There are things that dwell in the dark places of the world, in long-abandoned crypts or musty attics—terrible things that can destroy your body and shatter your mind. Few individuals would think to seek out such nightmares, but those drawn into the darkness often find it infecting them, corrupting them in ways both subtle and disgusting. Some believe those who die facing such horrors are the lucky ones, for the survivors are forever scarred by their experiences.

Pathfinder RPG Horror Adventures gives you everything you need to bring these nightmares to life. Within these pages, you'll find secrets to take your game into the darkest reaches of fantasy, where the dead hunger for the living, alien gods brood in dreams, and madness and death lurk around every corner. Rules for players and GMs alike pit brave champions against a darkness capable of devouring mind, body, and soul. To prepare to face such torments, the heroes can take new feats, learn powerful spells, and even acquire holy relics—for they'll need every edge possible to survive!

Pathfinder RPG Horror Adventures includes:

- Corruptions that can turn your character into a powerful monster, from a blood-drinking vampire to a savage werewolf. The only cost is your soul!

Good evening and welcome fellow Children of Chaos.

Despite my best efforts to both play and run horror themed games, I have found it a Sisyphean task. The sheer act of thinking in rules (Roll a D20 to hit) instead of organically just throwing a punch or whatever would be the natural response.

Also, as always the artwork is goofy and overdesigned.

However, I do like the additional sanity rules and I could see it be used in a non-horror themed campgain if you wanted a game where you were putting mental stress on players (I.E. on the run from the law.)

Also the game has in the rulebook safeword rules (I always use them at my table). Where if a player is getting uncomfortable they can call the safeword (I let them use yellow light and red light) and we either pass what I am doing, or stop the game to take a break. No questions asked.

While there will always be assholes who use Tabletop gaming as a way to bully and harass people at least there is an actual rule in the book you can point to now to tell them to stop. It probably won't work all the time but I'm not sure what else Piazo could possibly do.

The magic items, monsters, and some of the spells were good. More story threads/prompts would have been nice to see. The "how to run a horror game" parts were, to me, pretty pedantic and irritating.

Basic Premise: New rules, classes, etc for horror-based characters, settings, etc for the 1st Edition Pathfinder RPG.

If you really like horror gaming, this is the book for you. Corruption, insanity, and all of the best things we see in scary stuff can be found in this book. It's a really great resource for adding those elements to a game. This is definitely intended more for gamemasters than players, but there are a few things there for players as well.
