A Remnant Shall Return

Rate this book
This book is a fascinating detailed scriptural analysis of the latter-day restoration of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. The return of the Remnant of Jacob, prior to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, will be the most spectacular event the world has ever seen, rivaling the Exodus of Egypt in both wonder and might. The book should be viewed as a comprehensive study guide and includes approximately 700 scripture references and source material. The book provides an in-depth analysis of the Book of Mormon and Bible prophets who taught at length on the subject. This book will forever change the way the reader looks at the scriptures and the events immediately preceding the Second Coming. It is a must read! This book has changed the way I read the scriptures! Before, I felt so lost any time I heard terms like "the Remnant" or "the Lost Tribes" even "Jews" and "Gentiles" could have me wondering which group was being referred to. This book has brought the scriptures to life for me! I love that the author doesn't lean on his own opinions to write this book, but backs up every point with a scripture reference. There are around 700 references in this book!

I also appreciate that he recognizes that he is not an authority on the subject. He begins the book acknowledging that and urging you to read this book with the Spirit as your guide. As the book unfolds, you will be blown away at what is in the scriptures and it has always been there! He shows you perspectives, concerning the second coming, that you may never have before considered.

I also love that he shares the same testimony, of what will transpire in the last days, from several people; John the Revelator, Nephi, Isaiah, Christ himself, Moroni, Joel, Malachi. Each testimony backs up the last. Each one prophesies of the same events. I had, and probably never would, connect them all, much less understand what they were even saying.

After reading this book, I am no longer fearful of the future and what lies ahead. I am empowered! I want to be prepared even more than ever now, and I am anxious for these events to take place. These events will transpire soon! This is a must read!

Any time I hear about a book based on the last days, I make sure to put on my skeptical glasses on before diving in. Other books I have read on the subject include Cleansing of America(4 stars), Visions of Glory (2 stars) Footstool of God (4 stars). This is the first book on the subject that I have felt comfortable giving 5 stars.

The biggest strength of this book was its anchor to scripture. Other books seem to stray away into non scriptural visions, accounts, and quotes, which can only take you so far. Any interpretation made by the author was thoroughly backed up by multiple other scriptures from the Bible and Book of Mormon. At no time did I feel the author was making a stretch to make scripture agree with him.

I would recommend this book to any Latter Day Saint wishing to learn more about the signs of the times which we are encouraged to be on the lookout for. With the author, I would suggest reading after prayer, leaning on the Holy Ghost to help learn and establish truth.

If you’re not reading this book right now, you should be! Most fascinating context on scripture I’ve ever read. Many will think it’s really “out there” but the author is saying? Don’t take my word for it, you need to search for yourself. Think what you will of this review but o fully endorse the heart, spirit and research that went into this book,

Very interesting deep dive into scriptures prophesying or relating to the end of times, although it includes many things from the Book of Mormon, it all lines up with and agrees with the Bible as well.

This book is fantastic. Even if you don’t agree with his conclusions, you will still learn a LOT about these revelations. The author clearly did his best to stick to scripture. I would love to see more people read this book even if it is just to hear their thoughts on it.

Heavy and out there at times. Interesting things ahead based on this interpretation of the Book of Enoch.

For those who want to be extreme doomsday people detached from society and feel like they are the righteous “in the know” for a 2nd coming of Jesus. Spend your time reading something else.
