A murder of a sweetie pie…
A newbie, pathetic agent…
and the reluctant mentor…

Kelly Kinki is back in action!

Voted #7 of DC’s Most Eligible Bachelors, now Michael Archangel—her boss—is officially the hottest PI in the neighborhood, and one of the most talented. Sought by clients and police alike for his wit and brain power, this is an American Sherlock with style – and a unique past.

The college girl was last seen at Tricky Sundae, a local ice cream shop, and then she turns up dead. This time, the case seems so normal, at first. The victim, a universally-loved college student, has been strangled. Well, maybe not so “universally” loved, since she’s dead—and that’s the weird part. Not a single person has anything bad to say about her.

When the FBI summons Archangel to help investigate this case, he is not thrilled. This PI solves crimes both big and small – except this time, FBI is asking him to find the killer while helping to ‘shape’ a newbie, arrogant, and pathetically dense ‘agent’ into actual agent material. Who will get to the killer first, and will they catch the killer before they start killing each other?

Recipes included!

Heather's Notes
This story was really cute and super short. I did not realize it was part of series when I started it. I am going to go back and get the first one.

Cute, easygoing mystery.

A newbie FBI Agent, a PI and his assistant walked onto a college campus. Why? Because a young coed was murdered the night before and her body was found at a construction site with no id and other various accessories missing. The PI, Michael Archangel (not kidding), has been tasked with mentoring the newbie in hopes he will leave the FBI. Michael indeed pushes the agent into solving the case, but does he deter him from pursuing a career in law enforcement? Good read.

Use your mind!

Kelly and her boss Michael are asked to investigate a murder and mentor a newbie FBI agent. Can they help this conceited agent reach the right conclusion? Can Kelly find love with Michael? Great reading.

I really wanted to like this book because I love humourous mysteries. Sadly, although the story is short so quick to get through, the story line is weak and the english so poor that at times it was hard to follow.

Deadly vision

A rather disappointing book. The characters were not very interesting and events lead to an obvious conclusion and no twists and turns to add interest.

Lotta created an interesting and fun plot to go with a nice group of characters making this hard to put down

Don’t Look

Kelly is the one who is where all of us have been at one time or the other. Who wants to kill her boss but needs the job.

I really enjoy the characters and these mysteries could be so Intriguing if they were a little more in-depth and longer. If you need a palette cleanser these novellas would be perfect!

A little unbelievable

Fun read but the relationship between PI and assistant very awkward, plus when does a PI run around with his assistant in the field? Hmmm.

Light, quick, good

Hoping this is NOT the last of the series. The story line is good and you can enjoy a few minutes of storytelling that's fun to read.
