The first two in the series were great but 3 3 was a little disappointing. 4 I am skipping completely after reading 27%. I read Series because I enjoy the familiarity I get with the characters. In book 3 the best characters had minor roles. Book 4 takes place across the country and the only character is unfortunately the least entertaining. I’m sure the story line is great and I may go back to it but at this time I am looking for a series that develops the characters while giving you a great plot. At the end of a series you should feel like you’ve lost an old friend, and so far this series is not growing on me after books 3 and 4. Giving 5 a try.

Gracie on vacation, finding a death body, wasn’t what she had planned, at least she didn’t know him. The guests at the B&B were another thing, what was going on with some of them. Hiking with the owner, proved to be another clue, that something wrong was going on. Would Gracie and Marc spend time togethe, and find where they wanted their relationship to go. It does end on a cliff note, with them now being engaged.

To Serve And Protect

Oh the messes Gracie gets herself into! Gracie is in Arizona on an impromptu vacation as Marc works on a drug case. When a dead body literally shows up in the river, it's completely useless for Marc to ask her not to get involved. As more people end up dying, it's pretty scary not knowing who to trust. Can Marc put the pieces together before the killer adds Gracie to the death toll?~

Excellent Mystery

Great plot that kept me guessing about who the bad guy was. Characters were well-written and believable. I also enjoyed the scenic flavor as the author described the Bisbee and southeast section of Arizona. The tension in the romance felt r true to life and typical when one person is in law enforcement. A good book.

This is a long way from the Milky Way Kennel!!

Gracie really stepped in it this time!! A vacation that included seeing that hot Marc seemed to be too good to be true. It was. Drug smuggling, dead bodies behind every bush and hostile federal agents everywhere. What's a girl supposed to do? Gracie knows! Another delightful mystery from Lucinda Wallace.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I originally thought Gracie and Marc were a great couple and hoped they'd get together but now I'm not so sure. He doesn't seem right for her but maybe I'll be proven wrong. This story took place away from home and didn't appeal to me as much which could be part of the problem.

No relief

Gracie’s vacation in Arizona to be with her love goes amiss from the beginning. A Mexican drug cartel, evil park rangers and misguided fortune seekers keep this rolling. A good read.

Good!

Gracie goes to Arizona on vacation to visit Marc and see if their romance has survived their separation. Craziness erupts as murder and drugs occur ; Marc is busy working and Gracie found the body! Very different from preceding books and a very exciting adventure!

I've just finished reading this book, it grips you from the first chapter then has a little wobble
but picks its self up again and you just have to carry on reading to the end...
