When the Cavanaugh sisters--Reecie, Robbie Jo, and Carla--inherit the family moving company, they take the bad boys of Texas by storm by showing them just how far they are willing to go to get what they want. Original.
Amie Stuart is the last of a dying breed: a Native Texan. She writes sexy, emotional contemporary romances set in small towns. In the past, she's worked as a receptionist, a daycare office manager, delivered pizzas, and was even a hairdresser for five years--all fodder for the writing gig. That and all those Barbara Cartland romances she cut her teeth on.
None of those careers can compare to her favorite job: writer. She's a storyteller through and through, even when she's keeping tabs on her almost-grown sons and many pets, or organizing promo and planning trips for her day job as a personal assistant. She smokes, she drinks, she writes, she curses--sometimes at the same time.
I have just finished this story and have to say that it improved as it went on. I was t sure about the book after the first story about Reece and Jack. The characters didn't seem to really make sense to me. They seemed to be full of contradictions. Also in the first story the sex seemed to be of a wham, bam, thank you ma'am nature; not what I was expecting. The second story about Robbie Jo started off with my not liking her. All she seemed to do was drink and sleep around, but through her story with Cash I found myself growing to like her and the author's style more. I would have loved to have gotten more information on Cash. I found him very intriguing. My need for more information about Cash and Robbie Jo got me to start directly on the third story about the cousin, Carla. The first two stories didn't build a lot of sympathy for Carla in me. She seemed to be a selfish, lazy woman. I really liked the twist about her family. , and the fact that she seemed to realize her errors at the end of her story. Overall, this book grew on me as it progressed. The author has a clear style and entertains as she moves you through the stories. I really liked how she managed to show the same important events from all three perspectives. While the epilogue didn't give me as many details as I would have liked; it was a satisfying ending.
Now this isn't the sort of book i usually read, but i always give books a chance and i'm glad i did. This is very tastefully written. Its about two sisters and a cousin who own a moving company. Each member has their own section about them and their lover. I love the way it crosses into each others story's and just wish their was more. I could read much more about the 3 ladies and their lovers. The sex scenes were hot and exciting, but like i said, very tastefully written. I expected this to be like some written porn movie and it wasn't.
Give this book a chance (obviously if your 18+) it's not just a book about naughty sex, it has a back story aswell. I'm hoping maybe we may get another book about these 3 as i have grown to adore them.
Fun and exciting, saucy with some emotional parts. Some of the things more books should have. Amie is a fantastic writer and has a great imagination!
The Cavanaugh Brother's Moving company is about to make some changes and not all of them are good. Carla Cavanaugh wants out and expects Reece and Robbi Jo to pay for her half of the business. In the meantime, some seriously sexy men show up to make the transition that mush easier. I won't spoil it but you're in for a treat with this one. Stuart developes the story of the Cavanaugh cousins really well but I was a bit surprised about why Carla wanted out of the family business (Carla is not the most likeable character). Though I would have like a little bit more of finished ending, I still liked it because Stuart really made this book about the women and their relationships with each other. Great book.
I loved it! It is so refreshing to see our leading ladies are not so vulnerable and helpless anymore. It was a good opening view of the Cavanaugh sisters, their personalities and their ideals....just enough to make u drool for the next book. The version I read was a goodreads first reads giveaway that I won. It is a signed copy. Well written, realistic and addictive cant wait for the next book!
This is definitely not the type of book that I would pick up, I am really glad that I did pick it up. This book is not all about sex, its about three sisters taking over the family's moving business. Through the book there are multiple sex scenes that are extremely detailed and fun.
It's a to read if your 18 and older and looking for something spicy.
Good sex and an interesting story line. The tale of 2 sisters and a cousin who find eachother and some hot sex along the way. Much more story than sex, so one of the tamer erotic novels out there.
I had a hard time getting through this book. The characters were eh... The plot was also eh. Nothing that grabbed my attention or made me look forward to knowing more about the characters. I feel bad because this was a book I won and hate to give a bad review but I also don't want to lie to the readers or to the Author. I give this book a 2.5
UGH!!!! The author leaves you hanging at the end of each story.;-{ how about finishing each story before going to the next! Unfortunately this is another author rehashing details of the previous story into the following stories also. Ugh!
