APB Perspective book review:

I started reading this book I was very excited , I loved the way Jordan and Saha met, I felt the chemistry coming off the pages as I continued to read them interacting with each other. Jordan could not resist Sage no matter how hard he tried. I loved the friendship between the men in this story , the positive family interaction between Sasha and Ray. I liked when Ray and Sasha referred to each other as Sun Goddess and Sun God at first, but as I continued to read it throughout the book I became irritated the repetitive use of the names takes away from the story. The secret life that Sasha had was a bit much. I felt the story of Jordan and Sasha was strong enough without all of the extra going on. The author introduced the Kemetic religion with no real explanation of what it is. I am interested in reading the next books in this series to see what Sean and Rays stories are.

I hope someone decides to make this into a movie or even a series. Jordan Black is an Alpha male who reminds me of old school Richard Roundtree. Shaft was an alpha of the first order. Jordan is a savy business man with other skills. He has two friends Ray and Sean. They are three handsome, skilled men with different talents as well. Ray sends a billionaire to pick up his sister at the airport. Sage is an world known photograher and then some.
Jordan knows from the first 10 minutes tha he's in trouble. Sage knows when she see Jordan that her life has forever changed. Jordan has problems from his childhood he still carries. Sage had tragedys but she and Ray had each other and other support. Jordan's past rears it ugly head and Sage helps him handle his demon personally. Sage has serious skills and talents of her own.
This story is one with two strongwilled stubborn people who find life would be empty without each other. I loved the story and this new author I have found. There were some book issues and references to the Kemetic faith that could have been handled differently. However, it was a great story. I look forward to reading her new standalone with the same characters.

Romance done right.
I have been waiting for a romance novel that had great romance and suspense. And this book had both. Jordan and Sage's love was so strong, they really had each other's back. Can't wait for the offer stories. I know they're gonna be good.

Just Straight Up Sexy
I am in love with this story and the overall chemistry between the characters.The love, laughter and mystery mixed in makes for a well rounded story.This was such a sweet sexy story that starts out strong and finishes with just as much swag.Throughout this story when referring to the "Black Magic"I just kept imaging Isaac Hayes voice.This was definitely a good story,a sexy romance and a worthy whodunit.

50 shades of grey (the black version)
if you liked 50 shades of grey then you’ll love this book.
The cover is remarkably beautiful and captivating. I love it and it will definitely catch any readers eye.
Unfortunately, That’s the best compliment I can give to this book.
I started off with this and almost immediately there was an intense attraction between the 2 main characters. How did this attraction start cause they don’t know one another. I mean they saw one another and 10 minutes later they were in love. The intensity of love moved lightening fast.
It was one of those books where the rich wealthy guy falls in love with his best friends little sister. Usual plot with a few twists.

This was my first book by this author and I was impressed. The story had a nice flow and was constantly moving. I found myself purchasing book 2, when I was only halfway through this one. A definite recommendation.

I LOVED HOW THE STORY STARTED WITH JORDAN AND SAGE. THEY HAVE A GREAT LOVE STORY THAT WOULD HAVE STOOD ALONE ON ITS ON FOUNDATION. THE USE OF SUNGOD AND BABY GODDESS WAS CUTE. THE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS ARE STRONG AND THE STORY GETS BETTER EACH TIME.. GOOD START TO THE SERIES.

If you are looking for a great romantic novel with a some added suspense, then Black Magic is the story for you. Love the main characters, Sage and Jordan and the supporting characters as well. Can't wait to dive into the rest of this series. You will love every minute of this book.

Loved this book! Love Sage, Jordan, Sean and Ray! This is actually a re-read since I loved it so well! I think I'll re-read book 2 now! If you haven't read anything by Ms. Camille, you are truly missing out! She is amazing!

Jordan Black CEO Billionaire owner of Black Diamond Holdings, has secrets, his closest friends and a broken heart but you couldn't tell from how he always handles his business. Women came a dime a dozen and knew their place but he had determined he would never give his heart to a woman.
Sage Parker is an Award Winning Photographer and the only sister to Jay Parker who is best friends with Jordan and a part of his inner circle. Sage is moving to LA to be closer to her big brother and to start her own art gallery. Sage isn't looking for no man, she is about her business and that is all.
Jordan and Sage meet and the sparks are instantaneous, Jordan doesn't realize at first but he has met the other part of his heart beat. Sage has met the other part of her heart and recognizes that their hearts beat in sync with each other. Jordan has come to recognize what it is, Love but Sage on the other hand doesn't know if this can be true, she was already badly duped once and she is not about to get back on the roller coaster but then she slowly realizes that Jordan is the man for her and possibly build a life together.
Jordan and Sage both have secrets but these secrets are not the kind one would expect and when it comes to Jordan's close knit circle of friends, you discover that they too have secrets, deadly secrets which leaves you to wonder, what exactly are these guys into and why?
Who is trying to come after Jordan and his friends, an invisible enemy which has managed to not only stay elusive but mysterious and as they try to dig underneath the surface to figure out the what and whys? they now realize they must be way ahead of the game in order to catch whomever is after them because now the stakes are even higher because Jordan is in love and will kill anyone who tries to harm his woman, the dark shadowy side of Jordan is just about to surface.
My first story by author D. Camille and I loved every minute of it. Let me first start off by saying, I totally appreciated that the author didn't go into every detail of sex the couple had. It is totally refreshing because you know the whole detailing of every sex scene isn't necessary. Now don't get me wrong because I loveeeeeeeee great sex scenes but my issue with some authors is the whole detailing of it and there are times when the writing of the scenes are so off that I have myself skipping over them (***Gasps***) because who doesn't love sex (***Raises hand while snickering***). The point I'm trying to make here is the author did really great in writing those scenes, she knew when to detail and then when to fade to black.
This is a whole series and I am now starting "Masters of Illusions (The Black Diamond Series Book 2)" which is my man Mr. Sean Jackson's story Woot! Woot!

I'm intrigued!
I've been wanting to try out author D. Camille for quite some time, and I finally made my way to the book that apparently started it all. This was a good read! I enjoyed the romance, suspense and intrigued that were sprinkled through the story. If I had to categorize this book, I'd say it falls under the romantic suspense genre. There was an equal representation of both in this one. And I just happen to be a fan of both, so I enjoyed the journey. Looking forward to continuing on with this series, and better editing it would have warranted a 5 star rating from me!

Great Read!
The introduction of one of the positive organized groups, Excellent. I can see how the Black Land series began. I love the romance, action and the protective, agape love they developed for one another. Again great read now on to the next adventure. Book 2.😊

This wasn’t your run-of-the-mill storyline and for that reason, alone, it rated high for me! Add to that it was written and the characters were well developed and you come up with a 5 star read!

Love is Beautiful.
Jordan and Sage were the perfect couple. The book had a balanced mix of romance and mystery, though the dialogue of the characters bothered me. It just wasn’t natural and I hope it improved in the sequel.

This love story was my introduction to D Camille and I must say it was one helluva intro. Thru Sage & Jordan’s story this author has gained a true fan indeed in me. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

A decent read...very interesting to learn about khemetic beliefs.
Author needs a better editor a few too many typos and grammatical errors. Got a little weird on the end and not believable...but will probably finish the series.

The book is too slow for my taste. While the charters are developed the weird mind sex part was totally disappointing. I will not finish the book it don't seem like it is worth my time.
