This best-selling, classic introduction to automatic control systems has been updated to reflect the increasing use of computer-aided learning and design, and revised to feature a more accessible approach_without sacrificing depth. Contents: Mathematical Foundation. Transfer Functions, Block Diagrams, Signal-Flow Graphs. Mathematical Modeling of Physical Systems. State-Variable Analysis. Stability of Linear Control Systems. Time-Domain Analysis of Control Systems. Root-Locus Technique. Frequency-Domain Analysis. Design of Control Systems. Design of Discrete-Data Control Systems.
Appendices: A_Frequency-Domain Plots. B_Laplace Transform Table. C_Z-Transform Table. Answers and Hints for Selected Problems.
I read this book a part of my Bachelors course on Linear Control Systems. It was prescribed as a text book but I used it more like a reference. I do not remember much about the contents of the book, but the course sure was fun.
