I've written fanfic and made vids in a really ridiculous number of fandoms. Over the years, I've also used the pseudonyms shalott and the lady of shalott. All my work is available on the AO3 and you can also find me online in various other places.
You are welcome to add and review any of my stories here if you like, and I also love comments at AO3 or any of my other online haunts. I also have a blanket permission policy for noncommercial transformative work of my work (eg, podfic, remix, fanart, etc) -- I love to be linked to anything you do, but you don't need to ask permission.
Gorgeous story. Harry will do anything to save Hermoine, even catering to Draco's every whim. Because only Draco can help. And then Drarry happened. I loved this story. It made me smile and was very entertaining.
Some Favorite Quotes: "And what's happening to Hermione in the meantime?" Harry said through clenched teeth. "I haven't the faintest idea," Draco said. "Probably she's talking the dead to death all over again."
Harry spent most of the time wondering what he was doing, until it became inescapably clear, and then he could relax because it was too late to change his mind.
Draco was odd and an absolute maniac about his social standing and wasn't anything like heroic, but he had stayed all right, somehow, even with his horrible dad and Voldemort breathing down his neck.
Brilliant. So tightly written and witty. And it is powerful because so much of the writing is invisible, so much is going on between the lines. The impact of the "unwritten text" was enormous and did not leave me for weeks.
“Don’t be stupid, Potter,” Draco said. “I want my reputation back.”
The overall story - Draco was fun, though I do wish the spice was a little more drawn out. I liked how clever the ending was - having Harry realize that Draco didn't come to the event! I had to re-read it to get it myself.
I'll be honest: I'm only rounding this down because I don't approve of relationships where the physical involvement comes before trust and liking, much less love. This is an excellent, original concept, well-executed, and I quite enjoyed the read despite feeling like I shouldn't.
