Secrets of Romanism

Rate this book
Dr. Joseph Zacchello has given us in this volume a unique and much needed exposition of the Roman Catholic doctrinal position together with clear and concise refutation of their fallacious claims, using their own Bibles (Douay version and St. Anthony Guild edition) for this purpose. The contents of the ten chapters will be a revelation, not only to many Protestant readers but, perhaps even more so, to Roman Catholics who have no idea of the wide chasm that exists between Catholic claims and the Word of God ... It is our hope and prayer that Dr. Zacchello and this volume may be used in direct and indirect ways to bring many seeking Roman Catholics out of the darkness into the glorious light "which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." [From the Foreword by William Ward Ayer, D.D.]

Anyone wishing to know more about the real Roman Catholic Church should read this book. Who better than a converted priest to warn Catholics of the pitfalls of Romanism! I liked that he used the Douay version since the Catholics despise the Geneva, Tyndale, and KJV of the Bible. His critiques and questions are spot on if only people would consider them. Two other books worth reading: Chiniquy, Charles, Fifty Years in the Church of Rome and Hislop, Alexander, The Two Babylons.

A useful if not invaluable tool for understanding and meeting the claims of the Roman Catholic Church.
