Not Another Thug Story 2
This was a great book. Montana, Montana, Montana...smh I am really disappointed in him at this point. From all the lies that he has told. When Koda told the story of him and Montana, I had to put the book down for a minute. I was shocked at what Koda had to go through. I loved the fact that I got to see a little bit more with Yayo. Demarco is still crazy as ever, but Morgan is putting up with his butt. I think I'm starting to like Cashmere more....lol can't wait to see what happens next. Great job Desiree!

In Not Another Thug Story 2, Montana is locked up, Cashmere and De’Angelo are getting close despite hating each other, Morgan and Demarco are going strong despite being such opposites, were introduced to Tori Blue, Hazel and Koda are becoming friendly despite their relationships with Montana, and big secrets come to life about who Montana actually is.
Montana: Liar, liar, pants on fire. After finding out how he and Koda became friends, I definitely cannot stand Montana even more. Montana being a writer is ..
Lauryn: Girl, open your eyes because how can you be that obvious to what’s happening in front of you?
Cashmere and DeAngelo: I’m surprised that these two actually are in a relationship despite Cashmere’s fascination with being close with the Carters. I think that wild night with Erma, Morgan, and Demarco made her finally realize that the Carter’s aren’t who they say they are.
Tori Blue: To be honest, her story line is very boring. A singer with blue eyes and that ends up dating Yayo, a well know street kingpin, who has ties to Montana and everyone else. How Tori and Yayo met was cute to read, but outside of that, the story line is pretty boring.
Morgan and Demarco: My favorite couple! Opposites definitely do attract when it comes to these two. I hollered when they were chased down the street by that dog.
Hazel: GIRL!! WHAT THE HELL ARE DOING? Whew! Hazel came back around and decided to shake things up and now she’s gotta run for cover.
Koda: Finding out how he and Montana became friends was heart breaking, especially given how Koda was raised. Outside of that, I would say that Koda needs to run, but .. he knows the truth and the real Montana.
All in all, Not Another Thug Story 2 was kind of boring and repetitive at times. I am curious to see how all of this ends because the secret about Montana and Koda is crazy. I also need to know if Lauryn finally figures everything out as well. Also, I cannot wait to read Bambino because I really want to know more about Tuesday Carter.

Like the first one it was good…. Still not comfortable with Jacob being an ex white supremacist and him saying the n word so comfortably, and then telling everyone to educate themselves when they have a problem with it. Yayyyyyy I missed Shiloh and Olivia. I’m confused so did Montana and Levii used to date or just freak? I don’t really like Hazel she kinda annoying at times. Lauryn cool but dang girl is she taking a long time to figure out what really happened. Montana going to hell (with koda behind him, he ain’t safe) I honestly wish both of them would get popped cause they stress me out. D’Angelo and Cashmere is finna be my next favorite couple I see and Demorgan cute

Liar liar
Montana is such a liar and the weakest link! All his secrets coming out and his lies are catching up with him in every direction. My Carter fam showed up and I was geeked!!! Hazel came back starting more drama and I like it lol. This author can be repetitive a lot lol I was tired of seeing moon crested eyes like ok we get it all their eyes shaped like that lol. Besides that I’m enjoying Montana lies and hoping the finale he gets his karma.

Hood mystery
Okay this book here has took me through it. It has me confused and amazed at the same time. Montana seems to have stolen his best friends life to write the perfect book. I'm not sleeping in Koda because there are something's not adding up with him joining the Aryan nation but living black women. One thing about him is he definitely has heart. Montana had me so fooled . I can't respect him at all anymore. Ready for book 3 because Desiree playing with my emotions.

OHHH MY DAMN
Mannnnn this book was crazy and that ending! OHHHH MY DAMN is all I can say. Then to get to the end and the author is talking about what she's trying to do within these stories an I'm just clueless but screaming at the same time.... OHHHH MY FREAKING GOSH!!! Koda is a different kind of crazy and Montana is all about Montana, PERIOD. Now I'm late for work and can't wait to start the next one. Hate I've been sleeping on Desiree but I'm a fan for life....OHHHH MY GOSH I can't wait to read the next one...

So I'm new to the softer however I will definitely say this is a mind boggler you really must pay attention if you don't you will miss something and definitely be confused please continue to share your gift of Storytelling Miss Desiree may God continue to bless you you are definitely a unique character trying to figure out where you got some of your stories from you have me cussing your buck and all of the series

Oh my word this novel have so many twists and turns and unexpected things that happen that have you on the edge of your bed and your toilet because you're going to be reading none stop I was supposed to get in the shower 2 hours ago and I just finished second book if you want something that's raw real where you can't tell what's going to happen in the ending twists and turns this is the series for you

wow ok
wow l loved this book it was the perfect length to get through and get key details but not all , l love how we don’t have all the answers and you really can’t trust any character fully
l love olivia and hazel l also love that we get to see so many characters from the carter series pop in and out of the story cause l do miss all those characters
montana is a loser and l hope he gets his karma and Koda is really that ! lm loving it off to the next l go :)

Speechless
I have been reading this series nonstop and have not been disappointed. I’m in awe right now what’s real what’s fake who actually got clout and who’s faking the funk. Man I’m totally turned around and Shiloh coming in and out like damn Yoda not helping. One to the next and one word of advice don’t skip over any book to read ahead you’ll only mess yourself up🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wow. I read this book straight to the end.
This book had me at times laughing my butt off. I love the way each major character got to tell his or her story. This was a very climactic ending. I am about to start the third and final book in this series.

The ending to this just gave me so much life. Why did it have to end omg they got Jacob Ryan so messed up. I lost all respect for Montana with that lie even tho I didn’t have no to begin with. Lauryn should know who did that to her. Will Montana show up tho?

I didn’t really care for Montana and really wanted to skip this on but you HAVE to read the series in order for development of the characters. I also didn’t care for “DeMorgan”. Overall a good read!
