This book is the first works after Aoyama Nanae was awarded the Akutagawa Prize, which can be regarded as the extension One's good weather. The One's good weather depicts a girl who shifted from a freelance to a formal employee and bravely took a new step. And its already the fifth year of the author into the company when the heroine in The Gentle Sigh had been created. Despite different plots, it fully resembled a follow-up coverage for the growth process of a girl.

这是我第一次读青山的书，因为之前没有期待，所以看完以后也没有特别的感受。故事大体是关于一个女孩慢慢发现自己生活无聊乏味，所以想挣脱开这种固定的生活模式，但还是失败归于平淡。剧情没有特别吸引人的地方，措辞语气也和我之前读的日本小说基本相似。不过清的文字淡而韵致，青山的笔触就颇显苍白。我能理解园生活的乏善可陈，但对她选择挣脱的方式不敢苟同。在被绿君拒绝后，她就又回到不愿与人交际，不愿做出什么改变，默默窝在家里，空虚寂寥得日子里去，格局窄小，意义不大。小说整体不长，讲的也是一个简单的故事，只需喝一杯咖啡的时间而已。
