We recently switched to a new system at work where we use SQL reports and this book was very helpful in understanding the basics and in creating those reports.

A bit of a let-down. Though the author does a good job of getting the reader excited about relational calculus and algebra at the outset, she falls short of maintaining that momentum as there is not much reference made to the same in the later chapters.
