First Lady Amelia Greene has been suffering from horrific visions―visions of herself transforming into something unnatural and bloodthirsty. As the hallucinations worsen, she seeks professional help, but this all must be kept secret for fear of a political scandal. Prior to his first professional work, Tynion was a student of Scott Snyder's at Sarah Lawrence College. A few years later, he worked as for Vertigo as Fables editor Shelly Bond's intern. In late 2011, with DC deciding to give Batman (written by Snyder) a back up feature, Tynion was brought in by request of Snyder to script the back ups he had plotted. Tynion would later do the same with the Batman Annual #1, which was also co-plotted by Snyder. Beginning in September 2012, with DC's 0 issue month for the New 52, Tynion will be writing Talon, with art by Guillem March. In early 2013 it was announced that he'd take over writing duties for Red Hood and the Outlaws in April.

Tynion is also currently one of the writers in a rotating team in the weekly Batman Eternal series.

Lovely little cthulhic story. There are nice beats in the layouts. Time to let it sink in. You get the feeling that this could have been a much longer piece but it ends just as the horror grows. If it was intended to be a series, then this would have been a good arc. In some ways, the way it stops now makes it more in the cosmic horror realm than if it had been tied up neatly.

Lots of fun. Makes me want to go hunting for more mythos informed stories. I forgot how good they can be even when you kind of know how it all ends. Kudos to a well told story.

The human faces were weird sometimes but the general art style and quality is top notch. I loved the story and the small little beats. The pacing is great. It left me wanting more.
