotte....and we find out who Master is. Love seeing the Skulls
Gash - The Skulls MC Series - Book 13 - By - Sam Crescent
Gash is the thirteenth book in the amazing Skulls MC series and I absolutely loved him. He is one of my favourite brothers of the club and series and I am thrilled that we are finally getting his story. Gash has had it tough, not just from club life but from being targeted and set up seven years ago for a rape and murder that he did not commit. He was sentenced to prison even though he was innocent. When he was released he did as Tiny asked, he put the club first and waited for his revenge but now he's time has come. His first lead is Charlotte Bilson who means more to him than he realises and has endured something so despicable, no one should ever have to experience. Charlotte is the roommate of the woman Gash was previously seeing and who falsely accused him of rape. Rebecca Charleston and Jeff Wright destroyed both Gash and Charlotte seven years ago now they are going to join forces to exact their revenge and to learn some truths about each other along the way. Gash was everything I wanted, he is alpha, bad a$$ but has a tenderness with Charlotte I wasn't expecting, they had seven years stolen and so much lost time to make up for. They both have scars inside and out, but their connection is undeniable, they share a pain and love in equal measure, but also hope, hope of a future that they both so desperately deserve. Although before all of this Master the enemy of the Chaos Bleeds MC is making himself known to the Skulls and through his malice will hopefully restore the bond between both of our beloved clubs. Chaos Bleeds are in trouble and need help and protection fir their women and children, I am hopeful bridges will now be built and together they can destroy this new enemy. It was great seeing more of Lash, my other favourite, in charge and guiding his brothers and the club but also his tenderness with Angel, melts me everytime. It was great seeing more of Whizz and Lacey ahd their playful banter and how they helped with Gash and Charlotte. We see a little more of Stink and Sandy so hopefully they are growing closer together. Sally is so sweet her fears for her future with her crush on Steven, lots to look forward to their for sure.Daisy is just precious and will melt your heart. I adore how Lash and Angel's son Anthony is with her. Next Generation love on the cards already, so much to look forward to. Baker and Millie had me howling I can't wait to see more of them together. We also have an update on Spider, still so much to come and yet discover. This series continues to deliver time and time again, constant surprises, twists and turns, high heat with love, the brotherhood and family being what sets these series apart. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. I love The Skulls MC Series and Chaos Bleeds MC series they are my favourites to read and re - read. I truly hope that you give them a chance, you won't be disappointed. I do suggest reading them all in order to fully appreciate the characters as they each grow and develop and ongoing storylines continue to develop as each book comes along. Magic stuff. Happy Reading. 5 out of 5 stars.
It started off dark. About seeking revenge. Then it became a super fast insta-love happy-thon. It was all about them missing out on time and each other but still being so in love. Then it ended dark and back to vengeance again.
The author went back to having a “super villain”, for lack of a better word, theme again. Her villains are so stupid and lack true depth of imagination I can only roll my eyes at their antics and start skipping pages. Why all of them are after the MC’s are beyond my understanding. These MC’s are TSTL from what each book has shown me so far.
AND the author did another intertwined storyline with the other series “Chaos Bleeds”, again. I HATE THAT!! It’s okay if there are guest appearances in each other’s series but if I have to jump back and forth between them just to keep up with a subplot then I’m not interested. I want to read one series straight through and ONLY then read the other.
Having said that, the romance between the two leads was okay. The developing relationships of Steven and Sally, Anthony and Daisy, Simon and Tabitha are too cute. I do have to say that Lash and Angel have truly grown on me since their first book. They have almost a dream relationship.
Gash lost it all when he was put in prison for a rape and murder he didn't commit. Five years of his life is gone and he is out for revenge on who set him up. Charlotte fell in love with Gash when she first saw him but he was screwing around with her roommate. One drunken night the hook up but by morning he has no clue since he was to drunk to remember. Gash goes to prison and Charlotte goes crazy. After the torture she is put through by the same people who helped frame Gash. Seven years later and Gash is ready to hunt them down, but first he has to find Charlotte so that she can help him. Gash finds out that he wasn't the only one that suffered from their hands and he finally lets Charlotte know how he has felt about her. Really enjoyed Gash's story. Can't wait for him to finally get his revenge on who framed him.
I don't understand making these Novellas with as many people there are to cover in this series. We got to see a couple of days with Gash and Charlotte I was so disappointed. And then the fact that it seems Butch has all but been forgotten. Now, Alex I would just as soon forget but not Butch. And the names were Jacked up at times. Tiny was Tony, Brianna was Bianca This editor is just off. We have been through Matthew becoming Michael when Micael was Kelsey's ex. It took them until Andrew showed himself to Gash before they figured out he was Gash's brother. With the fact he was after Gash I got it right away. And Charlotte and Gash fell into each others arms way to fast considering he was wanting to kill her when he first found her. This book could be so much more.
Absolutely love Gash... oh so sexy. Charlotte is his leading lady. Gash only wants revenge for his five years in prison and he is going to get it. Charlotte has been to hell and back. When Charlotte and Gash meet again sparks will fly. Crescent relives Masters true identity to us and things are going to get interesting. This story does end on a Cliffhanger so be prepared it will be bring you to tears. Happy Reading!!!
After being locked away in prison for crimes he didn't commit Gash is looking for revenge. Charlotte is the starting point for his revenge. That is until he finds her and has a connection he cannot explain with her. Then finding out what has truly happened to her and them, he is forever changed. So are the club's after the Master is through with them.
For a few books now, we have seen Gash wanting to get revenge, and in his book he finally has the chance. Only, he doesn't find the woman that accused him or rape, he finds the woman he was crushing on and that he thought was going to help him, but disappeared when he needed her. He gets angry at her, but it turns out that she has a few things to settle with the woman that accused him of rape, and needs some revenge of her own, so they decide to work together.
As always, a lot of misunderstandings, secrets, and drama made what could have been a nice life, a living hell for both of them. They have a lot of issues to work on, and as time pass Gash realizes that he wasn't the only one hurt during all of this.
Noooo.... That damn Master. Now that his identity is revealed, can he please get what's coming to him? I think EVERYONE should get a chance to brand him, at least one time! Grr... Anyways, enough of him.
Let's talk about Gash & Charlotte! So, so happy that they were able to work everything out & work through, not all, but a lot of the pain from their past. Thrilled that Jeff & Rebecca got what they deserved! I'm not completely sold on Gash's declaration that Charlotte has always been the one he's been thinking about when screwing wh*res (or at least Rebecca) but it was still super sweet. It's always fun to see a burly, bad-a** biker fall deep in love.
Baker & Millie- Very excited to get more on this cutie couple! Their story is going to be so good!!
Steven & Sally- Now, this development is interesting. Lash's advice to Steven, what he thinks is going to happen & Sally's thoughts on the situation are definitely sounding like a future Skulls book.
Sandy & Stink- Probably the one book I'm least looking forward to, as I'm not a Sandy fan. LOVED when Rose told her to, "Stop being an insecure b*tch, and go and get him." Sandy has dished out plenty of sh*t sort of "pep talks" to past heroines so her chat with Rose was awesome.
The Skulls & Chaos Bleeds kids- Things are totally set in motion for a future series for these boys & girls. Daisy, Anthony, Tabitha, Simon... I see many headaches coming on for the dads!
That ending... Good gods! If ANYTHING bad happens to Angel... I. Will. Riot.
