Well this book is about 9/11 the day 4 planes went through two towers and two buildings. Theres many reasons why they flew 4 planes into a tower/building. This book would be a great way to introduce 9/11. The book of Ground Zero will provide details of the attack, with a timeline of the events. This book also talks about the aftermath of the attack.

Ground Zero discusses the timeline of when the buildings were hit, the damge of the buildings, the rescue efforts, and the responses people said from around the world. In the book it doesnt say any details of whom were the terrorist were, but this book was publish a year after. It also gave a timeline about how the building was damage and how the buliding was built afterwards.

Everyone was surprised about that day, no one knew this would happen on a nice beautiful day which was on a Tuesday morning in New York City. It had been a scheduled to depart at 8:00 am, around the time of the other hijacked flights. 8:46 a.m mohammed attack the other hijacked. American Airlines Flight 11 crash the plane into floors 93-99 of the North tower of the World Trader Center, killing everyone on the board and hundreds inside the building. ( The America Airlines boeing 767 loaded with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel crashed into the North Tower plus it left a gaping burning hole near the 80th floor of the 110-story skyscraper.)

As the evacuation of the tower and its twin got underway, teleivison cameras broadcasted live images of what initially appeared to be a freak accident. At 9:45 a plane hit Washington D.C, and slammed into the west side of the Pentagon milltary headquarters . The first tower collapsed at 9:59. 27 minutes later the second tower collapased. The sadly later that day 7 world trade center callapsed at 5:21 pm from fires that had started when the norther tower collapsed.

I do recommend this book because it does tell you so much detail about 9/11 and it doesnt forget any parts of that day. The awesome part of this book is that it was written a year later the 9/11 happened. This book is a good book for us kids because we need to know what happen on 9/11/01 and it explains everything so well. I give this book a 5 out of 5 , the reason I give this book a 5 is because I love to learn about 9/11 , that day is a special day for me and because its a about nature and not some folk tale story plus theres sone good facts that happen that day.
