Hot Seals crossover by Tracy Sharp. Kellan Shields is a retired SEAL now working for GAPS, Jon Rudnick's group. He is haunted by his experiences in Afghanistan and has a therapy dog named Milo who keeps him calm when nightmares or flashbacks hit him.

Everly McCall is a political television reporter connected to a New York senator with his eye on the White House. She finds trouble when a junior staffer of the Senator'scales her with a tip and is murdered before he can tell her the story. She becomes the target of some killers and Kellan begins to guard her. They begin to investigate together and find that the Senator is much more involved than he would want anyone to know.

Good story and good love story, too.
