HATED || is a collection of short stories and poems from Belfast writer David Louden (Bone Idol, White Mexicans).
Having drawn comparisons to legendary American author Charles Bukowski from fellow writers, publications and audiences alike, Louden uses his spit & spite dialogue, off-colour humour and poetic lamentation to demonstrate why he is hated.

David Louden writes from a small desk in a dark corner of a room in the shipbuilders’ corner of Belfast. His work has been praised by the likes of Phil Jupitus (Never Mind the Buzzcocks), Kevin Porter (Dodgeball: An Underdog Story) and the late Dan Fante. He has been featured as part of the Van Nuys International Arts Festival and New Coin Magazine. After a few years writing and illustrating comic books, David is working on a novel about a retired wrestler turned private detective and is excited about the ten copies it is likely to sell.
