a fact-packed eye-opening analytical and entertaining (and i learned a lot)

A rather interesting book written in the old style of writing for reference non-fiction. Good selection of illustrations. In the final chapters, the author makes some predictions that have become reality, but one in particular has not - women have taken to wearing trousers with gusto and have not continued to resist wearing them as they had in the past. This occurred only a few years after this book was published - by 1975, women wore trousers as everyday wear.

Took out from ECA Library, I absolutely fell in love with it. And I am so sad that it is so hard to find, because I would really like to own a copy (one that is new).
