Exposed: The Erotic Fiction of Alison Tyler

Rate this book
Alison Tyler is a pioneer of a kind of erotica that’s at once arousing and sophisticated, playful and explicit. A prolific author and editor in the field, with 15 novels, 20 anthologies, and more than 400 short stories to her credit, Tyler here assembles her very best short fiction. In Exposed, she spotlights women exploring their most vulnerable erotic moods and moments, often filigreed with humor and a BDSM slant. These stories cover the span of her career, from her first published effort (“Untouched”) to her latest (“Well-Trained”). In “10 Minutes in the 80s,” a nervous virgin surprises her first pickup — and herself — when her inner hussy is unleashed. In “Blades,” a sexy klepto gets a happy shock when the saleswoman at the knife counter discovers her secret — and takes her home for punishment. In “The Last Deduction,” dominatrix Nadine finds delightful new uses for her tools — dildo, whip, and handcuffs — when she’s audited by the IRS. Exposed showcases the compulsively readable style, quirky insights, and steamy tableaux that have made Tyler a favorite of both readers and critics.

All the stories are short and fun and smart, and pull no punches with the sex or the psychology.
Loved it. Especially "Naked? Never!"
