This volume contains the Stanton trilogy: Book 1: Stanton Adore Book 2: Stanton Unconditional Book 3: Stanton Completely
She’s kryptonite. Sensual, sweet, and as annoyingly perfect as she was when I left 7 years ago. My body remembers the way she felt underneath me, and wants her again. My heart remembers the way she crushed it and wants as far away as possible. But she’s everywhere, haunting me, torturing me, driving me past all logical reason. I need to forget her, move on and get her out of my system, but to do that, I need to have her ... One. Last. Time.
It started as a kiss. We never meant to fall in love. But I was 17 and carefree, And he was 19, beautiful and forbidden. Our families never would have accepted it… And I broke his heart to save his future. Now the boy I loved 7 years ago is the man I can’t have. He’s grown into everything my body craves, my heart demands. and my sense of decency rejects.

Ok, first things first: accidentally, I read Dr. Stanton before, so I already knew how it ends between Joshua and Nathalia. So, I can't explain how did this amazing author manage to hook me for the entire weekend with her book, how she made me hyperventilate, how i slept only 5 hours in 2 days and why i couldn't put it down.
Dear Mr. Christian Grey, after 4 years and almost 500 books, you have finally been replaced as my all time favorite male character! That's something, right? I wish i had more words in my vocabulary to express how truly awesome is this story. How I wish I could write the mother of all reviews for it...
This is one of the most frustratingly-brilliant compulsively-readable series I've read in a long time. Once I started, I found it almost impossible to put down. At times, when I was forced to put it aside, it played on my mind. Always a sign of a great read.
I only came across this series as a reviewer of my book mentioned the similarities, (first cousin romance with a suspenseful side plot) and I had to check it out. I must thank that reviewer for bringing this series to my attention because I became invested very quickly.
Josh and Natasha have the most messed-up dysfunctional relationship ever, but it had me gripped from the very start. I loved that Natasha was a psychologist who knew better but she was powerless under the electric attraction and the deep bond she shared with Joshua. Her education, her experience, and her gut told her she should stay away from him, especially after they continually hurt one another, but the story shows what it's like to be human. Her mind knew the right thing to do was to stay away, but her heart wouldn't let her.
God, I've never wanted to bash two fictional character's heads together as much as I wanted to bash these two, lol. The toing and froing was angsty and over the top dramatic and I freaking loved it. It messed with my head and made mincemeat of my heart but I lapped it up. If you don't like train wreck love stories, with a taboo twist, you should probably give this one a miss.
The romance, chemistry, and sexy times were excellent. This was a scorching hot read and our mains have a sizzling chemistry that is undeniable. I swung between loving and hating both characters as I read, groaning at the double standards, and miscommunication but unable to put it down, like the worst type of addict. This book will seriously mess with your mind and twist your emotions into knots (in a good way.)
I thought the character and plot development were excellent. I guessed who was messing with them, but it was still very well done. With so many enemies, it did keep me guessing. The writing gets better with each book, and it flows at a fast pace. There wasn't much filler, and it kept me glued to my Kindle for days. I really loved all the secondary characters, and I'll definitely check out their books. I have Dr. Stanton downloaded to my Kindle already.
The only reason this is a four-star rather than five-star review is down to the lack of professional editing. As an author, I cannot, in all conscience, rate this five stars even though the story and the characters merit it. The writing and editing let it down, and I can't write this review honestly without mentioning the atrocious grammar—run on sentences, redundant and incorrect words, awkward sentence structure, dangling modifiers, typos etc., etc. While most readers probably wouldn't notice these things, I did, and it pulled me out of the story so much it became frustrating. I found myself correcting things in my head, and it annoyed me because I like to read for enjoyment and not be "mentally editing" a book as I read. I couldn't help but do it with this series as it was so commonplace.
If you don't mind such a glaring lack of editing, and you enjoy dramatic, angsty romance that will leave you breathless and swoony, then I highly recommend this series.
First of all, what the heck is this monstrosity and why does it have good ratings??? Reading this book is like watching a train wreck, you want to look away so badly but you’re stuck. I tried to DNF so many times it’s not even a joke. If you’d like an example of how much this series was horrible, it’s making me write a review, I never write reviews. I really wish I could give this series zero stars.
Let’s start off with the incest. The main characters are first cousins, but SURPRISE you later find out that they aren’t related. However, the fact that both the heroine and the hero went through with the romance although that they believed that they were related was absolutely gross!! God, why? Are authors reduced to incest now for views? Or is this just a special case. Well try again because this book was just bad taste.
Next, the bloody character developement. ITS SO BAD. You would think that after 3 books and many hiatuses between the heroine and the hero, that the author would write them in a way that would allow them to grow. But HAH, that didn’t happen! The fights and honestly the dialog was getting on my nerves, it was just really really bad. I wouldn’t wish this hell on my worst enemy. Or actually I would because it’s a special type of torture.
Lastly, the sex scenes. Jesus Lord, they are like bunnies going at it. There are legit problems in their life and within each other, and they can’t stop fucking?!?! It’s so cringe worthy, that I have had to stop reading, put the book down, and literally leave the room for a long while. These sex scenes do nothing to help the development of the book some of them I find abosolutely useless. Trust me I have nothing against smut but these made me want to stab myself in the eye with a pencil.
Guys, I highly recommend you don’t buy this book, unless you are into trashy, non developmental books that are completely in support of incest then buy away. But if you have half a brain that encourages you to read books that you’ll enjoy, avoid this book to save your life. I seriously wish I had read a review like this so I could’ve avoided this whole mess.
One of the most incredible unexpected series of the summer. You didn't know were this story was going to take you which was why it was so excellent! Hot sex males and head strong women made the dialogue brilliant and so entertaining. The downs were so emotional but the highs were so witty, funny and full of laugh out loud antics. This story kept u guessing. This hot dirty sexy read was full of love and passion. You felt the steam coming off the pages! One of the best series ever! Totally 10STARS!!!!
Having just finished the Takeover and then Our Way I was on a bit of a TL Swan kick so I thought I’d read the back catalogue. Wished I hadn’t gone there with this one.
These characters are exactly the same as Our Way except the taboo here is first cousins and not confused sexuality. The ‘yells’ ‘snaps’ and ‘shrieks’ are just all too much. The writing just isn’t there. The characters are one dimensional. And it’s predictable.
If you’re not enjoying this book, put it down and read Our Way. It’s a better version of this.
You can absolutely tell that this author has been on an amazing journey - her recent writing is just phenomenal. The Takeover is one of my favourite books of the year. Her character development and multiple POV writing is now SO GOOD. Please don’t read this and be put off this author. Everyone has to start somewhere.
So, I read Dr. Stanton first and absolutely loved it! Then I started the Stanton series with really high hopes, even my GR friends gave it high ratings so this might be an issue of it's me not you.
The cousin thing did not bother me, the Aussie slang though hard to understand at times was endearing, the writing flowed and was well written. My problem was the two main characters. I found them very annoying to the point I tried to dnf it at least 10 times throughout the whole first book.
Natasha's character started out great but she acted like a hormonal teenager not a twenty something college educated psycologist. She even called herself a drama queen more times than I can count but to her credit she admitted and apologized for her over reactions.
I was not feeling the hero at all. Shocking! I mean he was rich, gorgeous, smart, well endowed man with an Ausie accent. What's not to love right? I thought he was as temperamental and as OTT dramatic as the heroine. Really I thought he was an ass most of the time.
So although I don't plan to finish this series, l loved Dr. Stanton and will give her future books a try.
Wow, what a Big..Big journey definitely Stanton series was an emotional roller-coaster with love/hate feelings. I was very drawn by both characters and their "forbidden" love, there were times that i was falling in love with them and others that i wanted to get in the story and shake them in order to bring them into their senses. Yes the author surely succeeded to make me feel as a reader everything Josh and Natasha were feeling and that's a huge thumbs up for me.
Their relationship had many ups and downs and many forward and backward steps, at first i was very disturbed by Josh's actions and the way he was talking to Natasha (what can i say i love a Gentleman hero, i personally don't like hearing some um disturbing words) but afterwards everything were way better and that's when he showed his real way better person/more lovable character..well he remained obsessive/jealous/caveman but it's not always a bad thing. Natasha's personality on the other and had many ups and downs and even strange reactions from what we expected her to have, but in the end they came to their senses.
Generally the whole story contained many questions, secrets, twists.. these and the hot explicit scenes were the highlights of the book and as i mentioned above you can see also that the characters and the plot develop steady and that made me not to lose my interest and keep reading till the end.
"As long you love me..We could be starving, We could be homeless, We could be broke"
The Stanton series (Books 1-3) : Book 1 Stanton Adore, Book 2 Stanton Unconditional and Book 3 Stanton Completely
It started as a kiss. We never meant to fall in love. But I was 17 and carefree, And he was 19, beautiful and forbidden. Our families never would have accepted it… And I broke his heart to save his future. Now the boy I loved 7 years ago is the man I can’t have. DAY-YU-AM!! Joshua Stanton🔥🔥🔥!!! There's usually alot of anxiety reading this many pages about one couple, but this was all over the place while keeping you hooked. I really enjoyed the main characters (when they had their shit together lol) but... all the side main characters are what keep it going. Just a 10/10 would recommend.
If I could give 10 stars, I so would! I can't believe it took me so long to find Joshua Stanton. I love strong, dominant Alpha males and thought I had read every good book out there. Let me just say, Josh now sits at the number 1 place in my heart. This bad boy took the cake in my Alpha man fantasy world. I love, love, loved his quirkyness and sharp-tongued jabs he threw at people. In fact, I have caught myself using some of his one liners already. There were times in the series that I could have punched him in the face for doing some of the things he was doing...like seriously Josh, grow up...but that made him so much more vulnerable and swoon worthy, too. It exposed his sensitive side, which we don't see a lot in our alpha characters. And Natasha, Oh my gosh, I fell in love with her instantly. I loved her sense of humor, her boldness, her sass...she was every bit his equal and opposite. Their love was one that worked from the beginning, but like with all things good, it took dedication and commitment to get them where they needed to go. Their fights were legendary but their love was epic. The whole dynamic worked for me, and made me want to live in Stanton land forever. I want more, more, more of them!! Thank you T.L. Swan for penning an amazing series, and I seriously can't wait to read your other books. You now have a huge fan with a penchant for PoundTown!!
Wow. I really liked these books. They sucked you in and didn't let you go. I loved the characters and their development over the course of all three novels. And they really were novels - each one was so long. But I never got bored. In fact, I could easily read more! The female lead, Natasha, started out a bit whiney but she nicely arced into a strong woman. The male lead, Joshua, was an alpha and pushed the envelope a few times, but not so much that I no longer liked him. There is also a colorful cast of supporting characters. And all the Australian slang was so entertaining!
On the editing front, the good news is that it was all grammatically correct. The bad news is that, while there were no plot holes, there were scene holes. Characters popping in, changing cities, one day suddenly became another - little things that I found that I could easily live with because the rest of it was so darn good! Happy reading.
This is TL Swan’s debut and it’s a complex love story that starts when the main characters Natasha, 17 and Joshua, 19 fall in love, happily ever after, I want to live the rest of my life with you love but it’s a forbidden and taboo love and they can never be together.
Fast forward seven years and Natasha and Joshua are reunited and they can’t fight their feelings any longer so they begin to explore what they could have together but they don’t have an easy path. Their relationship is complicated, passionate and volitile and there’s a lot of angst and drama.
I love the support characters, they don’t just fill the pages, for me they make the story and bring a level of humour that’s needed to break the angst between Joshua and Natasha.
There are some spacing and editing issues and if these were tidied up the story would flow better between scene changes. This box set now contains all four books of the Stanton Series.
I gave 4 stars to book 1, 4 stars to book 2, and as a whole I decided on 5 stars. This series is full of drama and over the top angst and I couldn't get enough. Seriously, this book had everything awful happen to Joshua and Natasha, but their love prevailed. This is a must read and I'll be telling everyone to read it!! And I need more and I'm happy she, is writing more with the other characters.
I can't believe this.. But I'm going to have to dnf this book. Here's why🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ Firstly, I would never under normal circumstances dnf a TL Swan book... Never! BUT! This was a box set... if I recall it was about 4 books in total. I got halfway through book 2.....angst angst... Miscommunication and break ups on a grand scale... I quit. A good book though.... But the angst done it for me. On to Dr Stanton 😍🤩
TL Swan is newly introduced author to me, so I read this book blindly.
Natasha and Joshua were teenage sweethearts. After being away from each other for quite some time, Josh is now back in the states. But guess what? The dude is now a very famous billionaire! So when Josh came back, Natasha was very determined to make him fall for her again.
Let's start with the good stuff first, shall we? What I loved about Stanton is that it was never short of hot scenes. I mean, you open Chapter One, and boom! You get a very steamy scene right away. The hero is has some kind of caveman tendency, and I'm soooo into that!
I know TL Swan is an amazing author, and I really want to see her hone her writing skills better. Stanton has a lot of potential, specially her characters.
If you'll ask me if I loved the book, not really love... but I enjoyed it. Will I read another TL Swan book? Yes. I would love to give TL Swan another chance, because I know and I believe that she can work on her craft, and create wonderful stories and amazing characters one day.
I will be the first one to raise my hand to say I love angsty stories, but Lord have mercy, this box set was way too much angst at one time.
Both Josh and Tash were drama king and queen. They flew off the handle about everything or made it about themselves instead of looking at the bigger picture. I could have probably gotten past that had it not been for the fact that Tash was a freaking psychologist. Yes, even professionals can be overrun by their emotions, yet it seemed more like Tash was a teenage girl and not a grown woman who's job was to help people acting exactly like her.
Josh was more of an giant jackass rather than an alpha male. Just when I thought maybe he was changing doe the better, he'd say or do something to make me wonder why Tash wanted him.
Some of the secondary characters were great (loved Cameron and the storyline with Adrian and Nicholas), but they were often overshadowed by whatever drama the MCs had found themselves involved in.
Stanton Box Set by T L Swan is a good series. There were part of the book that I loved and then parts that bothered me.
Natasha Marx has been in love with Joshua Stanton since she was 17. That's when she gave him her virginity. Now 7 years later she has to see him again. Natasha broke Josh’s heart. She wants to make it right. She wants to tell him the truth, but she’s not sure Josh still feels the same. Josh is a billionaire. He left Australia to pursue his dream in America, only Josh left his dream behind when he was 19. There is one major issue that holds these two back from the love they could share.
Ha…I’m not giving the secret away. I enjoyed this series. At times I felt both the characters were immature. I felt like some of the story was repetitive. I feel like many of the good parts were in the last book. The series is well written and was a quick read. There are many characters in this series and sometimes I got them confused. The sex scenes are hot.
The intense love that fell from Between these pages, I cannot describe in no other words other than " devoted soul mates". This series had a lot of twists and turns, ups and downs, I found myself laughing hard in places and crying softly in others. TL Swan gives the reader a epic detailed explanation, from several of her characters POV. To feel such an extreme loving connection through words and memories, Josh and Tasha shared had me hooked line and sinker. All of the characters are extremely well constructed, the bonds they made and shared had my heart melting. Couple that with the scorching sex scenes, which certainly had me writhing in my seat, makes for one of the best reads of 2016. I recommend this beautiful love story to anyone who has fallen in love, is in love or is a true romantic.
I. Am. Dead. This series has left me completely speechless and if I'm honest, with my heart racing like crazy. There was a point in the third book where I was just skimming because I couldn't handle it anymore. I have never read a series or a book in my life that I physically wanted to scream and pull out my hair... I think I felt just as crazy as Josh is (and if you have read the books you know what I mean). This series has become one of my favorites even though it left me so crazy and I'm not kidding when I say that as I'm typing this my heart is still racing because of the last few chapters. This series is so worth it, you will NOT regret reading it.
These books are just so good. I really hate book series that use the cliffhanger ending. It's like the author doesn't think their work is good enough on it's own to retain readers so they have to hook them in to this neverending drama where the ends are actually just beginnings in disguise. And truthfully, I usually find that the writing sucks. But these books are just so good. I read Marx Girl randomly & fell in love. I grabbed the next thing I saw by Swan, which was Dr. Stanton & I was in full addiction mode. Ive finally figured out the order and I will re-read them now to get the timeline straight in my head.
Omg what a ride and I’m thoroughly exhausted!!! This series was like jerry springer and ever soap opera ever created rolled in one crazy ..sexy dramatic series...sheesh!!
I absolutely looooved the shit out of Stanton series..Joshua Stanton is the love of my life and now that it’s over I swear I will never ever be the same!!
If there are some of you that still have not read this plz do yourself a favor and read it ..it’s a definite must read!!!!
2.5 stars Stanton Adore was pretty good, but I felt that there was a lot of repetition... and also, there were a lot of things that could have been left unsaid in my opinion. Also, there were quite a few editing problems that were big enough to grab me OUT of the story, and that's not a good thing. Full review to come soon - buddy read.
Amazing its a brilliant series I love the story line and the characters are so amazing I laughed cried and was so happy I love the whole series come on there's lot's more to write about xxx please x
Wow. So weiß man was damals passiert ist.
No.
OMG loved it.Finally a story where SHE is not a doormat and doesn't fall so easily whrn the others try to separate them.I like how the author explores and plays with a range of emotions through the series. I have to admit I have read first the DR Stanton book and it made me curious to read Natasha and Joshua's story as well and it helped me understand better Dr Stanton. Warning: bingeread all 3 books in like a week.
