Olivia was definitely not looking for anything serious when it came to men and sex. That was why she enjoyed seeing Sable, her “friend-with-benefits”. The fact he was a sexy shapeshifting WereTiger just made it even more fun.
However, the fun ended when, despite being safe, Olivia found that Sable had made her pregnant and under WereTiger law this meant only one thing.
They would have to marry and raise the child together or she will face execution.
Reluctant to marry at such a young age, will Sable save Olivia's life by making her his bride? Or is she going to be forced to go on the run in order to protect her unborn baby?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Tigers Pregnant Bride by Bonnie Burrows Olivia is a strong very independent women that has a very active sex life but doesn't want to be tide down. Sable is a very rich and a weretiger and also has a very active sex life and sometimes Sable and Olivia are together and have been in/off since they were teens. The law as it stands is if a shifter gets a human pregnant they have to marry them or face death. After been together Olivia finds out she's pregnant but is against forced marriage even though she comes to realise how much She loves Sable. Sable also realises he's absolutely head over heels for Olivia and doesn't want to force her in to anything. He would love to marry her but her wants to do it on his own terms without pressuring her. They end up running to Canada where the law is not enforced. A lot happens in this book and it skips five years but still was able to follow easily. In the end three story's were in this book Olivia/Sable, Terence/Grace (Olivia bff) and Egan and a mystery women. Really liked the ending and this book I assume starts Egan's off so you really should read this first then Running With The Tiger.
I liked Sable and Olivia. But the story seemed to have some gaps and jumps that weren't adequately explained. Sometimes it just jumped around a lot. It needed fleshing out.
One of the things I love about the Paranormal Romance sub-genre of Shifters is the vast diversity of worlds, politics, mysteries and how each story’s world is somewhat unique. We are presented with just such a unique world in The Tiger’s Pregnant Bride, one where the rules are archaic and make no logical sense… unless politics are involved.
Sable is one very handsome, sexy and wealthy Tiger Shifter. He has no interest in settling down and goes about his life as he chooses – his only concession to real life comes from his taking parental responsibility in the raising of his younger brother, Egan, after the death of their parents. Olivia and Sable have been friends for years, friends, sometime lovers they both are comfortable in their roles in each other’s lives. One Human, One Shifter but the differences between have never mattered. Until everything changes…
In Olivia and Sable’s world the line between Human and Shifter is very clearly drawn. There are to be no Human/Shifter romances and should a Human ever become pregnant, she must be vetted by the Council, deemed approved and the couple must marry immediately… or the woman faces death.
Sable has been having dreams, prophetic dreams and he now believes that Olivia is his fated mate. Which is perfectly fine with him since he has loved her and enjoyed her company for years. When it becomes apparent that Olivia is pregnant, Sable is delighted and resigned to Olivia’s strong willed determination to not follow the rules. She has no intention of getting married. Period. The rules regarding Human and Shifter pregnancies are archaic and outrageous, and she will not follow meekly along with them. In reality, Olivia loves Sable and is happy to be having his child – on many levels she’d delight in settling down with her mate – but her need for freedom outweighs common sense and sets the stage for an adventure she never expected to take.
Olivia’s decision will thrust she and Sable into a fight for their lives – and political upheaval that will tear apart Human and Shifter relations from that day onward.
The story is action packed, fast paced with an edge that holds you captive until the next shoe falls. There are twists and turns – and a very believable story. There are secrets, lies and murder – there is an extremely loving and sensuous couple and their battle for survival of not only them, but their family, friends and community is gripping. I would not hesitate to recommend The Tiger’s Pregnant Bride to any lover of the Paranormal and Shifters in particular. Egan’s story continues in Running With The Tiger… where we’ll get his story as well a different glimpses of what was happening on other fronts during this chaos.
I enjoyed the story of a woman and her shifter friend who were friends with benefits for many years until she became pregnant. She was reluctant to marry anyone and death would be the punishment for any human and shifter who have a child while unmarried. It really is divided into two stories. First, their relationship is the focus. In the second section, his brother and her friend have a larger role and there are unanswered questions in regard to his brother. I hope that will be pursued in another story soon.
It was well-written and had some surprises which I enjoyed. I hate to be able to predict the whole story from the beginning. I have read other stories by this author which I have also enjoyed.
This was adorable! I really want Grace and Terrance to have a story. Girl is super strong. Getting kidnapped twice by the same guy, which is rude. Anyways. I felt like everything moved quickly, but then I kept reminding myself that there was a 5 year fast foreword. The writing seemed to change a little towards the end of the book, not in a bad way. Just noticeable. Freaking Tom and Gary, asses. I read Eagan's story first so going back in age for him was a little weird, but doable. I liked Eagan's story a little more, but this one had a lot more set up for the future books which was nice.

Sable and Grace's love was forbidden, unless she was willing to bite the bullet and marry him. Yep - she needed her arm twisted. Not even the threat of death would change her mind. Anti-shifter sentiment forced them to fight to be together. Good story overall. Lost me timeline- wise a few times. And what happened to Egan?
I really enjoyed this book. The story was great, it was intense in both DRA a and action and very hard to put down. Just enough love, sex, and action to keep me glued to my Kindle until I finished reading it.
I've read quite a few shifter books an this storyline was a intriguing, suspenseful, well thought out characters and story from love to social understanding of the differences within humanity. Hard to put down once you. Start.
I really wanted to see what happened to Egan and his mate. I am so glad they got rid of Laskin and the elders were horrible too, but this book was so good.
