A match made in heaven can still give you hell. Sasha
We can’t choose who we fall for.
Logan Ryder is an arrogant, cocky smart-ass…and he’s also the sexiest guy I’ve ever seen. It’s no wonder that girls are practically beating down our door to try and win his heart.
Oh, did I forget to mention that he’s my stepbrother?
He lives to annoy me, but that isn’t why my knees go weak whenever I see him. I guess sometimes the heart sees what's invisible to the naked eye, and speaking of naked….I’m going crazy over the thought of him in my bed.
I’m so screwed.
Logan
Sasha doesn’t know it yet, but she’s my perfect match.
I’m done with one-night stands, and I’ve finally found the perfect girl. She’s smart, funny, and ambitious, and the second I saw those beautiful eyes and gorgeous curves of hers, I knew she was destined to be my girl.
One problem—she’s my stepsister.
Our parents—and everyone else, for that matter—would be scandalized if they knew what I wanted to do with her, and I know that it’s wrong. Do I care about that, though? Hell no. It might be forbidden, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to stay away from her. I’m going to make her all mine.
Just try and stop me.
**Match is a steamy standalone romance. NO cheating, and a guaranteed happy ending!**
Caitlin Daire writes about sexy men and the smart, curvy women who love them. She has found her own happily-ever-after ending with her husband and two kids.
DNF 53%!! I my country there is a saying that perfectly describes this book. The translation to English is a bit difficult but you'll get the gist of it. It goes like this: lemonade without a lemon 🍋 😩.
Basically you have two 19 years old people who meet and find each other attractive. Couple of days later they discover that their parents eloped and that now they are "step siblings" and that they will be living together for a year or so. Before that they didn't even know each other or that their parents even knew each other let alone date. So we are supposed to think that their relationship is taboo :D just because their parents married. 🙄 they are adults who could live in dorm or rent an apartment or whatever.. how is this taboo?
It is not taboo it is false advertisement! That's what it is!
Besides this MINOR detail the characters were obnoxious immature and worst of all brooding!
I enjoyed this book. I've read a couple books by this author already. I like her writing style. She does a good job trying to make her stories have heart, love, passion, & some drama. The story lines are usually pretty original. This one reads like a fun romantic comedy with a bit of drama. There are some good sexy times in there too.😉
This book is told in dual perspective by the MMC Logan Ryder & MFC Sasha Vega. They are both in their early 20's & go to the same college. It's an insta-attraction type relationship that grows pretty fast into love. The two meet before they know their parents are in a relationship. They both have kind of strained relationships with their parent. Logan only has his Dad. His Mom passed away when he was young. Sasha only has her Mom. Her Dad passed away too. They are both shocked to know about their parents relationship & wary of the other parent. They all move in together after Logan & Sasha learn their parents got married without them there. Logan starts a funny at times prank war with Sasha. She gives as good as she gets during it. They both fight their attraction. Neither are sure of the others feelings, emotions, or motives. Their relationship develops pretty fast after they give into their feelings. They have misunderstanding & spats, some ups & downs, but they quickly learn they are both on the others side no matter what. They are soon confiding things to the other no one else knows. They each help the other grow & see things differently. That all helps grow a pretty sound base for their relationship. Soon some drama finds them, but they learn to deal with it together. They story isn't all happiness, light, & rainbows. There are ups & downs, some angst, & a bit of drama & danger from outside forces. They work at it & overcome things. The books ends with an HEA. There are 2 epilogues at the end. One in Logan's voice & one in Sasha's voice.
Overall it is a good read. There is a real storyline & it's told well. The book is a little over 200 pages. Give it a read.
Ok here we go. Another taboo relationship just because their parents decided to marry each other. First of all they both seem to be in a high school age mentality. The pranks really aren't that big of deal & was super petty but whatever. That you can overlook but then the whole "I'm so over my ex cheating on me I'm ready to move on" but "no I think every guy is a cheating back stabbing guy" to "I shouldn't paint every guy with the same color". Seriously decide what or how you feel & stick to it! Plus the whole " steamy" scenes read like a bad porno! So again no no no no! Don't bother! On to the next & hopefully a better one.
Logan and Sasha. From sparks flying due to different viewpoints to bonding together during trauma and danger. This book had me turning pages with excitement and curiosity of what is going to unfold next. I loved the way it ended. The author really tied things up neatly. The book left me with a happy feeling.
Great book about to stepsiblings I love reading this book. This offer outdid herself with this book. I never wanted to put it down. I would love a follow up from these characters.
It was very sweet. Not a huge conflict and honestly, not even all that taboo. I know irs her step brother but I mean, they were barely around each other to build up that forbidden aspect , so the taboo level is super mild. However it was cute and sweet.
I can’t believe this book was written so well. I loved it from the beginning until the end of the story. I could tell from the beginning the sparks pop out from their connections. I loved it
bland and boring, had to skim through large sections trying to get to anything interesting bits of plot to read. Boring characters, poorly developed personalities, half-baked background... pretty bad.
Found myself skimming most bits so I just knew what was going on, wasn't written great to be honest. Don't think I'd read another book from the same author.
*possible spoilers* i received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Sasha and Logan meet in class and later find out they are a match on this new match maker app going around their school. They hit it off only to later find out that their parents went and got married behind their backs without telling them their were even seeing anyone. After they move in together, Sasha and Logan start playing childish pranks on each other that eventually lead to them getting hot and heavy with each other.
Now they are trying to hide their relationship from their parents but when Sasha ends up kidnapped and almost dies, Logan has to overcome his biggest fear and save her. Will they be able to overcome the odds and be happy together despite their parents? Can they truly have a happy ever after with each other? Read to find out the outcome.
I did really enjoy this book. I have read many stepbrother romances but this was cuter than most. Logan wasn't the typical "Jerk" from the start, and Sasha was a strong willed character from the beginning. They were opposites but in a good way not a you hate him but learn to love him way. They learned to lean on each other when they needed to.
Logan and Sasha met during a heated argument in class and she discovered later that he is the sexy guy she swapped right on the Matcher app, by the end of the week, she was informed that her mother got married and the lucky guy was Logan's father. She moved in his family house and their crazy good relationship began. They went through silly arguments and they had some hilarious prank wars. They became more comfortable in each other's company and falling in love was inevitable but keeping their relationship a secret was hard given the circumstances of leaving under the same roof. Logan shared with Sasha his deepest fears and told her the story of his mother's death and why his father hated him. Sasha was blackmailed by an ex-boyfriend and his girl, kidnapped and nearly died but Logan was a step ahead from the kidnappers and saved her and the proposal was the best end. I loved it so much like I loved every book of Caitlin Daire.
Caitlin Daire has written a great romance story filled with suspense, steamy sex, and the blossoming of romance between 2 people who trusted no one.
Sasha was betrayed by the boy she thought was in it for the long haul and one of her closest friends. Logan has carried baggage since childhood that keeps him at arms length from everyone until he meets Sasha.
Follow the twist and turns Caitlin has incorporated into "Match". It will have you cheering and swearing at the same time. A great romance for all.
Loved the book couldn't put it down! The plot from beginning to the end. Would love to see what happen after the proposal. Logan and Sasha future together after law school and whether they had a family. Glad to see George and his wife doing well. That the relationships with their k I decided just get better and become a great family.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i hate teacher/student romances, even if it IS between a college professor and a student of consenting age. There's always that "abuse of power" dynamic that rubs me the wrong way. Stopped reading once that was revealed which was around the 2nd or 3rd chapter
I'm a huge fan of Caitlin Dare's work! When I see her name, I automatically know it's going to be a good one! Match was sweet, sexy, and full of drama! Logan and Sasha kept you turning the page for what's next! I received an arc in exchange for an honest review
I'm a big fan of Caitlin's and loved this book! A fun, hot and steamy short read that had a little bit of everything. Once you start you can't stop until it's finished. It will have you laughing and getting all fired up!
I love this book. Their story is so sweet and made me laugh out loud. They had drama! Boy, did they have drama! They came through it so strong and happy together. I love them.
Great book, no cheating, real feelings and some non OW/OM drama. Awesome. HEA too and an the end is years in the future so you know it lasts. Loved it.
Yep Caitlin Daire did it again....she kept me up all night lol. This is a story about a girl Sasha who goes on an online dating app and she meets a guys who she was arguing with in one of her classes who happens to turn out to be her stepbrother. How weird is that right? The story kinda goes from there. They basically argue at first and then play pranks on one another. It was great. In all her books there is something that always happens to the couple in a major way. This one was a doozy.
