A curvy Mexican billionaire whose money can't buy her love + a powerfully masculine American jaguar shifter firefighter + a world trying to tear these fated mates apart = one fiery romance!
Billionaire Octavia Mateo is the toast of the Cancun business world. On the outside, she's got everything. But inside, she feels empty. Her snobbish uncle keeps trying to set her up with wealthy men, but Octavia-- and her inner jaguar-- have never felt so much as a spark of passion. Yet...
Black jaguar Luke Covas is a brave, strong, down to earth firefighter, a man who takes things as he finds them. But when he's separated from his crew during a deadly fire on the border, he's forced to become a jaguar to survive. But the trauma leaves him unable to shift back, stranded wounded and alone, not even knowing what country he's in.
Until Octavia finds him. On the surface, the wealthy woman and the courageous firefighter have nothing in common. But their souls call to each other, culminating in a night of wild passion that convinces them that they're meant to be together. But can they survive a gauntlet of awkward dinner parties, a scheming uncle trying to separate them, and a deadly fire? What will it take for the two jaguar shifters to stay together when they're literally worlds apart?
This is a burning hot, standalone BBBW jaguar shifter romance. No cliffhangers!
Zoe Chant loves writing paranormal romance. Over a cup of tea (or something stronger) she whips up sexy tales of hunky heroes and adventurous heroines to tantalize and satisfy her readers. Sizzling hot romance, no cliffhangers!
While series should ideally be read in order, all of Zoe’s books are standalones and can be read in any order. This includes books within series.
This is one of Zoe Chant's earlier books, I think. The characters and premise of the story are all good, but it is not as well developed as her books are now. You are left feeling a little like you missed a part of the story. I would get one of the more recent series by her to get a better picture of what she can do. All the elements of a super story are here, but it doesn't seen complete. I will stick with reading her current stories and waiting for the next ones in each series that I am following!
Rescued by the tiger is another great story of Big Cats shifters by Zoe Chant. A very interesting story this time brings together two shifters. I found the interference from a relative caused issues between the pair and I began to be triggered and thought that it’s not real just a story. Please get help if this story is concerning for you. Keep up the great inspirational writing
This is a good one that has a lovely romance. I did wish the ending had carried a little further with the pair because I'd love to know what his father told her uncle.
Like most of her books, the beginning and middle are great. The problem is that they end do abruptly thus making the reader feel like the missed something. When stories end like this, they are typically followed by a continuation. Most of hers don't. So once again I'm left with half a story.
Kindle Unlimited no cliffhanger read. She finds him when he needs her most. He doesn't know he's a shifter because of a tragic event. After she leaves and returns, he shifters and realizes they can't stay apart. But her uncle pushes them apart. Can they be together?
Octavia is a jaguar shifter that like to get out of the city and relax in her little cabin in the woods. Luke is a jaguar shifter also, he had to shift in order to escape a fire. When he see Octavia he is trapped in his jaguar form and cannot figure out how to shift back into human form. This story has bigotry, lies, snobs, fire and love.
As with any relationship, there are ups and downs. In this case, the uncle, not the butler, is the bad guy. His heart is in the right place, but it is wrong for the young lovers. Read this story and smile. I love shifter stories.
Fast paced and romantic jaguar shifter romance, I really enjoyed it a lot. Can two people from different walks of life, really fall in love and make it last, or will family get in the way? Octavia and Luke were fun characters and very likable.
