I am a newbie when it comes to BDSM. Ready this book gave me a clear vision of what going on during the erotic sex scenes. I love how BSM Stoneking had great character development. You fall in love with Temperance right away. Well, I did because she is so new to BDSM like me. I have felt her dark pain in some ways. There is tons of twists that keep you wanting more. I had a hard time putting the book down. Capture was not my favorite guy but by the end of the book I wanted to be in Temperance's shoes.

I was given this book as an ARC/BETA Copy from the author prior to publishing for my opinions and review of her work. I have read ALL of the authors previous works from her novella's that are hot little quickies and her two novels that precede this book. In book two The Vampires Ange De La Mort, Meet The Parents we find Victoria aka Tori getting ready to star in the movie "Capture's Temperance" where she plays the part of Temperance and was just meeting her co-workers at the end of the book. Soooo, I have been in anticipation and longing while waiting like a kid on Christmas eve for this book! So with sparkle spankings...lets begin my review of "Capture's Temperance".
The MOST IMPORTANT thing I can say about this book, it is a work of FICTION, a MOVIE for book two, which makes it have to be a little over the top, not really real, but real enough to be...WOW, can you believe that??...when you read the pages. And that is EXACTALLY what this book provides. It is also why this is truly a stand-alone and yet part of the series The Vampires Ange De La Mort.
Now onto my review....
I have to say Temperance is one kick ass rocker chick named Pandora in the band Dreamers Rage, which is an almost all male band which she is the lead singer of. She is protected by her band-mates, and yet, will be the ones to hurt her the most. The morning after of a wonderful night with fantastic sex with Eli, her world as she knew it becomes shattered in the most horrific way possible. You will cry and feel all the emotions of the betrayal, despair and heartache...but you will find Temperance to be beautifully strong and at the same time so incredibly broken in knowing whatever the cost she will do what she feels she needs to to try to move forward the best SHE can. Even two years after the betrayal and horrific event, she is still having nightmares, so between hypnosis and her cutting we see the person inside who is hurt and trying, trying to find her peace of mind, and not let the demons win.
When she finds the ad for a lead singer for an all girl band she jumps on the first flight out to audition as herself and not the former rock chick they all knew her to be as 'Pandora', that life she wants to leave behind and all the things that went with it. A favorite quote from that moment would be the honesty in feeling Temprance's emotions during the audition...
""I’ve decided I’m not going by my old band name, Pandora. These girls have no idea who I am and, I want to keep it that way.
I tell them my real name, “Temperance LaHeaven,” then begin to sing a well-known rock song that’s currently on the radio. Because when you meet a man who can capture your attention from across a room full of half naked people and people in shabari ropes suspended from the ceiling, and yet all you can do is get lost in his eyes....yeah that's a connection you have to fight to deny. And OH BOY does Temperance let him know that she is NOT interested in being his...but when Capture sets his sights on her, she will soon learn what it will be like to be captured by Capture!! *yummy*
Capture and Temperance are smoldering all over the pages and will take you on an intense journey of healing and acceptance. From Capture being there when she didn't realize how much she needs him, to showing her exactly why being with him would be worth the risk. And the risk is soooo worth the rewards! Hot spankings and submissive moments in need of punishment are deliciously written and portrayed throughout the pages as Capture works to capture Temperance's heart. But nothing is easy and they have everything to loose when the past comes back to haunt them in ways you would never see coming.
Facing everything together from the past, will either bring them together, or drive them apart. And when you know that if you don't set the one you love free, how will you know if they will live with regret if you don't. But setting them free could cost you everything you grew to love.
This book beautifully portrays the BDSM lifestyle and there are moments that made me cringe and cry. But if I didn't feel something with this book, even not living the lifestyle, then it wouldn't have been worth the read. And it is SOOO worth the read. It's gripping, real, raw, beautiful, and heartbreakingly perfect with a happy ending you just can't anticipate loving as much as the whole book before it. I really enjoyed this book. The storyline is deeply emotional, stunning, well-written. The reader is quickly drawn in. Opening chapter was very brutal..
This book is about; acceptance, betrayal, communication, love, self-discovery and trust. Temperance LaHeaven, a broken but strong female character, is fighting personal demons and is slowly introduced to the Bdsm lifestyle. Where she meets the sexy Dom Capture. He Is taken with her and all he wants to do, is have her as his sub, take away all her pain and sorrow, protect and make her feel secure again.
There was a few scenes that had me questioning from my sub side (I even read a few lines to my hubby) That we didn't agree with but to each there own....

I was given the honor of being one of the first to read this amazing book and I fell so in love with it that I read it 6 times before I rather unwillingly gave my beta copy back to BSM with my notes.
I am not even sure that I can find the right words to accurately describe this wonderful work of writing.
This novel sucked me in so deep I felt like I knew the characters and what they were feeling and yet never once could I guess what was going to happen next. It is full of life in all the best ways.
This novel while not for the meek and timid emerges you into the life of an amazing woman who you will instantly feel bonded with and soon become jealous of. Her pain will make you hurt for her and yet her friends will make you feel wonderful and her erotic and intriguing love life will keep one hand ready to turn to the next page just so you can get more.
An amazingly detailed look into the best side of BDSM in its true untainted form it gives you all the understanding needed and will leave you so curious you will want to know even more.
You will get to witness the complete transformation of someone's life in amazing ways while witnessing true immeasurable love.
Even the most delicate subjects are handled with such poise that you will want to read them anyway.
BSM has once again outdone herself and you truly need to read this for yourself. It will be a decision you will not regret.

Wow this book had me hooked!! Temperance who is the lead singer for Dreamer's Rage stage name Pandora... Who was Love in life enjoying touring until one morning things just go bad..... She was raped she lives through the ordeal moves away drops the stage name goes by her real name and want to start over.. Now with the new band and all girl band Crimson Sinister sisters she's trying to MoveOn but her demons will just not let her go...
And this is where we meet Capture a very hot sexy Dom.. And he has eyes for her and he's gonna do everything in his power to get a hold of her and never let go..
Now for me I struggled watching Temperance fight her demons. But she also had me laughing because she was smart mouth sassy woman who didn't fall to her knees for Capture and that's what I loved about her!!
To read and watch these to go through this journey of pain, insecurities, love,laughter, and fear and discovery was a roller coaster and one that I'm so happy to of been on..
This book had me turning pages and not wanting to put it down to find out more and more I had me saying what's going to happen next , and a couple of omg fan my face moments... Because trust me when I say Temperance and Capture together was so hot beyond hot!!!

Lots of sexy action
This is my first book by this author and the first one with sadism and masochism so prevalent. Stoneking does a great job with the scenes played out with the D/s. Many of their scenes are very intense but portray the need some individuals have to gain clarity in their lives.

Book would be a trigger for some people, and I would recommend using their discretion when thinking about picking this up.
BUT if you're interested in a BDSM book, I would be reaching for this over 50 shades of grey. Capture and Temperance were very hot together.
The grammar could have been improved, although I suppose the editor probably alreaedy had their work cut out for them with this one. But nobody is reading this book for its spelling, are they ;)

Can I give this book 10 stars?? I just finished and I already want to read it again. There were parts of this book that were very hard to read, but if you can get past those parts the rest of the book is amazing. I love the way they use BDSM as a release. It doesn't have to be a bad thing as people may think. The way Capture was able to take care of Temperance and make her feel secure again. Love that! I did want to punch him in the face when he handed her over to Eli. Damn his own insecurities!!! Ah I just loved this book so much. I think we need a book 2...hint hint! I need to know what happens next!. Thank you BSM Stoneking for an amazing book!!

Wow! What a ride! From the first page to the last, this book will rock you to your core! The intensity is the writing is unforgettable. Temperance is a heroine you will cheer for and Capture is a hero you will fall for. A match made in Heaven for sure! BSM deserves a standing ovation for tackling an issue too often left buried and a lifestyle too often misunderstood. Pain is real people and how we deal with pain is our choice. I love that Temperance learns to deal with her scarring pain through physical pain that brings passionate pleasure and Capture shows her true love teaching her how to deal with that pain in a positive way. AN AWESOME STORY!!! OMG! WHAT A READ!

I Loved this book!!! So much emotions were put into this story. Temperance is the leader of a popular band who after a night of pure bliss returns to hell on earth. She has to learn how to live again, and finds new life with a new band and an invitation to a BDSM club. Who would have thought that the man that you thought would never touch you would be just the man to show you Heaven. Definitely a must read.

Brilliant read, this book captured me from the first page,sucked me in and didn't let go. Loved all the characters, they all shone through and had their own personalities. A hot and steamy BDSM book with lots of twists and turns.

How can I put this book into words... I have had a book hangover for weeks. This book focuses on Temperace , who had had a rough and brutal life. I just cam not put into words how moving and beautiful this book is. I will not dish out spoilers..the blurb for the book says it all. Will I buy another book from this author..absolutely. Amazing story, definitely worth the read. I'm new to BDSM and it's described beautifully. You definitely feel like you get to know the characters and you definitely feel like a part of the book. I can't say it enough amazing book!

August 10, 2017This book takes us to a place most of us haven't been to. The scenes are off the charts, crazy hot. Temperance had a horrible event in her life, and she spent years trying to find herself again. She's feisty by nature, and even though she didn't know it, she needed the security that Capture gave her, while at the same time giving her the discipline that she craved. Loved all the twists and turns in this story! It might put you outside your comfort zone, but it's truly an amazing read. I loved it!
