Mob Boss, Vasile and sweet and shy Fawn are still going strong in "Keep: The Wedding" but not married. They both love each other and their child, Maria but those marriage papers are nothing to Vasile until he again almost loses Fawn. As a clan boss, Vasile felt that marriage would put Fawn and baby Maria in dire danger. It could be the Petran name or just association. Well Vasile was just strange like that, uh... and that was his way of protecting what was his? So after Fawn's abduction she tells Vasile 'no' to marriage because of the way he tells her that they were going to get married. Of course, Vasile don't like it one bit. There are a few unanswered questions though like who is the man in the shadows of the room with the strange cop and Fawn and what is his agenda about Sorin and clan business?

Remember back in "Keep", the first book in the series, Vasile is a really powerful and sometimes ruthless individual but only Fawn and sometimes his brother, Sorin sees the goodness in him.

I enjoyed how the author, Kaye Blue brought back past relevant characters in "Fall", and "Avenge" -the combative but loving couple, Sorin and his wife, sassy Esther and cute, Baby Sorin and soft-spoken, Anton Constantin and wife, Lily and of course calculating and cunning, Priest and brash-talking, Markov.

3.5 wedding bells and forget traditions stars ***.5

Fantastic sensual drama!!

The saga continues with Fawn and her hunky dangerous Romanian mobster Boss Vasile. I totally love this installment of course I wish it was longer but I can't wait for the next installment I need to know who was in the shadows when Fawn was up ducted. These two are so in love I can't wait to find out what happens at the wedding once they're married. Good job Kaye blue

Ok, I didn't expect to have this little treat from Ms. Blue! Wow! After writing the other books, she came back to revisit the first couple, Vasile and Fawn. To be honest, I wasn't sure going into this how it would be. I thought there was no way to improve on what already was and that I might be bored. Lol. Boy was I ever mistaken! I should know by now that Ms Blue never disappoints. The couples love has only grown. I know some other reviewers have spoke of cliffhangers and unanswered questions. Don't let this stop your from reading it. Trust me, I hate cliff hangers, but this one is mild. Not so much a cliff as a step. We know the wedding takes place because of the title and the interaction at very end. But we don't know who caused the trouble in this story. It's not enough to drive you crazy though. I'm starting to believe I may know who it is but who knows? Anyway, what I really loved most about this book is that it focuses more on the women. Not so much the world but how the women deal with it in their lives. It was so funny when they were meeting at the park and the stuff they would say about no one being around them. I love the talk of the children because it was just enough to know the ages and a personality of Maria, Fawn and Vasile's daughter. And we get to see Lily again. I really liked when the three met for dinner. Esther's character is so funny. I love all of them. I really like the surprise at the end. Won't spoil it. Can't wait to see what Ms Blue writes next. All I've got to say is, hurry up! Lol

This was a wonderful read. In this book we get to revisit Fawn & Vasile! They finally get married and we know that the other couples have married by now. Of course, this wouldn't be awesome without some torturing and killing happening. I mean they touched Fawn, dumb, dumb & even dumber! Did they really think that Vasile was going to allow them to touch her and live? Idiotas! Loved it. These men are ridiculously hot! The sex scenes are scorching!!!

This was a very good story and it was nice to see Vasile and Fawn again. Fawn and Carols are very happy together and with their daughter Maria, but Fawn wants marriage and Vasile just wants to meep his familt prorected and the even thoughhe would like nothing better than to marry Fawn he feels all it will do is put her more at risk. When Fawn gets taken but returned Vasile realizes that he needs to marry Fawn, which he does or it is implayed. I hope that their will be a continuation of this story because it did leave a lot of unanswered questions.

The men who feel they don't deserve love or never thought about truly loving someone are the ones who loves the most action speaks louder than words and when they do speak there is no doubt about their truth this author is my go to for these sometimes intense but highly enjoyable moments read this and enjoy!

It was nice to catch up with Fawn and Vasile again and the other characters in this series. This was short and sweet. However, I was still unclear as to what was the purpose of the abduction and who was really behind it. Apart from this, I enjoyed the story. Worth a read.

I am on a Kaye Blue roll right now. This daggone book series is making me obsessed with these Romanian mobsters! This was another good read in my opinion. I love Vasile, he is so delicious and not here for the games and I love him for that! I like Fawn as well, although she is still not my fave. I find her character to be a little too unsure and too easy, when she shouldn't be and that annoys me, but at the same time, I do understand. Fawn, came to Vasile with a lot of issues and emotional baggage from her past, so it will take her time to get it all the way together; so, I am not fully hating on her. I really do, like Fawn and Vasile together though and the relationship that they are continuing to build. Vasile is loving and supportive of Fawn, which is what she needs, not to mention protective, which is also what she needs/needed in her life. They are just really awesome together, emphasis on together, separately, Fawn still needs work.

Now, I need to know what is going on because we are introduced to a new crime organization (if that is the correct term), The Syndicate. Based on the very and I mean VERY little bit of information we get about The Syndicate, they are nothing nice and on a whole other level of dangerous. I cannot wait to learn more about them, what their motives are, how they operate, who is in control of them, what they wanted with Fawn, is Priest a part of The Syndicate, since he is technically not part of any of the Romanian mob clans, is he working in the gray between the clans, The Syndicate and himself or was he really part of The Syndicate this whole time? Ugh, so many questions!

You see, this is how you put a story together and an overlapping series at that. Ms. Blue is introducing all kinds of new tidbits, that just add to the world she already created and she leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to read the next one and learn more about Priest and The Syndicate and whatever/wherever else Ms. Blue wants to take us on her literary journey, I am ready and waiting for it all. I hope we can get a series of books about The Syndicate, I am so intrigued. Okay, enough writing for now, I need to get back to this series ASAP!

I loved this book so much.

I was glad I got to read the continuation of Vasile and Fawns relationship dynamic expand even more beautifully.

Their relationship and bound is so strong and heart felt it just makes my heart melt.

When Fawn confessed to Esther that she wanted to get married I sensed before she said so that, that was what was bothering her.

Vasile’s loves Fawn but his fear of her one day leaving him for in the war of him doing what was right in the moment.

And I’m glad he finally realised such and married her,
The part where he got her all the rings from the shop was felt hilarious, and they way Fawn described how he was so excited about the wedding and wanted to take over the planning was such and amazingly beautiful moment to read.

I love Fawn and Esther’s friendship and how they give each other advice. I only wish we got more scenes with Lily included to see all their friendship grow.

Same goes for Vasile and Sorin’s brotherly relationship is incredible and ver intriguing to see. Escaping when Sorin called Vasile an idiot and an asshole for not proposing or asking Fawns hand in marriage the right way only to find out he only knows about that became Esther instructed him on how he should propose to her.

Now that was just beyond funny.

I hope Anton also stays close with Vasile I really sense a friendship could brew there - atleast I hope so, from what I’ve read it’s bluntly obvious they have respect and admiration for one another. Hopefully that continues.

In conclusion, amazing plot, storyline and characters and I really wish to hear from each and everyone of these characters as the series continues.

All love from Ireland 🇮🇪.

Who says formulatic is awlays a problem? Not me...I know what I like in my books and Kaye Blue will deliver everytime. Dangerous hero with ties to the underworld? Check! Curvy heroine who is sucked into the crime world? Check! Instant attraction? Check!! Sizzling sexual tension? Check!! Gratifying climax? Check! Glimpse into the world of organized crime? Check!!
I cannot complain when I get an erotic interracial story where the hero is dangerously sexy, the heroine is sweet with a dark past and I get to watch the fireworks when these two meet. In every book the juxstaposition of the lethal vs. the innocent is a winning combo.
I like how the men are bad and they own it. The women are drawn to these men but do not try to change them. Their love must survive in a world full of blood and death.

Some books stood out to me more than others: Keep, Possess, Fall, Reign, The Enforcer and more.
Least favorite so far: Avenge, war, the wedding, Redeem

I had hoped that they would get married and they are

Vasile and Fawn's love just keeps getting stronger and stronger the longer they're together. It was so scary when Fawn was taking because she thought she was getting arrested but it turned out not to be the case at all. I love how protective the men in this series are about their women/wives, their kids and most importantly their Clans. I'm still wondering who was behind taking Fawn hopefully that question gets answered in the next book or books.

It was nice to read on the events leading up to the events of Fawn and Vasile's wedding. I like how flawed Kaye's characters are, how they struggle with image and self-esteem issues because it makes them more real. My appreciation for Fawn's character is growing with each book I read that has her in it. I would have liked some things to be described to us a little in a little more detail, perhaps the venue, and the vows, but overall it was another wonderful chapter in a great series.

always want more

Happy for Fawn and Vasile but as usual not enough content. I wanted more dialogue what about their wedding night about the baby. I don’t know if it’ll be addressed in the next book but I’m always looking for more. Also what about Esters insecurities did that go away and how? I still have many questions but I do like that Vasile is so intense and a man of few words, he’s such a mob boss but more content would make these books better.

Still Going Strong

This series is still going strong. Vasile and Fawn, along with Sorin and Esther, are still the power couples.

The stories are still engaging, the plots interesting and the romance hot.

Almost!

There is a feeling of being left with the unknown! Why was Fawn taken? Who was the officer that actually put the cuffs on her? Did they even get married, where? Was there a honeymoon? I stop there, so four stars!

we go back to our "first" couple. things are going good, as good as can be for a mobster. as he takes care of business, he knows that the love of his life is a target and he doesn't want to make it bigger with commitment, he likes things the way they are. he mostly can dominate her resistance but things grow restless between them.
when she's "arrested" and taken in for questioning (or rather driven somewhere secluded) she stands her ground.
when she turns back up at their home he's more then relieved to have her back in his arms, he even tells her they'll get married. but her reaction isn't what he thought it would be and it takes a good talking down from his brother to realize he really messed up with her.

what will it take to get a mob boss on his knees?

i loved getting back in touch with the petrans, seeing how finding love has changed them but yet they stay bad ass mobsters! can't wait to see if more is added to this series as i loved book one to three, i also loved this one just the same!

It is funny that sometimes you do know how bad you truly want something until it is taken from you or in danger. This was the case for Vasile. He was fighting tooth and nail when it came to getting married. He wanted so much to protect Fawn and his daughter. He thought the best way to do that was to not marry.

Fawn wanted the happy I do. She loved Vasile and it hurt that he did not want to get married. I loved how she tried to reason with herself that all that matter was they were together, but deep down she wanted him to want her so much that he would desire to marry her. To her it was a way of fully becoming his.

It is not long before the unthinkable happens, Fawn is in danger. This is Vasile worst nightmare. I am sure he played the what ifs over and over in his mind. The question is will he be able to bring her home safely? Will this be his eye opener?

Love The Romanian Mob Chronicles! As much as I loved the series and this book and happy to see that Sorin/Esther and Anton/Lilly got married, the ending for this book left me a tad disappointed! Disappointed because the main question wasn't answered! Who was behind taking Fawn and trying to bring down Clan Petran?! If not the Syndicate then who? The Peruvians? David, Vargas, Petey, Christoph Jr. and Natasha are dead; at least that's what they said! I don't trust Priest! I'm with Anton, "...a man with no loyalty, with nothing to be loyal to, was a dangerous one." This new guy, Markov, something about him doesn't sit well with me! The way he made excuses for one of his men instead of administering some type of punishment or at least offer to for being disrespectful says a lot! He's not to be trusted!
Ms Blue please bless with another awesome book in this series!

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review*
*SPOILER ALERT*
I enjoyed the Romanian Mob Chronicles in spite of the lack of romance in the entire series. This book was ok, but once again lacked passion and romance. I know that Vasile and Fawn loved each other, but it did not leap off the pages. In addition, we never found out who had taken Fawn and why. Also, it would have been nice know if they really got married instead of them engaging in a quickie before the so-called wedding. Also, I would have loved to know what happened when Fawn told Vasile that she was pregnant again. The book was incomplete which is why I gave it 3 Stars. I intend to read more of Ms. Blue's books in the future, but I hope she brings on the romance.

*UPDATE*
Just saw a picture of Ms. Blue's upcoming book called "War", so perhaps my questions will be answered.

It was a good story!!!  The story showed how much Vasile and Fawn truly loved each other but Fawn wanted more ( marriage). The story left several unanswered incident like did they get marry, did she tell Vasile she's expecting and most important who kidnapped Fawn and why because there is not an HEA but just a slight cliffhanger. Overall. A great follow-up to a loving couple and look forward to the next book for clarification....

Good follow-up. Of course, I have more questions than answers about the Fawn incident, so I'm eagerly looking forward to the next book in the series. Hoping we'll find out more about Priest. Is he a good guy or a bad guy? How does he get all his info? I'm so curious about him.

I loved Vasile's proposal with all the rings. I also loved the way the book ended and thought it was perfect for Fawn and Vasile.

Well Done

This was so good I did not want it to end.The writer did something a little different,we got to see the inside workings of relationships and all the emotions. This was done in such a way that you get to feel the characters are more human and believable. The undercurrents we get add the right amount of mystery and the danger. The chemistry is just spot on.This has been one fantastic series that you will revisit again and recommend to a friend.

***I received an ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review*** Wow! I thought this was a great follow up to Vasile and Fawn's story. I felt like we got to see more of his love for her. Another plus was the update on the other couples in the series. And what would a mob series be without some angst lol! All in all it was a great conclusion for Vasile and Fawn!! Kaye Blue did it again!

At least they got married...

This story was good but there was something missing which I can't put my finger on nevertheless, I loved hearing about their lives with Maria and them adding to their family. What I was not happy with was the lose ends of when someone took Fawn, now I'm nervous and eagerly awaiting the next instalment of this series....
