Rouge Bear:

Calan Winters has been running for 15 long lonely years. After the death of his parents he had to get away. Now 15 years later he finds himself headed back to Bear Bluffs to settle down and find a mate. Sure he could have any woman he wanted. He was sick of all the one night stands with the Barbie type of woman. No, in a mate he wanted a real woman. One with curves and one that had some meat that he could hold on to. He did not believe in Fated Mates. They were something you found in fairy tales, at least that was what he thought until he meet Harley.

Harley Hammond had not lived in Bear Bluffs for very long. She had suffered so much pain and decided to go to Bear Bluffs to find her dad and settle down. For 2 years she stayed away from men. She did not want to be abandoned or hurt any more. I actually loved the character Harley. She was not ashamed of being a beautiful plus size woman. She had so much inward strength that I do not know if she was aware how much she truly had. The last thing Harley thought she would find is her mate.

The thing about Harley and Calan is they had more in common then they realized and I am not referring to them both being bear shifters. They both have been seriously hurt and needed healing and not knowing what they needed was each other. Calan thought he had to be strong for Harley. That he need to be her rock so that he could help her heal. What he didn’t know is he would find healing in her love and strength.

There is a part in the story where Harley’s life is in danger. It is amazing how when your back is against the wall things that matter come into focus. You can see thing so clearly. This is an amazing story and very heart warming. If you love shifter books you will love this one. You cannot help but fall in love with Harley and Calan. What an amazing journey it was.

Outlaw Bear:

I remember how much I like Jet Taylor from the 1st book. He is this handsome bear shifter that owns a local bar. He was such a great man that would not hesitate to help his fellow friend out and let’s hope that karma came back on him and he ripped that goodness. Jet was to a point in his life where he and his bear were in sync and wanted to settle down. He longed for the right woman and to have a few little cubs running around. Finding himself stuck with a woman like Sandra had to be hard. Sandra was this awful hateful human being. Sometimes you get to a point in your life were it is time to cut all ties.

You have to find it funny how fate steps in at times and steers you in the way you need to go. Kailee Britten finds herself settling in the town of Bear Bluff. She did not desire to settle there but circumstances brought her there. I really liked Kailee. She was this beautiful plus size bear shifter that was not afraid to speak her mind. She had made some mistakes and did not want to repeat them.

What a shock it must have been for Kailee and Jet to first lay eyes on each other in Jet’s bar. They both knew there was something special going on between the two of them. Though the human side did not want to make the first move the bear was within was ready to stake it’s claim. Almost funny both was fighting the urge to protect each other when need to be. It must be hard to have something so strong within you fighting to get free and help put your feet on the right path..LOL

Jet and Kailee both find themselves in a very dangerous situation. Sorry will have to read the book to find out what happen, but trust me it is worth reading to find out. There is some distrust, hurt, and healing for both Jet and Kailee. You will so love this story and will not want to put it down. Terra and Amelia are one of my drop everything for authors. Broken Bear:

Terra Wolf and Amelia Jade always bring their reads such books. I had received this book for an honest review and I truly loved the story. I love when the female characters show such strength and that is what Alyssa Williams did.

Alyssa who was this beautiful curvy woman had runway from her home town. The things that she had suffered in her past had caused her to distrust, plus she did not want to put others in danger. The best thing she thought was to put distance between her and her past. What she was not expecting was to come face to face with her true mate. Though she was in denial her bear had recognized him immediately and wanted him.

Tanner was a small business owner in a small town called Bear Bluff. He never thought he would find another woman to be his mate. He thought he would spend his life alone. After seeing Alyssa he knew there was still hope. He knew off the bat that she was his mate. He just needed to convince the feisty woman that kept getting under his skin.

There is danger surround Bear Bluff. They must figure out what is going on and what has caused this danger. Can Tanner keep the town and Alyssa

Junkyard Bear:

Andy was a bear shifter that was very handsome. He was good at working on cars and enjoyed helping people out. He did not long to be someone that will find himself rich with several business all over. He loved his simple life. Unfortunately he had not met a woman yet that felt the same.

Robyn was this beautiful curvy bear shifter. I just loved her personality. She was a professional demolition derby driver. The road was her life. She did not have time nor want anything else in her life. She had something that was eating at her and for that she could not move one.

Andy knew the moment he saw Robyn there was something about her. He just could not put his finger on it. Robyn had the same feeling. I loved watching the attraction grow between these two. Problem was every time they seem to get close it was like Robyn’s boss Charlie would find a way to get in the way. I really did not like Charlie. He was a big creep that needed to be put in this place.

Robyn had a secret that she thought might be a deal breaker with Andy. She did not know how he would take the news once she told him. Andy is having a hard time figure out a way to win his mate and get her to stay. He needs a little help and guidance before it is too late.

This collection doesn't even have the plot line that carries through each one, they are just four little stories linked by some of the characters knowing each other. Without that little bit of meat, there's not much to these.

Good collection

This set was very entertaining! The bears were funny. Though each book was written as stand alone books, it was nice to have them all together.

BLUFF BEARS 1 – ROGUE BEAR
I just could not feel anything for Harley, she just came across as hard, not damaged from her previous boyfriend and why she could not get herself out of trouble when she was kidnapped and nearly raped I do not understand. One bear, 3 humans equals pain for the humans to me. Instead she is knocked out with one hit. Silly.
They hardly knew each other before they had sex then Harley had a tantrum.
Calan was nice and tried hard to give Harley space knowing she was his mate but the lack of talking bothered me.
I did like the storyline but to me it needed stronger, more believable characters to make it seem real and I found the writing a bit stilted which made the story seem jumpy.
A real pity as it had all the makings of being a great book.

BLUFF BEARS 2 – OUTLAW BEAR
TITLE – Once again I liked the story but not the heroine.
What is it with the heroines in this series, they are all hard and unlikeable. Yes, they have a rotten experience as background but really.
I like a feisty strong female but these women are just too mean to the men in their lives because they have been hurt before. You don’t tar everyone with the same brush then have sex with them because your body is telling you too as they are your mate.
Kailee and her father were not even close and she saw what her father could do and even though she listened to Jet’s tale she had already condemned him. Even knowing her father set her up and pushed her to Bear Bluffs for his own ends, Kailee goes home to find her father and some others, (no spoiler) who then hold her for ransom. Her own father drugs her and hurts her for money and after Jet saves her she still does not believe it.
She at least apologises, grovels a bit and admits she was acting like a bitch.
Jet had made mistakes in his youth but had been redeeming himself for 14 years, that is not a short period of time. He had removed himself from that life and had a good life in Bear Bluffs running a business. He was likeable and as honest as he could be by telling Kailee all about his past after her father tried to kill him in front of her.

BLUFF BEARS 3 – BROKEN BEAR
TITLE – A real see saw ride.
In this book 3 we have another ungrateful heroine. Alyssa is saved from a car crash, attacking wolves and offered a bed for the night and she is just plain rude to Tanner and the others who saved her
Okay, I really see sawed in my reaction to Alyssa. Dislike to like to dislike to like, see a pattern.
Alyssa at least starts acting decent the next day and I gave her a lot of leeway when her situation came out. But then she still does not tell what is going on, keeping everyone in danger. Back to being selfish.
But then she redeems herself again. See the pattern.
Tanner was a lovely courteous bear shifter whose fiancée had died in sad circumstances. He thought Alyssa was his mate but her behaviour was off putting.
Loved that where Alyssa came from was disbanded by the government.

BLUFF BEARS 4 – JUNKYARD BEAR
TITLE – The best of this series.
A good interesting really sweet story where I liked both Andy and Robyn.
They were both so sweet and clueless about what to do to tell the other they thought they were mates.
Loved what Robyn did for a living. Really different but sad about her sister.
Andy was just the sweetest most clueless male I have ever read about.
Neither wanted to tell the other they wanted to be together in case that was not what the other wanted for their lives.

Rogue Bear (#1)

Calan Winters has returned to Bear Bluffs after being gone for fifteen years. He is ready to reclaim his parents land, find a mate and settle down. At least he thinks he is. After meeting Harley in The Bluff Quencher, he is even more sure that is what he wants to do, but Harley doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with him.

Harley isn't the type of woman that men want to settle down with. Her last boyfriend proved that. So when a new guy in town shows lots of interest in her, she just can't believe that he would stick around. She once again sends herself into her own self-destruction and gets careless.




Outlaw Bear (#2)

In his past, Jet lived a life of crime. He has since turned his life around and is living on the straight and narrow. His bar is basically his life now, though he would love to find his mate and start a family. Life has been lonely and he is ready for more. Kailee comes into his bar. She is new to town and Jet feels a connection to her, but she shuts him down instantly. He doesn't know what her story is, but he sure wants to find out and see if they can form something great.

Kailee has just gotten out of a bad marriage and she isn't looking to get into another relationship. Men are not to be trusted. Her father and her ex have both taught her that. She knows that there is some kind of connection between her and Jet, the bartender, but she has no interest in starting anything.

Things start to really heat up when her father comes to visit and several things come to light.




Broken Bear (#3)

One thing to remember.....secrets do not make for a good relationship.

Alyssa knows this, but just doesn't know how to tell hers. Then again, she never plans or planned to have a lasting relationship with anyone either.

Tanner knows that Alyssa is his mate, but he can tell that she isn't going to be open to that fact. This is not a woman who trusts easily. Plus, she has secrets, ones that she isn't willing to share.

Even with the trouble that has come to Bear Bluffs.




Junkyard Bear (#4)

Robyn Mills is a Demolition Derby driver. One of the best. She is on a mission to win again, for her sister. She has pushed everything else aside to concentrate, even relationships. Not that she had many anyway.

Andy Hawes has a life he really enjoys. He runs his own business. It isn't a glamorous business, but it is his and he does just fine with it. He isn't looking for any kind of romantic entanglement as most women are disappointed when they find out he doesn't have a lot of money. Then Robyn pulls into his drive. Things just got very interesting.

Oh wow what an amazing story, I absolutely loved it, I have not read very many shifter books lately where 2 shifters find each other (fated mates) most lately have been human/shifter. I loved this what a great start to a series, yet can be totally read as a standalone!!!

Outlaw Bear
Amelia has done it again, Jet is so hot!!! He was in book one and I was so intrigued by him that when I saw book two was his I jumped for Joy!!! I was so happy that Jet and Sandra did not work out, and boy what a story with that lol I Highly recommend this book, oh and it can be read as a standalone book as well, but with how Amelia writes I will be reading all her books she just has a way with words that sucks you into the story!!!!

Broken Bear, this is Tanners story it will break your heart when you read of his past but it is nothing compared to Alyssa's I also love the story about Devon and Dylan , this is full of surprises, I also have a question about what the nurse told Alyssa yes or no lol

Junkyard Bear
I absolutely loved this book, Andy is a bear that has his life set and in order, Robyn is a demolition Derbyshire driver who happens into his life, their story is sweet and beautiful, even though it takes a while for them to actually realize that they are meant to be!

I Highly recommend this box set!!!!

I had read a couple other books by the author and was not impressed. I decided to give her another go with this series but ended up stopping after just two.

I found the stories, characters and dialogue too similar to each other and the other works I had read. It was like she created certain characters and just changed the name and hair length. Their personalities are either over the top or/and lacking in depth. I find the internal struggle that gets voiced overdone and at times it seems to cause the story to become stagnate or annoying.

Even the hot and steamy scenes are come off as repetitive. Pretty disappointing as the author seems to be one of the more popular paranormal/shifter romance writers around.

I love bear shifter romances, so I was excited to see this box set with four of them, and couldn't wait to read it. I'm happy to say that I wasn't disappointed, and I enjoyed the stories quite a bit. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys shifter romances.

This selection is for different stories the first one is about Calan and Harley, The second is about jet and Kailee, The third is about Tanner and Alyssa, and last but not lease are Andy and Robyn. Each story is fun to read, steamy, and has happy ever after ending's.I recommend the set to anyone who enjoys PNR.
