The Devil's Dance

Rate this book
The Devil’s Dance is set in the regency era when new fashion and inventions were being introduced and traditional values were being challenged.

The devil’s dance was the new-fangled waltz from Austria where people had to hold each the close. This had never been done before and horrified the traditionalists.

Into this world Caroline Carstairs tries to bring a touch of modernism. Bertie Collins- Margrave, Lord Haverbrook, is captivated by her personality- but will he stick with tradition or let love guide his heart?

Well written characters who are obviously suited for each other, surrounded by a short scene that easily pulls you into the time period. Well done.
