After hearing stories about the Easter Bunny from his mother, Hopper, an artic bunny wants to be an Easter Bunny. But doing all the things the Easter Bunny can do isn't as easy as Hopper thought. Hopper meets another bunny, and together they gather eggs from a henhouse, but break them while returning to Hopper's hollow. But Hopper's mother has a surprise for him, left by the actually Easter Bunny.

Lovely illustrations with such cute, soft bunnies and adorable chickens (without being cartoony) but the story was really lackluster for me and I don't really understand the point of it. . My son said it was just okay and give it three stars--I agree.

A cute Easter time story for younger children. The bunny wants to become the Easter Bunny, but finds out along the way that the Easter Bunny's job is not as easy as it may seem. A new friendship blossoms during the book that subtly teaches children that not every person (or bunny) is the same, but that interests can be the same. This book shows the imagination and determination that youngsters have when given the chance to explore their interests.

This is part of the Hopper series and is so cute to read for Easter! Hopper tries to be like the Easter bunny but finds that is not as easy as his mother made it sound. After escaping the fox, Hopper finds a new friend in a brown hare. They find some eggs and try to bring them back to Hopper's mother to help them paint it, but to their dismay, Hopper falls and the eggs break. They are greeted with a special surprise when they return to Hopper's mother.

As soon as you pick up the book, you know it is going to be about Easter. Easter books, I will put on the bookshelves in the Spring time. Not everyone celebrates Easter, but this is a good book to maybe have an assignment just one bunnies. The different types of bunnies, and their adventures would be a good writing prompt.
