Miranda has written another unforgettable book!

" The Undorgettabe Ex" , the fifth in the Captured by Love series and In this story Miranda gives us Soulmates, yes Soulmates, they are just having a little trouble getting to the Happily Ever After.

Once again it is that time of year to pick a man to be captured by Love for the groups favorite charity fund raiser and Natasha is left wondering who the women is when Gavin bets on himself .

Gavin Redford, former police officer and now private detective had found his soulmate in his bast
Freind Carter Garrett's sister Natasha and the two had the most perfect ten months together until the threats started . Gavin was instrumental in a large case that prevented the culprit Biggs from being with his wife; so Biggs has promised to harm anyone Gavin is close to .
So five years ago Gavin made the hardest decision of his life , he broke up with Natasha , because her getting hurt was unacceptable and the hardest thing he has ever done . not a day goes by that he does not miss her.

Natasha ,has spent five years trying to get over Gavin, but she just can not find anyone that she is willing to invest the time with, Gavin was it for her , still is. What would you do to protect the one you love?

5 years ago Gavin broke up with Natasha to keep her safe from a dangerous criminal hell-bent on getting revenge for having put his wife in jail. But now that the case is coming to a close is there a chance that he could ever get her back and get her to forgive him? Just when he thinks he's finally able to get his life back on track new dangers arise and he'll have to decide once and for all what the best way is to keep her safe.

Natasha doesn't know the full story about why he broke up with her but now that she's putting together the pieces she has to decide if she can forgive him for what choices he made.

These to are so sweet together and you just want them to have their happily ever after. But one thing after another keeps causing them to be torn apart. This is one of those stories where you yell and scream at the book just waiting for the chance for the characters that you've fallen in love with to find their happiness together.

Finally, we get the story about Gavin and Natasha. Gavin is a private investigator and 5 years ago he followed his heart to Natasha but then something happened and he pushed her away. For years Natasha loved Gavin so when they finally connect, she is elated only to have her heart crushed when he breaks up with her. This leads to incredible drama in their romance as we unravel the facts and issues that Gavin has struggled with for 5 years related to a case which Natasha has no knowledge of. Yes, love has guided Gavin as he protects Natasha. Would Natasha open her heart again if she knew the truth? Can this case be solved, opening the door to their happiness? This story has great twists and turns and reunites us with a great cast of characters and friends. I love this world that Miranda has given us and each time we get a new set of friends romance while staying in touch with the characters in all the other books. A wonderful way to escape from daily life.

#5 in the Captured by Love romance series

I had been looking forward to Gavin's story, but I'll admit that it was disappointing. He turned out to be an idiot who frustrated me throughout, and Natasha (Carter's sister) wasn't much better, so I suppose they were a good match. Gavin in a PI who has been focusing on a case involving a drug dealer who has threatened him and any girlfriend of his. So he's been holding back from Tash, for her own safety. Of course, as a big bad man, he can't tell her anything, just breaking up with her with no further explanation. Now that the guy is behind bars, he thinks their relationship is all clear until more threats are made, and he breaks up with her...again. With no explanation...again. Tash keeps getting hurt, yet she comes back for more. I was also amazed at the fact that both Gavin and Tash felt the need to share a lot of the details about his cases with their group of friends. I mean, the group is pretty large at this point and "they are all trustworthy," but it totally seems like they're compromising his cases by oversharing. They were both just too stupid for words. While I was frustrated throughout with their actions and the fact that they frequently jumped to conclusions, I didn't actively dislike anyone or anything, so I finished out the book and am looking forward to reading Marilyn and Jarryd's story and hoping for the best.

The Unforgettable Ex: Captured by Love Book 5 is by Miranda Charles. This book is well written and is very enjoyable. In several places, you think thee is going to be a confrontation and then there isn’t. It makes the book one you have to pay attention to. It is a fun book to read.
Gavin Redford was in love with Natasha Garrett. However, he couldn’t show it nor date her because of bringing danger to her. Someone was out to harm anyone he was close to. However, since his best friend was Natasha’s brother, it was hard to stay away from her. He uses the disappearance of his friend, Amber, as an example. However, Natasha didn’t fall for it. She didn’t give up on Gavin. Would she be able to get him in spite of any danger? Would anyone else interfere?
The book is a quick read and very good.

Damn Miranda you did it again and also shattered my dreams bij mentioning This is a work of fiction.  All of the characters, locations, organisations and events described in this novel are either products of the author’s imagination, fictitious or are used fictitiously and here I was trying to find me also some of this Unforgettable Ex.

I always get in a good mood when I see a mail from Miranda because that means she delivered me another great story to review. This story is about Gavin and Natasha who you know from the previous stories in the Captured by love series.

After 5 years of lusting after Gavin it's time that Miranda moves on with her live, because how many times can her heart survive every time he rejects her. Maybe she needs to give Leo a chance, but why is Gavin now interrogating him? Ok maybe her big protective brother was behind this and he needed to make sure that Leo was good for his sister.

Gavin needs to find his worst nightmare Cameron Biggs soon because he will not standby to loose the woman who he loved for almost 5 years his Tash. After putting Biggs wife in jail he made it his live mission to destroy every woman Gaving will ever love to see him suffer unfortunately for Amber she'd caught Biggs attention that time but he didn't know he kidnapped the wrong girl. So for the moment his Tash was not on his radar.

Since the evening was coming to an end it was time to start a new round of their Caputered by love game. Supprisingly Leo get in the game and bets on his self, everyone's eyes went to Natasha. But she was quickly save by Brad who was putting his money on Gavin and then her future sister-in-law’s declared the same bet. What is happening here, did she miss something? No time to think about it because everybody wanted to know who she would bed one. What's the best solution to get away out of the spotlight than to bet also on Gavin. What she didn't expect was that he betted on himself also and who's this mystery lady?

Could this lady be Amber who returns out of the blue? And what will Biggs do when he finds out that Natasha is Gavin's true love? Will Gavin and Carter find Natasha on time or will she disappear this time.

So if you want to know how the story ends hurry and start reading this amazing story.

When it came to Natasha, Gavin would do anything to keep her happy and safe. Except stay with her. Months of bliss with Natasha came to an abrupt end when he broke things off and walked away. His decision left both their hearts in shambles.

Natasha couldn't forget the one man her heart knew she belonged to. She thought they were great together, in and out of bed, thought the happiness they shared would one day be something they could publicly acknowledge. Instead, she watched him leave, confused as to why as her heart broke.

Gavin and Natasha's story is a second chance romance that would have been a simple reuniting and starting again story if not for Gavin's current case. He needed to bring a criminal to justice and discover who was threatening his love interest through letters. To do so, he had to break up with Natasha (their relationship wasn't quite public knowledge) and begin a new "relationship" with Molly, an undercover police officer. Fortunately, he played the role of Molly's boyfriend to a tee and made tremendous headway on the case. Unfortunately, he was so convincing in his affection for Molly, and hers to him, that it devastated Natasha and pushed her further away.

The reasoning behind the push and pull of Gavin and Natasha's relationship made sense: Gavin did what was necessary to keep her safe. Confusion and jealousy occurred, followed quickly by hurt. But Gavin was insistent on that one thing and, eventually, it paid off. They gained the relationship they always wanted, and their love for one another remained strong and true throughout the "I want to be with but I can't because..." part. I loved the gamut of emotions both characters experience from the cold depths of hurt to the fiery heights of love to the green-tinging vision of jealousy. If there is one thing Ms. Charles writes well it's emotion.

This is a solid addition to this series. The suspense is light and consistent, never once fading into obscurity even though Gavin and Natasha's relationship was the main focus. The happy ending they received was a long time coming and very much deserved. Their second chance at romance might not have played out like I thought it would but the journey Ms. Charles took me on was a hundred times better.

This series has been so incredibly sweet -- and now the earlier couples are starting to expect the next generation. I sense bets on due dates soon...

Anywho, we still have friends left to marry off, and this time, our opening bets have some of the men betting on themselves -- which, if you've read the other books, you'll know that this is simply a rarity. Not only are men betting on themselves, but they're the two men that Natasha is surrounded by.

Five years ago, her brother's best friend, Gavin, and she had a 10 month relationship -- slightly underwraps. But then another woman in Gavin's life went missing, and Tash was put aside. Five years, and she still hasn't quite moved on from Gavin.

Now, she's at this picnic and the man she's been casually dating, Leo, bets on himself. Of course, this gives Tash indigestion, because her heart still belongs to Gavin. But then Gavin bets on himself, and her heart simply breaks.

Let me point something out to you -- of this series, the only other 5-star I gave was to Undercover Playboy -- aka, Carter's book, aka Natasha's brother and her bff's book. Further aka, Gavin's bff and the only other person who knows what Gavin's life has been like the last five years. While not the same story, there are similar aspects in the two story lines, and whatever it is that MPC put in the water over there for these two books, it simply worked.

I truly enjoyed every moment of Gavin and Tash's journey -- mainly because Gavin had his reasons for walking away five years ago and they simply paint him as this big, protective, alpha male -- my favorite type of hero. But the reason for him safely putting Natasha aside all those years ago becomes threatened now -- and Gavin fights harder to protect the one he loves.

These stories have been so incredibly fun, and I can't wait to continue watching these friends not only fall, but for the fallen ones to begin the next love of their happily ever afters.

This is the fifth book in the Captured by Love Series and is about Gavin Redford and Natasha Garrett. Carter Garrett is Natasha’s brother and Gavin’s best friend. Carter is engaged (book 3) to Cassie Stephens who is Natasha’s best friend. Natasha has always had a crush on Gavin. They were together for 10 months five years ago. When an ex-girlfriend went missing, Gavin broke up with Natasha (Gavin is a private investigator with his own business). Natasha has tried to get over Gavin, but can’t. It doesn’t help that they are still good friends. Little does she know that Gavin did not want to break up with her and is still in love with her. Unfortunately he had to break up with Natasha because of a case he was on. There is a criminal on the loose that threatened to kill woman Gavin is close to. He is the one who took Amber thinking that Amber and Gavin were a couple. Natasha’s brother is a cop and knows what is going on. He hates to see his best friend so tore up, but wants to keep his sister safe. Gavin never thought after five years that they still wouldn't have caught the criminal. He is working undercover with a female cop to try and find out where the criminal is hiding. There are many twists and turns in this book that keep you guessing. I encourage you to read the book to see what happens. You won’t be sorry!

I liked how strong Natasha was and how she used her brain a lot. It was great how all her friends were there to help her when she needed help. I felt bad for her many times. I also felt bad for Gavin that he had to let Natasha go because he was afraid for her life. That is true love! It was great seeing some of their weaknesses together also. It showed how much they really loved each other. It was a great book. I was given this book for an honest review.

The Captured by Love series is based on a group of people who bet on who the next bachelor will be to fall in love, with the funds going to the winner’s favorite charity but The Unforgettable Ex is about Gavin and Natasha who were a couple but broke up five years earlier.

Gavin (owns his own private security business) and Natasha were a couple in love five years ago, but Gavin broke it off because he was being threatened by someone (who has revenge on his mind) in order to keep those he loves safe from harm and Gavin believes in order to keep Natasha safe he needed to break her heart, but he was also breaking his own heart too.

Fast forward five years.....the threats are still coming but Gavin can't stay away from Natasha any longer as his love for her has not changed in all this time but he knows he needs to stay away in order to keep her safe. Since Gavin has never told Natasha about any of the threats, she thinks its because of a former flame that Gavin is still in love with. Natasha's love for Gavin can't be denied, but she tries to move on....to no avail. She only wants Gavin! ! !

The anguish between these two is heartbreaking and you keep wanting something good to come from all the trouble but the threats keep it from happening...until Natasha overhears a conversation and suddenly the puzzle pieces begin falling into place but will love prevail or will Natasha end up heart broken again????

Who will be next in the Capture by Love series....Tristan, Simon or maybe Jarryd????

His always around how can he not be when his part of the gang and her brothers best friend. Gavin has loved her for 5 years but he cant act on his feelings because he will then but her on the radar and her life will be compromised.

After trying to hunt down the 1 man that holds Gavin happiness in his hands, Gavin finally gets a break and the chance to capture Bigg's, he has been trying to find him for the past 5 years that Bigg's has been on the run.

After being a little bit out there with his feelings for Tash, Bigg's gets wind of there relationship and as Bigg's threatened to take away every person that Gavin fell in love with Tash is now on the radar for Bigg's.

Is Tash's life now in danger?

Can Gavin save her before its to late?

Will Bigg's ever be caught?

Will Gavin ever be happy?

Will Tash and Gavin get there happy ever after?

We enjoyed this book in the series even though we know the game now and we know the way it works in the end it still nice to read how they get to that happy place.

I never know what to expect from a new author to me, but I’m enthusiastic to tell you Miranda P. Charles is a remarkable writer and this novel demonstrates her talent perfectly in her book The Unforgettable Ex. She has the ability for bringing the reader into the world of her characters, Natasha: a smart, beautiful woman and Gavin: an incredibly, sexy man. As they experience the ups and downs to finding the kind of love that only comes once in a lifetime.

The sensual Natasha Garrett had her heart broken by her brother’s best friend, Gavin Redford. The sex between them was scorching and she really didn’t understand why he called their relationship off except that he still loves his old girlfriend. Uncertainty and devastated feelings has caused tension between them even though they try to stay friends, but what can she to do?

Gavin Redford owner of a private investigation and security consultancy firm is still in love with Natasha Garrett. That isn’t wishful thinking. It’s a fact. The only problem is? He’s being threatened by a notorious criminal, along with any woman he loves and that means Natasha.

I enjoyed reading this book because of my love for suspense, and the sexual tension surrounding them was combustible.

Miranda has never disappointed me with her stories. I can't seem to get enough. Everything goes on hold when she releases a book, so I can sit and catch up with "my friends" she has created. This book is the story of a love that never dies.

The game of "captured by love" continues. Gavin loves Tash and will do anything to protect her, even break her heart when he let her go 5 years ago. Now he's hoping things are getting to the point were he can get her back. Although every time he feels it's right, some new threat develops. This book has you on a suspenseful ride that pulls your at heartstrings. It's full of a never-ending love that has you turning pages dying for more.

I love Miranda's books. She always has all the friends there for support, while keeping you up on their lives as well as learning and meeting new friends. I was so glad to see Marilyn's story is next. I'm hoping the three lifelong bachelors get captured as well very soon.

God I just love this series, this circle of friends.... This book is about Natasha and Gavin's story, completely addictive,sweet and sexy it's an amazing read! Charles gives us a flawless continuation that allows this book to be read as a part of the series or as a standalone!!! The story's flow has such an amazing rhythm that you will find yourself turning pages and taking in every single word! Sweet and sexy it can be enjoyed by all romance readers and more! Ms. Charles in the last three books of her Captured by Love series has went in a different direction. Her stories have been a little bit darker, more suspenseful with a deep sorrowful edge. She's doing something right because although the new vantage point is surprising, the characters are better developed in my book. I received an ARC of The Unforgettable Ex in change for an honest review. Natasha and Gavin's story is a complicated mix of heartbreak, sacrifice and danger. Gavin's actions were deliberately hurtful but necessary in his mind. His choices were painful and cruel to Natasha but in her best interest. It was hard for me to understand how he could be so good at destroying his own happiness and the heart of the person he professed to love. The desperation of this story is really hard to take but no less powerfully conveyed.

The thing I appreciated most about this book is that there was a chance to go over the top with the suspense and drama, but that didn’t happen. I liked that there was danger, but it never got to that “someone almost died” stage. That being said, the suspense was on occasion a little on the slow side. The plot as a whole was somewhat predictable, but not obnoxiously so, and I LOVED the ending.

As for our couple, I loved them. I enjoyed their journey, and adored their friends and family. If I didn’t like anything else, I would investigate more from this author, especially in this series, just for the characters alone.

The Unforgettable Ex is a story with a couple that has such a connection that it just jumps off the page. It was totally sweet and left me wanting more in the best way.

Five years ago Gavin broke up with Natasha after an ex girlfriend went missing. He was being threatened, so he pretended that he was upset about his ex's disappearance. Now he is undercover with another cop to try and catch the bad guy sending the threatening messages. But they start sneaking and seeing each other. The guy is caught and then his ex shows up after 5 1/2 years. He breaks up with Natasha again. He is keeping his ex at his house to protect her. He starts getting messages again saying they will kill his family, Tash, and her brother, his best friend. So her heart is broken again. Will she be able to move on or is she doomed to love him forever?
Great story. Forbidden sex. Shocks and surprises.

I read this book for an honest review wow Miranda does it again! I felt a connection with Tash and Gavin that they did like each other in the prior book you learned that they did date for 10 months five years ago and Gavin cut it off. You can tell Gavin is jealous of Tash bf and there is still romantic feelings there. Gavin still wants Tash but there are obstacles in the way which is a good story to tell. You wont get disappointed and is a fast read!! You finally also get a glimpse of Marilyn she the one that does the Love Games but she needs to get involve now. I love this book and you wont be disappointed!!

This is the fifth book in the Captured by Love series. We met Gavin and Natasha in the Undercover Playboy. Gavin is Carter's best friend and a private detective. He also had a relationship with Natasha (Carter's sister) five years ago. Gavin stopped dating Natasha fearing that she might get hurt by one of his enemies. Gavin feels like his getting closer to catching his enemy so he allows himself to be seduced by Natasha. But what happens when his enemy is closer than he thinks? This books has intrigue and love. Great book by Miranda, looking forward to the next book. Hoping it's Marilyn's!

Poor Gavin and Tasha, theirs is a rollercoaster love story; great highs and lows. Good story, read in a couple of hours and they do eventually get their HEA.

Another great book from Miranda.
Loved Gavin and Natasha. They are just broken up inside for each other and trying to move on with life, even 5 years later.
But a simple twist of fate changes it all, and they both find it was meant to be.
But will the real reason he let her go come back to haunt them.
I love this series.

This is one P.I. that can not keep his personal life and his work separate. There is always someone threatening his loved ones, and keeping them apart. The Unforgettable Ex is definitely unforgettable. This guy is a genuine knight in shining armor. I love this story, it is a rollercoaster ride of suspense and drama. I highly recommend it.
