There’s a reason nice girls don’t f*ck with guys like me. Riker
I’m big, bad, and I don’t play around. Ex-con, lone wolf, general hardass. I’m focused on training for a series of upcoming cage fights, which I hope will be enough to boost me into the UFC circuit. I don’t have time for games, and I definitely don’t have time for fancy girls with college degrees.
Still, when I walk into the bar where Nora works, I can’t deny myself one hot night with her… she’s sexy, sophisticated, and doesn't take any sh*t.
And she’s far too good for the likes of me. I know better than to get attached, because everyone around me ends up hurt or dead. I just wish I could let her go...
Nora
Guys like Riker are NOT on my “to-do” list.
Riker begins to train me in the ring, but soon I want him to train me in the bedroom. He's a cocky, arrogant bastard, but I need him with a burning passion I can't switch off.
Closer up, I realize that Riker is even more damaged than I am. His secrets threaten to tear our relationship apart, and I don't think I'm strong enough to fix it.
One thing's for sure--never get in the way of a bad boy and his honor.
Bad Boy's Honor is a standalone novel with a HEA ending. For a limited time only, the ebook version includes two FREE bonus books. Bad Boy's Honor will finish at about the 33% mark on your kindle.
Jessica Ashe is a twenty-six year old lawyer, who has turned her hand to her real passion--writing about alpha males and bad boys. She's likely living vicariously through the heroines in her book until she finds an alpha male of her own.
I absolutely loved this book. I went into it a little blind about the plot, but I didn't care too much since I've really enjoyed the last few Jessica Ashe books I've read. This one is my favorite of hers (so far).
Riker is an underground MMA fighter with a healthy self-esteem. Fortunately he doesn't cross over into the unredeemable tool area, so he's a very entertaining character and you find yourself rooting for him as much as an extremely likable heroine. He meets Nora in a bar (it's her last night working there) and they have instant chemistry and one very hot quickie in the back room. Nora wants to meet her biological father, who happens to be the owner of Riker's gym (whaaaat? surprise!). She spends a lot of time getting to know her father at the gym and ends up with Riker training her one-on-one. They begin to build a good foundation and friendship before they once again given in to their attraction for each other.
I liked everything about this book. The pacing was perfectly developed. Again, Riker didn't cross over into douche territory and Nora is the kind of person anyone could identify with or like. She's very clever and witty and I liked she kept Riker on his toes. The storyline was simple, but it also wasn't predictable and didn't exactly go where I thought it would near the end. I began picturing a lot of angst that never happened (and I'm glad). I liked how Riker and Nora's priorities aligned and how they'd grown together. I was also reminded several times of the stereotypes we make of others on first impressions and how it's not always black and white.
Overall, a great book to read over an afternoon with just enough humor, smexy time and a few stomach dips to make it a perfect read. Loved it!
I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
Riker is a cocky cage fighter and he knows it. Used to getting women when he wants them with very little effort, he sets his sights on the beautiful bartender Nora. Working in a rough dive bar should make her an easy lay right? Yeah not so much. ...
Nora has no desire to get with Riker. It's her last night working in this bar and she's not going to end it with a one night stand. But after a few hours of relentless pursuit and seeing a side to him that seems he keeps hidden, she may just change her mind.
The only thing to get in the way of any kind of romance is the two of them over thinking things. Nora doesn't like the violence that Riker subjects himself to, and he thinks she's too good for someone like him. Will their hearts ever be able to overrule their minds?
Loved the chemistry between the two characters. They both over think things instead of just asking the right questions. The suspenseful climax comes later and is not what you would expect!
**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
I loved this book, Riker and Nora were a great couple, Riker was a very sexy MMA fighter man whore and Nora was a sassy lady who knows what she wants. This book had me hooked from page one it was well written, fast paced, hot, sexy and never boring. It had moments of angst and Nora's sass had me laughing. It's another great read from Jessica Ashe this lady certainly knows how to tell a story and wether or not MMA fighter romances are your thing I would highly recommend this book.

I received this book in an exchange for an honest review. Being completely honest I was very disappointed by this book. Riker was a total jerk from the start and Nora still let him have his way with her. If you decide to read this book, which is totally up to you, you will understand what I'm talking about. The whole book was basically both characters at a gym that's how it felt to me. I didn't believe there was any chemistry between the two, plus not a lot of steamy scenes either.
This book is my first book by Jessica Ashe and I'm so glad that I picked this book up. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I also found myself very connected to the characters. This is one book that I know I will be able to read again and again.
First of all let me start by saying that I am torn about my review. I have reviewed Jessica Ashe's books before and 2 of her books have been 5 stars for me and one other was a 4 star book. This book however was not my favorite. I did like it but not enough for 4 stars. The book was a quick read and I finished it in one sitting. It kept me entertained, however, I felt it was somewhat rushed. Riker is a hot underground MMA fighter and Nora just graduated from college, her mom recently passed away, and she found out who her father was. Turns out her father is Riker's manager and father figure. Before Riker or Nora find out that they have Duke in common they meet at the bar she worked at and after Riker insisting Nora gives in and has a one night stand with him. Riker is rude to her the following time he sees her because he thinks she's stalking him but she's really there to meet her dad. Duke takes having a daughter well but his off and on girlfriend and Riker don't. Riker wants to go into the UFC and doesn't need any distractions but he can't shake Nora off; Nora feels the same way. After Duke tricks them into Riker training Nora they start to get to know each other and give in to their attraction. I don't want to give it all away but I felt there was some unnecessary drama with people from his past. It's never resolved. There was chemistry between them but it was like ''meh". Riker wouldn't go to her even though he would mess up. Nora was very immature and would usually just run off. I felt there wasn't much communication between them. I did like the epilogue but it could have been longer to be honest. Like I said, I'm stuck between 3-3.5 stars.
Nora grew up with a hard working mom. Her mother enjoyed helping others so that is what Nora wanted to do with her life. To follow her example and help others, especially kids. She never knew her dad or anything about him until her mom passed away and she was going through her mothers stuff. She had decided she was going to find him and meet him. Riker is a bad ass cage fighter, going through fights until he could become professional enough to fight Tyler Young. Riker is driven and has no distractions, that is until he sees Nora for the first time.
Bad Boy's Honor is the story of a man who always felt fighting was his most important thing in his life. But when he meets the one, his world is turned upside down. Nora has changes his perspective and he is ready to let his playboy status all for her. However, althoug Riker wants Nora, he feels she deserves better than him. Yet he is determined to win her. He wants her and it will be nothing or all for him.
This book is very entertaining. If you enjoy books with underground illegal cage fights, a man and a woman who are so attracted to each other with great chemistry, sad moments of going back and forth on what they do or don't want, and a love story.. Then you should read this book. I loved reading about two people from two different worlds who want each other and have to work at it out to make things possible. It keeps hope to this real world. Hope that one can find true love no matter your circumstances.
Nora grew up with a hard working mom, her mom enjoyed helping others, so that is what Nora wanted to do with her life was help others especially kids. She never knew her dad or anything about him until her mom passed away and she was going through her mothers stuff. She had decided she was going to find him and meet him. What I enjoyed most about Bad Boy's Honor is watching a man who always felt fighting was his most important thing in his life and world to looking at Nora that way, from him going from his playboy days to not being able to look at another woman the same way again, cause now all he see's is Nora. Riker wants Nora but feels she deserves better then him, and no matter what Riker thinks Nora fights it cause she cant see her life without him in it.
This book is fantastic, an entertaining read. If you enjoy books that have underground illegal cage fights, a man and a woman who are so attracted to each other that it is seen easily from those just watching from a distance, sad moments of going back in forth on what they do or dont want, and a love story.. Two people from two different worlds who want each other and have to work at it.. If you enjoy stories like this, then Bad Boy's Honor is a must!!
Never judge a book by its cover. That has been Rikers problem from the beginning. Riker is an ex-con and an underground MMA fighter who is training to become the next UFC fighter. He has an addiction to woman but never keeps them long. Since he is not only sexy but a hot item people notice him a lot his boss sets out to use his looks and charm to promote business. But falling back to his weakness, woman he meets a beautiful bartender who gives him a fun ride.. Nora is beautiful independent woman who just found her biological father. She is working her last shift at the bar when a cocky prick of a MMA fighter comes up to hit on her. She plays it hard to get..but then gives him a taste of her treats .. He's hooked and so is she..but they are so caught up in their own worlds to think of more than that. To both their surprises Nora father is Rikers boss at the gym. Trying to build some kind of relationship with her father she is doped in to training herself. Her father puts Riker to train her..great right? The sexual chemistry is off the chart with them and soon it bleeds into everything. The heat to much to deny any longer. But is this just another quickie or something more? Riker has bad people come back from his past and that puts her in the forefront of danger..he will turn her away and break her hopes..will that ruin a future for them? I received the book as an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
I received this for a honest review. Jessica Ashe did a great job.
Riker Clyne had been through so much. He has also lost so much as well. He was a underground fighter that wanted to make it big, of course he had more than one reason. He lived for fighting, the high and the thrill that it provided. It was what he knew.
After getting out of prison Duke had pretty much saved him. Duke and Gayle were like family to him and he owed them so much.
Nora tried her best to stay away from the bad boys. Now here this bad boy was flirting with her and she knew one thing, she wanted him. Nora was working her last night at the bar when she met Riker. She had one goal that was to meet her dad, Duke. Now here Riker was throwing a wrench in her plans.
It had to be surprising for Riker to find out his one night stand was Duke’s daughter. Things are getting ready to get more complicated. There is a chemistry there that Riker and Nora cannot deny. I guess the question is how is Duke going to handle that his daughter he found is sleeping with one of his fighters?
This was a great story and had a few hot and steamy parts along the way. You will love the fight and dance between Nora and Riker.
I first want to say I have read 2 other Jessica Ashe novels which I have loved. This one I definitely enjoyed as well.
Nora just graduated from college has the summer off before she starts he job as a social worker. Working her last shift at the bar where she works in walks a cocky UCF fighter with huge chip on his shoulder. They meet have sex and think they will never see each other again, until she walks into Riker's gym the next day looking for long lost father.
Riker never wanted to develop feelings for Nora but the more time they spend together the more he wants her and is scared of hurting her.
This book is fast paced which I love about Jessica Ashe's writing style. I wish we knew more about the characters not just Nora and Riker but the secondary characters. We get glimpses of them but I wanted a little more. Told in dual POV you learn about Nora and Riker and how their feelings grow, I loved this part of the story so well written.
Overall if you love Jessica Ashe like I do definitely pick this up, if you are new you will also enjoy this story.
Riker is a fighter and never has to work for a woman. He doesn’t want the usual ring girls at the fights. He wants the sexy barmaid tonight. This is her last night working at the bar. She doesn’t need to put up with any of these guys at the bar. Until she sees Riker. At the end of the night she feels herself succumbing to the charms of the bad boy that he is. Now they can’t seem to stop thinking about each other…
Bad Boy’s Honor darn near caught me on fire with all the sexual byplay between the hero and heroine! Ms. Ashe has a way with words when it comes to her sexy heroes and their erotic bedroom skills. She keeps me on the edge of my seat, always wanting more. I never want her stories to end, this one included. The sex scenes in Bad Boy’s Honor are so hot, you’ll want to keep plenty to drink on hand. I can’t think of a single thing this book lacked. It was intensely erotic and the perfect length to entertain, but still leave me wanting more. Every chance I have to read a Jessica Ashe story, I’ll be at the front of the line so I don’t miss out! 5 Stars!
Nora is one step away... from her last bar shift. from her future career. from meeting her father.
The last thing she needs is some muscled up, tatted bad boy trying to get in her pants. Well, maybe her pants disagree, but the guy is a total ass. No, she needs to remember her plans and they don't include this fighter...
Well they didn't include him, and they won't any more... Obviously, Nora is having trouble with more than meeting her dad. A certain fighter seems to be bobbing and weaving through her mind. It won't work though, or will it? Can Nora and Riker overcome their issues? Will they be what each needs?
Hot and heavy, chemistry Good girl and bad boy Opposites attract Not much hotter than carnal lust, followed by feelings no one anticipated
Riker and Nora's paths cross at a bar, after one of his underground MMA fights. Neither expects to see the other again after their night together, but Nora reappears the next day at the gym where Riker trains. The attraction between them is undeniable, as are their obvious differences which constantly try to drive them apart.
There was a little too much "I want you, but we can't be together" for my tastes, but it was a good, solid read that I enjoyed.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I just loved reading about Riker and Nora. Strong characters and story line. Ex-Con Riker is getting read for his big fight that could change his life forever. Nora is getting read to meet her father that she never knew existed. They are both attracted to one another but try so hard to fight it from happening. Will they be able to stay apart from one another? Or will the strong attraction win out? Will Riker confront his fears from all that he has gone through and the loss that he has had in his life? Or will he let it it keep him from finally finding love?
Riker is a self-proclaimed bad boy, ex-con fighter, whose hump and dump motto works just fine for him until he sees her again. Nora, the one night stand who he couldn't pass up in the bar that night (and who he callously hooked up with then cruised out the door with a "thanks, it was fun"), shows up at his gym where he trains as an underground MMA fighter. Try as he might, he can't resist the allure of her, and neither can she! Can the good girl social worker tame the dedicated manwhore?
My first book by Ashe and after Bad Boy's Honor, it definitely won't be my last. I loved Nora and Riker's playful, sexy banter. Ashe threw in a twist to the MMA romance that I definitely didn't see coming which made for a refreshing read! Now I'm headed to read Foster and Revenge which she so graciously included in this copy! I received this arc in exchange for an honest review
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
I loved this book. Once again Jessica Ashe has written a book that once I started I couldn't put down. This books has a Bad Boy Cage fighter and a nice girl that normally doesn't go for his type. I loved the way his fights feeling of wanting to see more of her. Love conquers all or does it..... read this book to find out!

I loved this story! Jessica knows how to pull her readers into the book. The plot was fantastic and the storyline flowed smoothly. Once I started I couldn't put it down. The characters were well developed and easily relatable. This one is worth reading!
1 star because there were more blank pages that written word. And when a page with words came epitome it was in the middle of a sentence in the middle of a paragraph. I want my money back.
